- First outing in the Peerless 911 (991.2) GTS Touring at Knockhill. Will we beat a 991.1 GT3? Featuring the return of Timur from Vehicle Villains and his fearsome GT3.

Your car is incredible, love hearing that engine sing. Plus it's great to see NA and a manual gearbox, a fine mix of old school and high tech.
Couldn't agree more however the car is Twin Turbo!

Love the video. Great content and editing. However, to compare cars, the very first thing is the tires have to be equal. What tire did each car have? And, you can tell these laps were seasons if not years apart. A cool day is going to be much faster than a warm/hot day. Looked like lots of fun.

@@peerlessscotland6308 not 100% sure yet, wouldn't mind a GT4 or possibly a mclaren. Not sure if it's the same where you are but used car prices are through the roof here lol
@@performance_engineering yes car prices have gone crazy across the UK. Stick it out as they should start coming down by the end of the year.

If it were PDK on the GTS, GT3 would have a hard time beating it.

What tires and mods were you running? Nice driving
How about getting an Ultima on the channel? I'd love to see how quick you could lap in one of those, you certainly know what you're doing behind the wheel. The Ultima destroyed all opposition road the Top Gear track and has numerous acceleration records too. I wonder if it would do the same to your fastest lap time?
Funny you mention that as I have a couple of friends with Ultima’s, one with a twin turbo and the other with highly tuned naturally aspirated version. We may indeed include these in an upcoming video…

Not a bad attempt for the first track day in the GTS. Hopefully I’ll manage to get into the 56s next session.

Thanks for the comment. There’s no doubt more time can be found in the PDK cars by comparison to manual.
Nice car but the time is 54.0 to beat on 991.1 platform ;)
Fair point. Managed that in a 991.1 RS, not in a standard GT3 though. What was your quickest time in your GT4 around KH?
@@peerlessscotland6308 It was a 56.1 on superlap scotland. Don;t think I could go much faster with a road alignment. Great car.
