Xanoft 1011 I tore through the game in about 4 days.. and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.. I don’t know where it will end up on my favorite games of all time list.. it could be #1 when all is said and done. I love the original but I think I enjoyed this more.

I'm glad they chose to talk alittle bit about the gameplay. All everyone talks about is the story. I think the Gameplay mixed with the amazing graphics and detail really make this game something special. It is a true step up from the 1st game. - Being able to Prone now - Adding the rope mechanics - Adding a dodge button like Dark Souls - The new enemies (Stalkers, Rat Kings, Super Bloaters, Shamblers, etc.) - Adding Hunting Dogs to track you via smell, etc. ...I was truly impressed with gameplay. The graphics, voice acting, facial animations, new mechanics, and attention to the little details really make this game something special. The story wasn't the absolute best I've ever played in a game, but it was by no means a horrible story in anyway. Taking everything into consideration I would give this game a 9 out of 10. All aspects of the game are above average except the story (Which is still good, just not exceptional).
The gameplay and the exploration were amazing. Even with all the so-called battle rooms, every single encounter felt unique that I was never bored. Spent 32 hrs on my first survivor playthrough
they only added one new enemy type and that was shamblers. Stalkers are in the first games dlc and you wouldn't count the rat king as a new enemy type cause theres only one and he's a boss.
David Clayton why did there have to be more enemy types. For me the stalkers were far improved from the first game. The stalkers who melded into the wall made perfect sense. Shamblers were more grown Bloaters. I didn’t need them to go overboard and honestly the human enemies are way more interesting anyways. I was more scared of the serophites than any infected battle outside of the rat king which scared the shit out of me haha
@@gorzio666 Stalkers are the enemies that you cannot detect in listen mode. They hide and stalk you, instead of you stalking them. That was not in the 1st game. New enemies are - - Stalkers - Shamblers - Dogs - Super Bloaters - Rat Kings (Regardless how many of these there are, they were NEW to this game, we can't ignore that) Plus all the new human enemy types. The Seraphites, The Rattlers, The WLF, etc. ...My point is for you to say there is only 1 new enemy type is super misleading. There are a bunch, on top of new environments, new mechanics, new tools, new abilities, etc. My original post was just pretty much saying story aside, everything else in the game was indeed a true step up from THOU1.

I looked on Reddit, didn't see a post. I looked in all the comments on Instagram on the Photoshop challenge winners and after 3 days of searching I was finally smart enough to look in the KF/AF Playlist and finally read the title of this video until the last word. PS, I love Nick
I don't remember when was the last time I CRIED of laughter on any KF content. This is going to be downloaded and put into my cellphone to have it always with me. This is pure gold
Okay so spoiler When you have the final fight ellie does not have her bracelet but when she goes back home she's wearing her bracelet - hasn't got any of her weapons and goes back essentially for her guitar but. This shows the acceptance of the grief of Joel leaving the guitar behind as a way of moving forward. She has a glimpse of home and I hope this is right where she's going back to Jackson to live happily with Dina and JJ
Am I the only one who is surprised and weirdly impressed by Nick's in depth knowledge of Star Trek. Almost as surprised to find out he's one of the few KF crew who've read TLOTR.
Once you get to the end of season one, oh boy: let's go. It's been my favorite series for half the decade and I like most of you, have VERY high standards.

Got better when it stoped doing the stupid episodic genius serial killer of the week shtick. How many genius serial killers are there? The first killer should have been stretched to a few episodes. would have had more resonance also because Will is haunted by that guy throughout.
@@esinach gotta disagree. Hannibal is the one series where I wouldn't change anything. The "killer of the week" style of the 1st 9 episodes was necessary to create the 2nd season's turning it on its head. The show "tricks" you into thinking it is a procedural crime drama, but then reveals that each killer is pushing Hannibal and Will's relationship forward and explores a mindset that contrasts with at least one character (for example Jack's realization of the cancer because of the angel maker).
I have been saying it everywhere, the game is a masterpiece! One of the best games ever! I will defend this game till the day I die! Grtz from Belgium.
Well I couldn't get that far. I started NG+ and just about made it to Jackson, almost cracked when Joel and Tommy part, then just before Joel goes in and gives Ellie the guitar I immediately had to turn it off. Too soon. And it's weird because I had a real sense of sadness and loss when I finished the game and wanted more of these characters.
This was fucking PURE GOLD! We all know KF/AF makes things perfect. Great work as always nothing but love guys ❤️ Edit: The pictures in background 😭😭😭😭😭.

Almost two weeks since I platinumed and I’m still thinking so hard about this game, that’s how great the narrative was and I just love hearing any and every video talking about it or reacting to it that isn’t just bigotry or bland takes on the story.
I want to play through LTOU2 a third time. But a part of me wants to savoir the experience.. Like I never platinumed the first game because I didn't want to butcher it by finishing it 10 times. I'm so glad to see its selling well.. I loved reading the articles about it not doing well in Japan.. People seem to forget Uncharted 4 didn't do well at all in Japan either (Only selling a little under 150k from launch till now). And the big reason why there's extra physical copies in stores is due to c19, people are just buying it on PSN.
