I'm not seeing the big deal in removing the back if you can't change the battery, I'd rather have the water/dust proofing.
The removable backplate reminded me of the old days when you could remove the battery of the phone when it stopped working 😄
Replaceable Components Please. I would Rather have to upgrade a Main board than buy a new one. Or just buy a Screen if it got damaged. or a camera. Phones have stopped shrinking so They cant use the "OH it has to be Sleek." excuse. We already have standards for these parts we can enforce and just have buildable phones.... As it is the main boards are all made by the same people same with the cameras and batteries its just tiny tweeks between brands to create these walled gardens.
And yet the repairability is not so great in this device.
Yet you can't remove the battery of this one. In fact, there's a note inside specifically saying you can not remove it or any other components yourself. All you can do is change the back of it. They lied about it being modular.
well that's pretty funny considering you can't do that on this piece of crap
@@sdg131 And its a POS for the price.
They knocked this one out of the park. If you won't buy one for the quirks, get it for the price to specs ratio. Best selling point imo.
Missing NFC though
The "quirks" are nothing original. Phone companies don't engage in this sort of thing because there is already a huge market of cheap gimmicks out there, and people enjoy the customization potential, so they won't pay extra for corporate design.
Price to specs? 6gb and dimensity 7300?

It's a state of null. Something from nothing seems funny until you compare that statement to the big bang. CMBR and many other forms of evidence prove that "something" from "nothing" is possible. You're the best explainer I've ever seen
Budget nothing? Yes
8:25 I almost started liking the phone, I really like the customisability, but really, the back plate comes off but you can't swap the battery yourself? It's a really weird and sad decision... It sounds like a really good phone, like one that I would buy for myself if my fairphone 3 would get irreparably damaged or something, but not being able to just swap the battery by myself is a huge compromise for me, like if you desingn a phone to be taken apart, then go the full route, not just halfway...

It's a well reviewed product from you! it felt like you didn't miss anything out - brilliant!

This actually made me *genuinely* hyped for a new phone, which hasn't happened in quite a few years. It's perfect timing too because I am on the lookout for a lower-range or mid-range Android phone right now, since the one I have has been starting to fall apart after about 6 years of use (it's a really friggin' great Huawei phone that I wish I could have forever, but alas, the time has come when the dead pixels and the destroyed camera lenses, etc, have been starting to bug me). Now I just have to find out if I can get my hands on this phone here in Norway!
don’t buy this shitty piece of plastic. It’s $250 for the phone itself and the other junk is added on top. Spare yourself the hassle and buy a second hand flagship or something like a OnePlus instead
i like the concept of removable back..at least it isnt boring boxy block at all
You'll never know what the beef in the comments was about 😜
No its nothing good
@@JohnDir-xw3hf So much accessories, medium quality and good budget phone...I'd say it's a steal
@@MrPlantGuy it depends upon price. The only good is removable back.
