@@Mrwhosetheboss how can you have the time to respond to these small comments i swear you're like one of the busiest people ever yet still got the time to do this.kudos
As someone who works at a Walmart and sells a lot of prepaid phones, the A03, A13, and now the A14 are easily some of the most popular phones. The A03 can be bought for about $50, which makes it easily the best phone you can buy at that price point in the store. (Quick note, the iPhone SE 2 is also a big seller, cause you can get it for $150 on 2 different prepaid carriers, so that's pretty cheap for an iPhone).
@@Ben21756 It doesn’t work for those people. Arun clearly stated that people don’t keep these phones long and it’s absolutely true. I can assure you people are back buying a new phone within a year cause the phone is so slow they already come loaded with bloatware. You get what you pay for is deff true.
I work at one of the major carriers. The A14 is free with no down payment for everyone basically. The A03 is free with a couple months service up front on prepaid. And they're a brand that people know
I had an A40 back in 2019, passed it down to my brother and that phone is being actively used since 5 years and not a single thing broke on it. It's still going strong.
One of the best things I did was stop buying flagship phones. For the first time ever, I bought a midrange phone, the Samsung A52S. It does everything I need and more, battery lasts longer than most flagships and I bought the phone outright rather than having a monthly bill
This exactly, I had big plans to invest in a flagship iPhone for the first time in my life, but life happened and suddenly I could no longer afford to. Went with the Galaxy A13 (was only $60 through Boost Mobile at the time) and realized I genuinely have no legitimate reason to spend well over 10x that price for a fancy S series phone. The A13 does everything I need it to do and more, and battery life is spectacular. I eventually had to upgrade to the A14 because my A13 fell into some pickle juice at work and shorted out, it's basically the exact same phone with a better screen, I don't think they updated anything else besides the software. The only downside I've found thus far to these budget phones from a fairly light user like myself (mostly just use a phone for texting, calls, music, youtube, and basic internet browsing) is the cameras; they're pretty crap. Decent enough shots if you have good lighting; i.e. a nice sunny day outdoors, but the camera on the A13 and A14 might as well not even exist at nighttime or in a dimly lit room. I've never been a big picture taker unless I'm on vacation, so I can deal with it, but that is literally the only thing that could push me to spend so much more on a higher end phone.
nah its just sthat mid range phones are as good as flagships from 2 years ago now instead of 3...and phones already peaked years ago so there's no need for anything more.
I bought an older flagship (Samsung S20 FE) and it was well worth the money. The IPD Rating, NFC, 120Hz, 5G, and better build quality was really nice when buying in 2021. I used to mostly get budget and midrange phones and while good, I would aim for an older flagship if it was close in price.
Came to say this. This is one of the most informative videos on the smartphone market I've seen recently. Most other tech reviewers only focus on iPhones and the US market, and pretend there's nothing beyond the S Ultra Samsungs and the Pixels.
not true, I was bored the entire video and he brought nothing new, all theses factors that he listed are well known. A13 or 14 are ugly and bad, if someone wants to buy one of the A series, he has to go for A52s or higher or A71 or higher. A14 best selling my A.S.S!
I own an A series phone i.e. Galaxy A71, which is from 2020 but still works flawless!!! I'm very happy from Samsung and kudos to Arun for covering this underrated series.❤
i still have my a71 just incase but still a grate phone its just was. damged and was not worth the repair cost i got the a53 and s23+ as my daily drivers now
former a51 user, it works well, laggier than the phone i use rn (iphone xr, ik i downgraded) but cameras are very good but samsung sometimes edits it too much
I bought a refurbished A12 nearly three years ago and a cheap case off ebay. It was what I could afford at the time. Phones aren't cheap, especially if you are on a low budget, and I won't have something on credit. However, a smart phone is a necessity in the western world now, so I'm glad there are affordable options out there that can do what is needed! I'm looking at upgrading to a fold phone this year, as I really want a bigger screen. However, again, I'll be looking at something refurbished as that's what my budget is. There's nothing wrong with buying a phone that doesn't get you into debt and does what what you need it to do.
Why do you need a larger screen? Just get a cheap phone for 60$ used, and then buy a tablet for 120$. Best of both worlds. Tablets out there are pretty cheap these days if you look around. Can't beat the 8-10 inch screens either.
