Now this is the type of video I wish Samsung made more often. Far too many videos showing us a feature(s) but not how to use it. This video was outstanding!! Keep it up Samsung.

Totally agree. Samsung Notes is really the best note-taking app on android. Another how-to video I'd love to see is multi-window/ pop up window multi-tasking, especially with MutliStar in Good Lock, I can just press and hold the "Recents key " to activate. Actually, I think that should be built-in right into the operating system rather than having to download a separate app.

Love Samsung Notes. This is one of the best thing that comes with the Galaxy devices.
I just wish that they add the old feature from the Note 4's S-Note, that allowed us to take pictures. Convert them into a editable Note document
On the note 4 ad the girl took a photo of the dry erase board and was able to move the words around I thought was pretty cool.
S-PEN is also great for artist autograph. I take a picture with them, I do a screenshot and they autograph. I have been having Notes since NOTE 3 and they are all great devices!!!
I always love the many options that Samsung Notes offer! The marker & pen colours, background colour and size and so much more 🥰

Why don't you just buy the phone? There are some great deals out there to get it cheaper. I got mine for $599 after trade in and a rebate.

(Sadly it's not easy to buy it in the third world, I've been saving for over a year and a half for a note 10 and can't buy it yet).

But with an update you could have acrooss most of the devices and not only note 20 which is bad practices.

I wish it had date picker and time fields like the older S-Note app did. That was very handy for log sheets and any other form that needed to capture dates and times.

I use the app daily and I'm always looking for ways to make this app more useful for my productivity.
Can you please consider...
1) Adding a landscape pages. I can't use landscape pages unless I create and then import them myself as a pdf. At the moment when I add landscape pages as a template it's like a shrunken version that is running across a portrait mode page.
2) From there, allowing us to write on the quarter of a full page. Especially for phone usage. If possible, you can have a small window in a corner (Maybe shown briefly?) that shows you a the full page and where you're writing. Often I take notes and then when I look back on it in tablet form or try to print/ share a page I've essentially written gigantic text on a full page. It's wasted space and then I don't feel like Samsung notes has any real purpose on a phone and should only be used in tablet form. (And for that matter, I wish S note wasn't abandoned and had better options. Like light colors for pages instead these super bright colors that scream at you when you use them.) Even still I would appreciate a landscape format.
3. Hyperlink to page. I've found that when I journal, take notes on a subject or do digital planning, when I add pages I wish I could hyperlink to the original page or a page I'm referencing. I've essentially had to make all my hyperlinks in another app (Xodo) and then after I've done all the editing and formatting use the doc in Samsung Notes. I honestly like SN better for the aesthetics (my handwriting looks better and like my own) and how perfectly it syncs between my devices. Had the other app been as good as SN about syncing between devices I probably would've stuck with that. In any event, even though I have preset hyperlinks I cannot add more which would be more efficient.
4. Different font styles.
5. Smaller fonts or an option to choose fonts that reads small when at size 8. Currently size 8 looks like a 12 pt font (and I checked with another documents app and it's actually more like 2 pts higher than what the app is stating).
6. Offer templates pages that are greater than an A5 sheet of paper. Currently the space provided when using a 12 pt font is the equivalent of a A5 notepad with .25 inch margins. That's even less space to write in. And using Samsung Notes page/ templates on my Tab S7 + isn't helpful. And thus have resorted to creating my own "stationary" for my notes.
7. When I try to print pdfs that were imported as a pdf, the want to print as an image and not as pdf document. Don't know if that's a app issue (Epson) but I can't print my documents unless they're on some sort of "photo paper."
Love the improvements you've made so far! If anyone wants to chime in their shortcuts/ hacks for making it more efficient for note-taking, I'm open to it!
Can we use hover over translation feature on text from image, and text from shared screen online meeting?

This new features in the Notes App will be included in a update also for TabS6 and S10?
I wish I could do photo notes like on Note 4 where you could take a photo of a piece of paper or whiteboard and could edit it by rearranging the notes or erase some. Such a cool feature.
When will these updates come to the regular app available at the playstore? I have Galaxy Tab S Lite which comes with Samsung Notes pre-installed but I am yet to see these features.

The Samsung Notes app is fantastic, but the fact that it doesn't have a web version, making it cross-platform makes it impossible to use it as my default notes app. Unfortunately.

The only feature that I knew about the SPen was to write it on the screen or take notes...but this just blew my mind....now I think I might want to be part of the Note family..!!!

Are there plans to have a Google Assistant home speaker integration with Samsung Notes?
If I could use my voice to dictate text in Samsung Notes with my smart home Google Speakers throughout my home , this would become my only Notes tools.
Currently I use Google Keep and Any.Do since they do have an integration with the Google Assistant app.
hope it can add favorite pages within the file and font be smaller sizes and different styles 🙏🏻

Love the app, but, when viewing ALL notes, I no longer see a color tab to let one know if and/or to which folder each note has been assigned.

It would be nice if I could link my notes to a specific date and trun it into a diary
Is there a function-settings within the Samsung Notes in which I can change the find/search-mode from searching specific letters, to searching only the specific words in a note?
If I'm looking for a sentence within my notes, what comes up now is that every letter inside of that sentence is highlighted, making it difficult to scan through a long note in order to find what it is I'm looking for. Is there an option to change the specificity of the search-mode?

This sounds all verry gerat, but will this Update come too for the other for example in my chase Note 9 ? I am looking forward to by the Tab S6 lite for school, will Samsung Notes stay at it is or will it get an Update like it is shown here ? the Templates would be verry interesting
Another quick tip, if your phone is unlocked or locked, you can take out the S-pen. Hold on the button, and double tap the screen for a quick note. Been working since the Note 8.

The only thing missing is cross-platform. I really hope to use Samsung Notes as my only note app but I can't access my notes on PC or MAC.
is there going to be an update? Can you implement a feature that displays photos first in the icon for each note instead of whatever is at the top of the note? when you load up a note it delays for 1 to 2 seconds which is becoming very annoying. please help.

We're (Note 9) supposed to get the update within the next month or so.

Most of these features are available as long as you update to the latest version of Samsung Notes.

How do you create a template? It says we are supposed to be able to create one. Yet, I can't find information on how to do so anywhere. To have a feature that you can't use is frustrating.

By far the best Note Taking App. Please Samsung continue supporting this for the Note20. Otherwise I have to stick with the Note 9. It's such a great App. Using it since Note 2. I hope you listen to your loyal Fan Base.
You can also pull up notepad from any screen by holding the button down and double tapping the screen with the stylus.

Someone please help. I love my S6 Lite. Samsung notes helped eliminate a LOT of paper. Question: When I am taking notes in a meeting, I sometimes want to write a reminder note or other non-related (to the meeting) note. Is it possible to open a second instance? I might just buy another tablet!
