Hi Dan. Very simple - from memory there is 1/2 Torx Screw fastening the valance to the bumper and numerous plastic clips. Requires some gentle manipulation to remove. The mod is reversible and OEM can be reinstalled.

Fair point. Managed that in a 991.1 RS, not in a standard GT3 though. What was your quickest time in your GT4 around KH?

Hi Billy. Thanks for the comment and congratulations on owning a truly fantastic car! The 991.2 GT3RS side skirts are even wider than those found on a 911 Turbo/Turbo S. I remember seeing a post on Rennlist about someone swapping side skirts from a Turbo S to the GT3RS ones. Regarding fitment, it’s relatively plug and play but not a direct fitment due to the body shape on the GTS not having the air scoops on the side of the car. Just be careful removing the plastic tabs that hold your current side skirts on the car in case you want to change back/sell. Additionally, you’ll need to run a small bead of Tiger Seal around the edge in front of the rear wheel as the fitment isn’t perfect. This gives an OEM looking finish once roughed up.

Front Splitter and rear carbon blades - no issue. Sideskirts needed some modification to fit.

Funny you mention that as I have a couple of friends with Ultima’s, one with a twin turbo and the other with highly tuned naturally aspirated version. We may indeed include these in an upcoming video…

@@performance_engineering yes car prices have gone crazy across the UK. Stick it out as they should start coming down by the end of the year.

The Exige 410 Sport was better to drive than the 718 Spyder on track however lacked a rear differential which in my opinion was the Achilles heel. The 911 GTS is all round the more enjoyable and capable car to drive on road and track.

I considered the Techart kit however it doesn’t appear you can buy individual parts rather the whole body kit which wasn’t the look I was going for.

These side skirts are genuine OEM from Porsche of a 991.2 GT3RS. I’d suggest contacting your local OPC/dealer parts department who will help. Cost is around $420. I’ll list part numbers below.

991.2 GT3 Manual is double the money - arguable if it’s two times better? Stock exhaust will be kept and all modifications are reversible once Porsche allocate me a 992 GT3 👀😂

@@leoleimgruber8148 I don’t disagree, GTS will never sound as good as a GT3 regardless of the exhaust mods.

It is possible to make the GTS sound close to a GT3! look for SecretWeapon exhaust, they are masters at making turbo engines sound like NA. You can also watch the video and listen here at the AvantGarde Performance & Maintenance channel.

Not to everyone’s taste agreed but fully reversible when the time comes to sell. You’ll definitely want to watch the next video if you don’t like turbo spool.

There’s an audible difference in sound, much deeper note to the standard PSE however depends on what you want to achieve. In the next video, we install Soul Bypass Pipes in addition to the Sharkwerks...I now have the loudest 991.2 in the UK 😂

I have a Sharkwerks unit on my GTS and all things considered I prefer it to the OEM unit but there is a drone zone between 2 & 3000 rpm you will need to come to terms with