@leaperrins8373 understandable. And yeah, if you don't carry a bag of some sort bringing a tablet is a pain, I usually do so its not an issue. Something you. Can stick in your pocket is easier then.
I have an A13, and when it was released, Samsung did little effort to keep the design language similar across the A and S series. It's really great to see them try to keep everything consistent since the A14 looks pretty nice.
Was that after getting the battery replaced 3-4 times in that timeline? As I couldn't imagine being able to deal with worse battery life in my oneplus 11 after 4 years which at that point the battery health will be down to 80%.
@@MrMega200 I still use an S5 I brought second hand a number of years ago. Spent ~ $10 US on a replacement battery a couple of years back and it still does a couple of days before needing a recharge. Being an S5, it's a simple job to remove the aftermarket ~$5 US protective case, pop the back off and swap out what's needed ;P And being in the trades, it's had many falls from height onto concrete. Still goes just fine.
@@MrMega200cope against me you mfs. My Galaxy A3 2017 is 7 years old *and I never replace its battery* because its battery is non-removable, yet it's still running smoothly, its battery even still fine, even I can still watch youtube, editing videos on it despite stuck on android 8.0. That's why I trust Samsung.
@@muhammadrizqanilmi1301 I sold off my Samsung because it was a piece of sh!t. It had half the battery life compared to new(recharging it two times a day), slow as hell, and not to mention the lines coming and going on the screen. I never treated it improperly and it was never used hard. I used it for about 3 years until I needed a new phone that wasn't crap. Your trust is frankly misplaced.
The difference between budget and high end phones 5-7 years ago was massive. Its either overall quality has improved so much you can't really tell, or the difference isn't as big as it used to be. Obviously it loses out in performance but it's still solid for the majority of people.
When comparing these Samsung models from one another, it really gets down to splitting hairs. The differences are subtle, almost not there, and yet these are far superior to models from four years ago.
I got the iPhone X five years ago, and I haven't felt the need to upgrade until now. Now, flagship iPhones cost twice as much. Don't see how that's justifiable, when most upgrades are negligible and unnecessary.
Yeah, as someone who doesn't heavily game on their phone, I've had an almost perfect experience on my A52 running at a constant 120hz. The only time I've had slowdowns or crashes is on large Google Sheets. Which is very unfortunate but my laptop also can't handle those especially well either, so I can't heavily criticize a budget phone for that.
As someone who works in phone sales in the us, the A14 5G is one of the easiest phones to recommend to customers who want android and don’t want to spend and arm and a leg. They’re our go-to phone and it’s less than $10 a month to finance!
As someone that works in phone sales in Europe, i always recommend a13/a14 rather than a13 5g/a14 5g. I dont like scamming my customers with worse phone for more money. You lose hardware and pay more for "5g" and the only benefit of the "5g" is that you lose 20% more battery.
Genuinely the only channel I consistently watch every single video for, as well as being the only one I fully trust when it comes to reviews and recommendations.
I bought my mum an a72 in 2021 and twas the best decision I made for both of us. She prefers it over her previous S series for many reasons, including the massive battery. I know it's probably closer to the S series than the A series mentioned in this video but it still counts! Was going to get my dad an A53 (he prefers smaller compact phones)last year but he decided to go ahead and get an a13 which vastly prefers over his s6. As long as he's happy eh? 😅
Everytime Arun is talking and giving an advanced explanation about something. i always start to nod my head to show that i'm listening , agreeing and paying attention to the things he says. (without me realising) he is the only youtuber that gives me the feeling that he is personaly talking to me. while other youtubers give me the feeling they are talking to a camera and are behind a screen. i think thats interesting of how natural he comes off. i must give him credit for that.
@@pingpong1727 that's something completely different. Its when you feel attached to a celebrity and think you know him/her personally. On a creepy obsessed way. I'm not like that.

10:35 is the hidden gem of this video. I considered these bits of hardware to be essential points of differentiation between Samsung/Android phones and Apple phones, and their slow omission from Flagship phones annoyed me to no end. No one has explained it as clearly and succinctly as you did here, and for that you 100% earned my like and subscription!
Yeah, my two options for "decent" headphone jacks with a good DAC are at this point... wait for it... the Sony Xperia, for a thousand dollars, or the A14 for free on Google Fi with the current promo. I know which one I'm choosing!
yeah. I noticed this a while back too and annoys me too the bone. Not going to buy a flagship anymore, knowing that I'm a cow to them that needs to be milked. but options are becoming limited. ...
