I've seen everything and am still excited to play the game. What bothers me is how the Vita's battery survived 30 years.
they have power so they could charge it
Not sure about 30 years but mine is almost 8 years old and still hold charge pretty well.
Bruh they literally showed a generator running when ellie sealed the door and Tommy village running generating power by water in part 1🤦♂️ and there other ways to collect electricity windmills/solar
Spoken like someone who's never played a Vita. Everyone knows the one good thing about the Vita is that its battery lasts for a fucking eternity lol.
@@oreed8 That wasn't his point. Eventually Li-Ion batteries can't hold a charge at all. Regardless of a civilization having electricity, after over 30 years you may figure that the Li-Ion battery would lost its ability to charge.
Considering that this girl likely found the Vita though, and that it could have been idle for a good amount of those 30 years it probably hasn't reached its max charge/ discharge amount.
I love how when characters die it looks so unbelievable real the way they fall and how the shot impacts how they will fall depending on the weapon or ammunition type. That's insane detail.
the way people die in MK11 and Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures is also extremely real and I love it

The reason for the knife kills is because shes not as strong as joel, she cant choke out and punch people she HAS to use the knife
I can 100% see naughty dog doing even bigger open area games in the future. They presented this like it was an open world game and I loved every second of it!
Seeing the skills and gun upgrade trees, i wouldn't be surprised if their next game was an open world RPG, that would be so nice!

I played the main game over 5 times but never beat the dlc. I’ll make sure to replay the main game and dlc before part 2 comes out
Playing the DLC is a good way to refresh your memory about the style of the game and the story.

I keep watching this gameplay, over and over. It’s amazing. Watch the first kill in the gameplay section at 0.25x speed ;) Detail is off the rails.
I know that Naughty Dog excels at linear and “open-linear” games, but I’d love to see their take on an open-world game.
They did Jak and Daxter 1,2, and 3. They have obviously changed as a company and people have come and gone since then. Rumors are they are doing a sci-fi game next.
miloandot Those games were open linear, and I loved them. I’m hoping whatever Sci-fi game is in the works is an open-world RPG or something along that basis.

Does anyone else wonder if she managed to keep her secret from everyone for all that time? Because in the shots we've seen of ellie her arm with the bite mark is totally uncovered with a tattoo on the forearm part now. We see a few shots of that same arm shake from what we think is her rage of the "tragic event" that happened. What if its possible that maybe she's not at immune as we think? maybe it's catching up to her? it's fun to theorize. I can't wait to find out the whole story in a few weeks.

The animations are great. I like the taking the backpack off and going through it mechanic. The transitions from action to action look super smooth too.
That bit where she shoots the arrow and you see it explode for a fraction of a second gives me C H I L L S

The spoilers made me more excited. Ive never had to do that sort of thing in a game so it is pretty epic imo.
Gameplay, A.I., level design, mo-cap, voice acting, cinematography, sound design, animation, immersion, brutality, atmosphere, graphics, etc are all going to be top notch here. This is going to be Naughty Dog's best game ever from what I can see. I see there are issues with the story and characters, but aside from that this will be game of the generation material right here.

I'm personally less convinced. The gameplay of the first one was fairly mediocre. The only thing honestly that made the game memorable was the story.
@@Kyt2024 I disagree... The gameplay was great, in fact, while this gameplay looks better it also looks faster. The first game have a slowest gameplay who fit perfectly in the story... We will see if this one does the same...

Its twice the size of the first game. So around 30 hours. Probably a lot longer if you try to get to every place in thos bigger areas. They will also be things that you can completely miss in your first playthrough

On one hand the gameplay looks amazing.
On the other hand this pretty much confirms the story leaks.
All I hope is that the context and execution of the story is handled properly. Because regardless of how bad the leaks sound on paper, if it's done well I'm sure many people won't be mad. Or at least I hope.
Exactly my thoughts... Execution is the key. First game has a basic main plot, but the execution is the closest thing to perfection.
