    You have a wonderful voice for yoga, so clear and precise and calming, but with a twinkle! I like these exercises very much as I get issues with my hips and knees and this sequence is helping a lot.

    Hello Olga, I love this video, I do it a few times a week. Do you have any recommendations and one of your videos that might better address my tight left TFL and Glute medius?

    Hi Olga, I only recently realised how weak my abductors are and how tight my adductors are. Your website is fantastic and gives such a great foundation for these videos, thank you for sharing

    Whoah, my left leg was shaking so violently at 41:15. I hope that is weakness leaving the body lol. Gonna do this for a few weeks as my adductors and abductors or very unbalanced. Thank you for making this video.

    Hi Olga. I love your videos and do them all the time. This one and the piriformis one are my favorites.
    The pose at 14:39 is very difficult for me. I walk funny after and feel it for some time after. What muscle is it working? I would like to know to further strengthen it.
    Thank you :)

    • @sequencewizvideo
      @sequencewizvideo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lorena, thank you for your comment! The pose at 14:39 works the QL (quadratus lumborum), the infamous "hip hiker" muscle. I have another video that targets that particular area ( th-cam.com/video/_dMX-m65uag/w-d-xo.html), but be careful not to overdo it. QL regulates the symmetrical position of the pelvis, so you might want to examine your sitting or walking habits if it feels so sore - are you in a habit of tucking one foot under when you sit? Or holding weight on one leg when you stand? It helps to find the culprit for the discomfort to be more effective in dealing with it. Here is more info about the muscle, if you are curios: sequencewiz.org/2014/05/21/dance-way-hip-pain-ql-tension/ Hope this helps!

    It all began when my left hip started hurting as i walked. I thought i had some kind of hip bursitis. Then the sharp pain went away but both of my hips felt so sore and it hurt so much to sit and even sleep. I stumbled with your page and i just want to thank you so so much because i did these exercises and my hips feel so good right now. I guess I'll start doing some of these stretches before exercising. Do you know if that pain is related in some kind with squatting? Or is it just because (i'm assuming) i stretch wrongly? Anyways, thank you very much i really appreciate your work!

      Hi Flo - so happy to hear that your hips are feeling better! It's really hard to say what the reason for that pain was - there are many things that can go wrong. When I work with folks I usually ask a bunch of questions and have them do all sorts of movements to help me understand what's happening. But if you find something that help you feel better consistently - awesome! Also try to notice what seems to aggravate it. Once you begin to do your own exploration you will get a much better idea of what's happening in your body.

      Hey Olga, thank you for replying! For some reason the bound angle pose where you're supposed to keep your legs as low as you can make my left hip hurt afterwards. I still don't understand why.

    Finally I found something that makes me feel good, You are beautiful Olga :) could weakness in the abductors/adductors cause pain in the lumborium? As I'm trying to fix that, Thanks!

    • @sequencewizvideo
      @sequencewizvideo  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Omar Al Matar (Bewinxed) Thank you Omar! Do you mean quadratus lumborum ( a muscle above the rim of the pelvis) or labrum (the outer cartilage of the hip joint?)?

    • @OmarAlMatar
      @OmarAlMatar 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for replying! I was meaning lumborum!

    Olga. You send me an email- I think.... or I read it somewhere about if I was tight for time, which of the parts of this practice I should focus on- if I can't do it all. I can't find the email or the comments. Can you repost or resend please. Thanks