I know this is an 8 month old video and I'm commenting very late. But I marked this video for re-watch because I know how much information you share in these type of videos. I own a Samsung Galaxy A04 and for the most part I am satisfied with it. I am a college student and I don’t play games so I don’t need a particularly demanding phone, and camera feels more than enough for my day to day photos. So yeah I don’t fear being on the extreme 😂
Glad to see you talking about the A series. I'm from South Africa and the Galaxy A series is the most popular smartphone and pretty much an overall great phone for standard users
@@Rob__James it's tough🥲. Doesn't go as much though, usually 2 hours a day and we're used to it at this point. I think I'll follow to wherever you are soon 😂
I work for a phone carrier in the US and the A13, A14 & A03S are big sellers because majority of the time are always on promotions, like if you activate a line you can get one for free or are massively discounted. The sad part is that when people complain about these phones, it’s always due to user error
"you can get one for free" You mean you MANIPULATE people into thinking it's free. Tell me you don't know what free means without telling me you don't know what free means. 😂😂😂
@@PSYCHOV3N0M to help you, I've subscribed to a telco plan for years now ever since I'm still a kid and just like 3 4 years back I came to notice that the plan now offers free phone. And this samsung A series is of the options to get freely where I don't have to add my subscription and even if I pick lesser subs, I can still get the phone without incurring any extra expenses.
I use an A52S for work, love it. When people ask my advice on android phones especially back home in Jamaica I always recommend they check out the A series. There’s a model in that series to meet different needs
I'm using galaxy a04s for studying, for taking pictures, for watching videos, for working with documents and many many other things. It's an amazing phone and the battery life is the best thing about it. And many small nice things like 90hz, 3.5mm jack, microsd support, nfc, fingerprint scanner and etc. is just amazing considering how cheap it is.
I used to have the A71 and now I have the A52s and I love both of them. Pretty cool phones afortable, no bugs, no problems, the camera and the screen in both are phenomenal! Good battery life and have extended memory with an micro SD card is pretty useful! They are like mini computers at the palm of my hand! And they are at a price that I can afford to upgrade easier and more often than a flagship phone
I have an A52s as well and it doesn't disappoint considering its price. I used to think that having the "bestest" phone was an absolute necessity, but now I learned that an affordable mid-range phone is enough to satisfy. I overestimated how much I actually use my phone and for what purpose. And I later realised that there is no need for a $1000 phone just to watch youtube, scroll reddit, and play some games.
Smartphones have advanced to the point that for 1/10th the price you can buy a new phone that's comparable to a flagship from two years ago. Your aunt doesn't want or need 4K 60FPS for Facebook.
I would be interested in seeing an A15 video from you seeing that samsung is now promising up to 4 years of software updates and seemingly the full one ui suite
I literally bought a Galaxy A14 5G last week. I did this for one reason, and that's the absolutely massive battery life. I'm a very tech-oriented person, but the one feature that matters to me over any other is the battery. It's why I use an Amazfit watch instead of a Samsung watch. The battery matters, and the lower processing power of devices such as these results in less battery anxiety over the day. I can still get the same basic things done such as messaging and web browsing, but I can do it for longer.
Same😂. Had a A21s and an Amazfit GTS2 mini, then upgraded to the S20FE and the Galaxy Watch 4. The A21s lasted 1.5 days easily, the S20 FE and my current S22 last just a day. The Amazfit Watch lasted 1 week upwards, my Galaxy Watch never lasted more than 2 days.
Wow thank you for sharing. Me too. I've spent the last month researching my next phone and battery is paramount for me. I currently have an S8 Active and if it weren't for network changes here in Australia I would happily use this phone for ever! Never let me down. Phenomenal battery life. Tough as. True workhorse. I always buy a rugged case for my phones but never considered the A series. Will look into this model. Peace.
I had an a series phone couple years ago before it was stolen. The main point is also that the phone is lightweight. I was able to carry it everywhere without issues, and also do light gaming to pass the time. The phone was astonishingly light.
I work at Cricket Wireless, a cell service in the US. We specialize in low/mid-range devices, and the A14 5g has been one of our best selling phones since it released. It's a really solid device.
