- Today I do a track review of the 992 GTS. Many people have done street reviews however since this is a 911, its true performance is achieved only on closed circuits. The GT3's take up much of the track content for 911's, however the GTS is a serious track weapon. It can do the daily driving work and weekend track days, making it one of the most versatile cars in Porsche's lineup. In this video I show how the car feels, handles, brakes and performs on track.

Good video and commentary. I have a heavily modded 992 S that I track and it’s a blast. I wouldn’t get too wrapped up about what is or isn’t a track 911. To each his own …

Have to disagree with people, I’ve tracked my 718 GTS….aside from its mild limp mode issue (that I got tuned out), I’m hoping the 911 GTS I have on order would be a track video. Nice video thanks!!

Z06 is about 2 seconds faster on this track more or less
Did you purchase track insurance? I priced it and it is keeping me and my new C2GTS off the track for now as I use my Mini Cooper S
No I didn’t but our local track doesn’t have any walls so there’s not much risk. I’ve spun off a few times and you just go onto the grass
I am a member at ECR but I have never been with a set of tires that weren’t worn out. I plan on going more this year.
Have you driven this car at MSR Cresson? If so what lap times are you running?
I haven’t driven this car at cresson but drove some other cars there. With cup 2’s and camber plates this is very close to a 991.2 gt3
Do you know how much of a difference the active aero makes? I have mine set to off, but can't confirm while driving.
Mine has the aero kit so there’s no active aero, since the wing is fixed
Looks like a great track car to me. Poseurs who don't own a 911 are likely the one's saying otherwise.
Have you looked into the ECU tune?
I have. The m Engineering and Cobb are the best. I’m just worried about warranty lol
Did you change brake pads? SRF Brake fluid? Stock Tires?
Stock pads. Using SRF fluid and Goodyear super sport R tires
Brother your video making skills are excellent …. But the problem is with your thumbnail … you should change the font of thumbnail because thats too basic and add more light and quality to thumbnail and i am sure the video will get more views …. Your video content is excellent… but you just need to work on thumbnail… keep it bro 👊

You need to comp apples to apples if comparing--awd, pdcc, ceramics, rwd, etc.
Can't compare with unequal variables.
I agree. The video is just to show that they are very close on the track despite the turbo being a lot more expensive and more horsepower. Porsche doesn’t sponsor me for these videos so I don’t have the choice to pick equally spec cars lol
