The first nordic that Faris did was unreal... I don't know if people will appreciate how hard it is to do it that perfectly with that much control... Wow.
@@Lasher177your young I went from quarter nordics to full nordics 3 months later I haven’t trained them in a while but that full complete perfect form Nordic is achievable in at least 6 months and at most 1 year and 7 months
My sprinter has been doing the one-leggers (we call them raptors) with a 1-2 second pause at bottom. I like your way because it works on the transition better. I’m going to use both plus standard.
Dude he needs to be jumping and sprinting short distances more than he lifts speed is fast speed is speed it’s in the name faster movements transfer better either way Olympic lifts is the best it’s the middle between jumping and strength training my he needs to train his power production
Love to see you and @Brotherfaris together. Been learning a lot from you both individually. Can someone please explain to me what affect happens on your muscles/the movement when you hip is more in flexion vs extension? It seems to be the first thing to go when form starts breaking down. I presume it takes load off the hamstrings from a shorter lever and more hip involvement, but that's just a guess. Is it ok to do this variation as a regression if the full nordic with extended hips puts too intense of a load on the knees at first? Thank you Coach(es)!
I started with my feet under the couch but it wasn't enough to pull myself back up so I started loading up dumbbells with fat gripz and at one point I actually had about 10 lbs less than my body weight holding down each individual leg and even though it was hell on my ankles I was still able to use a plate but now because of the NordStick I now can comfortably do them in my squat rack
Random dude on the internet here, but I'd say 2-3 times a week would do ya good! I'd pick 1 or two to do after a proper warm up and before your Strength Block/Hypertrophy Block/etc...! Because of the Neural demands, I highly recommend putting them at the beginning of your workout. Put at least 2 minutes of rest between each set, especially if you're loading it properly. You wanna be fresh each set and go 100%....and I really mean ONE HUNDRED PERCENT each rep! I've been doing something similar with a program I got from the exceptional Will Ratelle and it's quite literally changed my life in a manner of months! Good luck, stranger!
i love the techniques. please how much weight should be used for the SINGLE LEG SQUAT and the SPLIT STANCE DEADLIFT for someone weighing 80-85kg. i have a small tournament currently on in my company and i want to increase my speed (in sprinting) thank you.
Box jumps, GHR, sled work and of course box squats (superior to pin squats, who pins squats??). Throw the T(tampon) bar in the trash. Straight bar or go home .
Yo I had a question for what you said about 50 explosive push ups and 25 pull ups a day. You stated that that’s all you really need if you add dips and handstand push ups so how many reps of those two do I need in all?
ahah..That's what I understood.from the recommendation of a "specialist" in a cap (cap)the main thing when doing the exercise is to say-"puff"?!(ахах..я так понял.из рекомендации "специалиста"в кепке(фуражке)главное при выполнении упражнения сказать--"пуфффф"?!

Olympic lifting is far too technical to teach and is in no way shape or form, preferred method for speed development.
You had it right with jumps

1. single leg deadlift
2. single leg back extension
3. boom boom squat
4. staggered stance
There’s 7
Amazing single leg squat technique. Slow eccentric for muscle growth, explosive concentric for speed.
GREAT CONTENT!
If you have smith machines and or SSB do split stance including front heel floating. Balance is nice but FORCE is WAY MORE IMPORTANT!!!

Awesome content. Faris is legit. Thank you 👍👍
#3 is great because it is a safe exercise!
There are no safe exercises, just correct, incorrect ways of doing them.
Grab straight bar deadlift and get better now !
really good stuff!!
Thank you!
awesome demo and really useful