Well, that was a surprise to me, not only did I get the review of the phone I recently purchased but a masterclass on marketing and consumer behavior! Thank you for the time you put into making this video.
Yeah, being a user of the A14 5G, from the day of its launch, I can genuinely say that it is a truly worth the cash, complete package. The experience is neat, haptics worth the price, and the camera- truly great for a phone costing 18K INR! I am into photography as a hobby, and I just love the camera!! The video is also fine, the FHD 30FPS just works great. Now these are my reviews after having tried other brands like MI and Oppo. The A14 is just so complete overall. 🙂
I think the ability to talk about something no one else would have otherwise cared about is a skill set within itself. It's that transition from being a channel that people go to for specific content to a channel we go to to see YOU talk about a variety of topics.
I have had the Galaxy A13 for 5 months now and I can say it is amazing and will meet most people's needs the only downside is the lack of camera options like slo mo, time laps and frame by frame scrolling the camera quality is great though and the storage is perfect 9/10
It works far better than the flagship phones that I've owned. The purchase of the Samsung A13 5g was an emergency, and the only decent phone for sale in an out of the way place. The camera works extremely well in a low light setting, superb macro, and the connection sensitivity is very good. For years I was sold on LG flagships, leaving Apple phones because of the battery debacle. Selling 80 million Samsung A series - astounding!
I'm on my fourth year with a Samsung Galaxy A50, and it's been great. The only issue is the battery is now barely enough for 5 hours of active use, but that's expected from an almost 4 year old phone. Still enough performance for everything i do, still getting updates and still holding up even after several hard falls. In fact my experience was so great, i've managed to convince 6 people in my family to go with samsung's budget/midrange phones, including two hardcore iphone fans.
@Zaydan Alfariz Really wasn't an issue for me personally. My gf has an A52, and had an A71 before that, other family members have two A51s, an A13, an A03. And while A03 and A13 are the phones you get when thats's what you can afford, by the time you get to the A50 series, an average person will get all they need, and the processor won't even matter. All the cool and flashy stuff, new tech, etc. happens above our budget for a new phone anyway, and if you just want to get a phone for daily use - youtube, instagram, chats, occasional Hill Climb Racing session and some pdf viewing - the truth is, if you buy the latest A50 series entry, it will satisfy all those needs and you don't even need to know whats's inside of it.
@@dude_with_a_knife6836 The A00 series does all those things very well too. The only downside they have to the the other A series is processing speed and camera quality.
I think you should start a series where you unbox an affordable smartphone from each company such as Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Samsung, Motorola, Vivo, Infinix, Tecno, Iqoo, Poco, and find the best one...
As a over the phone service salesman, been selling a crap ton of these things at work we even lowered the price to welcome in the A 15 5g and they're both selling like crazy! A15 is a ridiculously good value proposition! I couldn't have imagined a phone at this level back when I was buying refurbished Lg phones!

Mrwhosetheboss, you truly have a holistic approach to sharing information about tech. Detail without boredom, visuals without cheapness, and just the right pacing for your videos. Always great stuff. 🤘
Absolutely spot on, I have the A13 5G model, the main reason for buying this was the 3yr software update, NFC and price (ZAR4700). I could've got the A24 or A34 but getting those meant that all I got extra was the 10W faster on charging speeds, OneUi instead of OneUi Core and the AMOLED screen but also meaning that I would've spent ZAR 2000 to ZAR 4000 more on getting that and an additional 2k just on accessories. It really is just about what you need and what you're willing to spend. There's no need to grab the latest flagship but end up not knowing how to use half of the features or just using it for plain old daily calls, text and social media.
How has it been watching content on the phone? I'm due for an upgrade and I wanted the A34 but it doesn't have a headphone jack and I can't afford those kinds of things. The A24 reviews have me worried though.
@@cwaicwai821You can buy the dongle that makes the usb c port a 3.5mm jack, it's cheap and you can let it attached to the headphones you use with your phone, i bought it for 3 usd. The dongle it's really flexible and durable so no problems with twisting or anything. EDIT: the a34 it's an exellent midrange phone, it's so much better than the a24, the difference is really massive.
I completely understand the appeal. I use the A13 (last year's model in the series) as my work phone and I bought two extras for my kids. It's cheap, it can run Roblox fine (important aspect for the kids), has decent cameras and has a big battery. My only complaint is the screen is blurry when scrolling. Aside from that, it's a bargain.
