What blows the mind is, why would you pay $300- $1000+ for a Damn phone. It's a phone. No matter what you pay, almost all phones today can take a picture, record a video, play music, watch videos, even play games and connects you to every social media platform.
Well, for the spoiled children of the world, of course, they must have the biggest, most expensive phones or your reputation takes a punch to the kidney. Most concerning is the fact that cell phones and the dumb asses using them just took over the top of the list in drivers deaths. Yep, it beat drunk driving.
Not sure why they haven't come out with a body implant phone. Walking down any street across the planet, you will see some jagoff step off a curb and get hit by a vehicle because they are always looking down. Chiropractors are making a huge comeback thanks to cell phones.

I am contemplating buying one of these to integrate with an Amazon Echo/Alexa, but some Alexa features require Android 5.0. I've read other reviews that indicate the hardware would support Lollipop, but does anyone know if there's an easy OS upgrade path available?

+Kevin Breeze Well I don't know about the 5 inch one but the 6 inch phone have no back button on it and if you have it in your pocket it can break easy. And also when ever I made a call the person on the other end could not make out what I was saying all that good.

The chief purpose of a phone is to make phone calls. You do not review the quality of the phone calls, stability of phone connections, if the volume is loud enough, etc. If any of these are lacking, why buy it? It is the most important feature and it is not covered here.

Good point, David. Once, I bought a used phone and I could not hear the person with whom I was speaking, even at top volume.
David Cook i have this exact phone, and the calls are pretty good. Typing is slow though and the keyboard freezes. That may just be my phone being weird though
How much memory did it have free out of the box?

It is slow and sucks, i bought polaroid 5" to test something, it get me mad until i want to smash it against the wall. WELL if you want a phone just to call out and send messages you better go for "keypad one" such as Nokia 3310 .. but smartphone !!!! better you think again if you want to buy bellow $300 one. THEY ARE NOT SMART AT ALL

Sure this phone is $80, but there are Android phones which are much better deal for $100 .(for example DOOGEE X6 pro, or valancia 2 Y100 pro with 2GB of ram, 5.5" lcd screen, 1280x720 resolution). Or slightly more money will get you a powerhouse like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (5.5" 1080p screen 13MP/5MP camera Helio X10 processor SD card, finger sensor, aluminum unibody, 4000mah battery). This phone beats iphone 6s in geekbench multi-core test, and also battery endurance as well.