This is quite simply one of the best explanation videos on the Samsung smartphones I've seen. From the price structure to the breakdown of the processing difference this was an excellent video. I would have personally liked to have replaced my Note 10 + with an A series phone as I'm fed up of the prices on the premium S series, but I prefer wireless charging, so I may have to wait for the S FE versions 😉
Got the S20 FE about 18 months ago.. when you are on a budget but still want to get a better phone, it works perfectly. I know it will still work for a couple of years. And I do a lot of from phone working..
@Kath Ro i own 20fe too but i regret not waiting for the A series. The phone is kinda laggy if you play games for more than an hour sometimes. And i couldn't find a slim case for it.
I also have the S 20 FE, but I regret getting it in 2022. The Processor is not the best, the Battery is not that good anymore and the Update support ends next year. I really hope the S 23 FE comes and gets Upgrades in charging Speed, Camera.
I'd love a video on the A34. I actually think that's more of the sweet spot. It's a bit more expensive. But you get AMOLED, 90hz with a much better set of camera and better performance.
I'm still on the more than 4 year old galaxy A50 I bought at launch, still works very well. Looks more or less modern, the cameras could be better, the battery is slowly decreasing in size, it's gotten a bit slow, but still somehow lasts a full day of 4.5h of screen on time with a very high brightness. Plus, there are no ads and no sponsored apps since it uses the real OneUI. Just got a software update like 2 weeks ago. For the 300€ I paid more than 4 year ago, it was a great investment.
@@namankhandelwal3938 better battery life, SD card slot, better Bluetooth and it's newer. Of course the S21FE also has its advantages like a better camera
To whom ever this may interest The A15 4G DOES NOT have screen recording out of the box! Samsung thought it was a good idea to include this very basic feature ONLY on the more expensive 5G model (costs around 80$) more... Now some people may say, its irrelevant cause you can download an App to do it. NO, its not that simple, the Apps you download dont record se same as the native app, especially over calls or video calls where the sound will be totally muted for everyone in the 3rd party Apps.
It's great that you are talking about these phones because I think most tech-channels forget about them when they are actually more popular than the flagships. I use a Galaxy A52 and I bought it as soon as it came out for like 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. - UPDATE: Thanks for all the likes
@@asanka2507 I accidentally drowned my A52 5G couple times and it's doing fine. Sometimes it gets laggy but maybe a reset would help it. Haven't done it since I bought it almost 2 years ago
It's nice to see the "less popular" phones getting appreciation 😄 Almost my entire family uses the a series. (The A10 is the only one that I think is the weakest of the bunch tho 😅)
I wish they would stop making these ugly phones and instead, continue to sell the fe series as the new budget phones, Apple doesn't do any of what samsung does, and it's still a way bigger company.
@@deadgoldenheart9560 Battery on flagships are mostly always horrible. He shows in this video itself, iPhone is on 50% and the a12 is at 80. All FE phones also have bad battery..
Tbh pretty much every phone in the Galaxy-A series is absolute bang for the buck considering how good Samsung's software support is compared to other brands. Even for the higher-end A54, you're basically getting a somewhat trimmed down S23 for literally less than half the price. Watch Flossy Carter's review to see just how close the A54 is to the flagship S23.
Not at all. Samsung's heavy UI plus an Exynos chip is a recipe for disaster. The only ones even worth considering are the ones available with a Qualcomm chip but even those phones are still inferior to the competition.
I've got a Samsung A04 (64GB ROM and 4GB RAM, Copper color) variant. When I made the initialization, I was extra careful what to tick on and off as I know Samsung's way to recover money with those apps and things. Overall, the phone is awesome. Not only it's powerful enough to play anything on it at over 30 fps stable, but it also provides a fairly big screen and storage to use for productivity and photography. In the video the phone is specified to be 129$, I bought it new for around 140$ half an year ago (probably since I'm in EU it's slightly more expensive). Althought, for other phones you would have to pay almost twice as much as the MSRP of this Samsung A04 just have the same specs. Samsung always was my phone to pick when in need of one, fairly priced, durable and cheap to fix in case something happens.
I also have an A04s. Really good phone, can play most games I care about (openwork or shooters) and I got mine expanded storage and it still cost less than yours, prolly caus I'm not in EU. I can use it for editing and other stuff. Really good phone.
I have the A03s. I also have an A54. I'm starting to like the A03s very much. It doesn't suffer from the relentless One UI updates of the A54, which frequently produce network problems that I must resolve by resetting network settings and which seem to produce no practical benefits. Tonight I did some night photography with the A03s; I was expecting it to flop entirely. I was shocked - despite the absence of "night mode", it did a nice job on still photos and an even better job on videos. My A03s was $150 and the A54 was $450. It strikes me that I'd probably be perfectly happy if both were the A03s.

I really like how the videos are engaging and try to teach you as much as possible, I feel like this is something I could show to my grandparents (who don't know anything about tech) and they would understand it
I work at a carrier store in the US, we sell the A14 every single day because of constant promotions that make the price essentially free to the customer, not to mention that customers with middling credit can finance a more affordable phone with no issues, but financing a flagship phone would give them substantial down payments that they wouldn't be able to afford. Also, most people don't NEED the latest and greatest, they just need something to browse their social media apps and make calls, and the A14 does that perfectly fine.
The people who can't afford a new phone are dumb for financing even budget phones on credit. I can't comprehend how stupid the average person is. I run a successful small business in the tech sector & I still use a Galaxy S7 I bought new in 2016. I am the stereotypical person who "needs" the latest & greatest yet I'm perfectly happy with the performance of a 7 year old device. The only reason I will upgrade is when Google makes a smaller Pixel device so I can run GrapheneOS for better privacy & security.
Minus the features, what sold it for me was the design. It looked so slick and expensive. Samsung really knows how to sell a phone. Got my A14 a few days ago, and I'm loving every bit of it

It's a MASSIVE leap from the A13 in design. The A13 was practically unusable without a case, curvy sides and a slippery gloss back panel made it one of the most uncomfortable phones to hold that I've ever used, it was absolutely miserable until I got a case. The A14 however, is awesome, squared off 90 degree angles, matte finish, perfectly flat on the front and back, and feels very comfortable and sturdy in the hand, unlike the A13 which literally felt like trying to hold on to a bar of soap.
I still have my Samsung A12 and it still works great battery as well. In my country the currency conversion for flagship phones are ridiculous. The latest iPhone pro is the same price as a motorbike for example. So this A12 was the best bang for my buck.
I'm currently looking to replace my A71 after 4+ years due to broken screen, but I'm just not sure what to get from Samsung, everything is more expensive than my current phone with worse hardware 😮💨
Almost a year ago now, my mom switched phones, to ann A53. I recommended it to her, because I thought that it was great value for the money, and it IS pretty sweet. And also, I got an A series ad in the middle of the video. Talk about timing. 😆
I would’ve gone for an older flagship for the same or a slightly higher price tbh, or go for an even more powerful flagship refurbished from a reputable company but depends on what you need
@@Bjix I agree cause Old Flagship is actually better in some cases, but you've just need to be more careful if the phone or other parts is still original.

Samsung's A20 series are really underrated! I am currently using a A21s which was bought almost 2-3 yrs ago, and its still working really good, especially with my Rough use.

The loses is much, on me also, I wanna try to move on Over a month $50,000 was liquidated and I don't really know which pattern or stretegy go try right now because all I know and have learnt have been used yet no possitive results
I think that is a brilliant idea, I tried managing my stock portfolio by myself and I lost 50% of my savings in a very short period. That prompted me to hire a financial advisor. Since then I have made up to $680K in returns.
This is pretty challenging, and I'm not happy to see this because all I have been seeing is are good comments about how good the market is but not seen people posting their personal experiences of new startup
A very educative video. I was actually at a tech store in Scandinavia and several people were asking about the A13 and the A14, some about the S23. The store had actually run out of the A34. Crazy
I got the A34 5G for £100 as a work phone, said refurbished but feels brand new. Absolutely amazing phone for the price, I have an iphine 14 pro as my personal phone but have no problem switching between them as the budget phone is still perfectly capable of any task.
I want the best success for Arun and his team because I know they spend hours making this extremely entertaining videos that hook me all the way to the end and has me scrolling through the channel and sometimes rewatching some of my favorite videos. alright here is the comment related to the video: My dad has an A22 its really similar to the phone you are showing in this video but its slightly older I think. it has a slightly different back camera but almost the complete same phone even the packaging is the same. my family is pretty poor and we cant afford that much tech and the budget phones make things a tad bit easier on us
Hey Arun. I use the A12 model. I was initially a Note 10 user. When my note was damaged by water, i needed to get myself a phone for work. The A12 was cheap and looked good for a few month till I get myself the next flagship. However, here we go, 2 years down the road, I'm still using the A12. The battery life is amazing and alright to watch YT and Tiktok😂😂
I really like the design of the bezels in these latest budget smartphones. They're not too big or slim and frame the screen very nicely. Also gives you something to hold onto when keeping your phone sideways. The camera and screen are more than decent, battery life is amazing. You get the headphone jack and dual-sim plus expandable storage as well as a fast fingerprint sensor. I personally like the look and durability of rounded corners as well as a plastic back which additionally is less slippery lighter weight than glass. Today, these phones actually outcompete flagships in a lot of ways.
Just upgraded an A12 for a family member (to A34); they're great phones, good battery life, light, reliable and if you're not bothered about design and trendiness, they're brilliant daily drivers and cheap to run and upgrade. I think these phones are a sort of 'the second cheapest wine' in a restaurant.
I have the iPhone 13 mini and A71. I use my A71 for calls, work, note taking and of course, emails. But my iPhone is my daily driver for social media, photos, and gaming. The differences are so vast, from processor speed to battery life. A71 has lasted me a good while too and I love that thing for practical uses but the iPhone is tailor built for me because of its size. It’s really too bad it’s the last mini rendition of the iPhone. Small People Lives Matter too!! 😅
as someone who has been using an a14, i can say your point about longevity is 100% right. not even a year in, the fingerprint sensor has stopped working, the speakers stopped working a month in, and the back of the phone can fall off
been using the a52s 5G since it came out and it has been a super solid phone, quite durable, decently powerful, has amazing battery life, HEADPHONE JACK!, and a really nice screen. i dont plan to upgrade for awhile.
I just bought the a14 last saturday. I had a M20 before - a phone 5 Years old. I needed a new phone because it will not get any security updates anymore. Battery is just fine, keeps up to 2 days easily. I found out that i dont need a flagship phone, as long as my current phone has a good battery, nfc for payment use, GPS -thats it. I'll use it as a cheap option for my "car entertaining system"....
Also worth saying Samsung often have sales and do offers for things like student or workplace discounts, so you can get them even cheaper than shown at 4:40
I made the switch somewhat recently from my iPhone 6s to my A72, mainly because I wanted to keep my headphone jack but also have the ability to put in an SD card, because that was my main dilemma with my iphones, 5SE (2016) & 6s, I kept running out of storage 😅 and also I gre tired of Apple slowing down there older devices that I just quit it completely. ♡ So far, I am very pleased with my A72. 😊 it takes such pretty photos, & I really like how much quicker it is than my last phones 😅 ♡ I just had to get used to the size since it's a big leap to go from basically the older iphone 5SE 2016 to a Samsung A72 😅
For me, my A72 was getting slow and lagging even if I opened a folder of my apps or swiped the notification panel down, I’ve had it for about 4 years and its update support has almost ended. The camera ended up being glitchy with all those features baked into it, and inaccurate because it made my face lighter. Was too big for my hands as well, so I now have an iPhone. Apple doesn’t slow down their devices anymore after the lawsuit.
I worked at a phone carrier and these things just sold themselves. Their looks and feel is definitely what catches attention. I personally believe it’s a much better phone for it’s price compared to a lot of the other trashy options.
I literally bought the exact same phone yesterday, and I am looking at this video today. A14 is actually amazing to use, and it's a great phone for overall budget users. I vouch it.

My phone is A52 and I have it for almost 3 years now and I can say that it still feels brand new
nah its just sthat mid range phones are as good as flagships from 2 years ago now instead of 3...and phones already peaked years ago so there's no need for anything more.

Phones are cheap if you get a job and save money
Why do you need a larger screen? Just get a cheap phone for 60$ used, and then buy a tablet for 120$. Best of both worlds. Tablets out there are pretty cheap these days if you look around. Can't beat the 8-10 inch screens either.

You're the goat. The longest I've had a phone was 3 years , the Kyeocera Hydo, and that thing took a beating before jumping out of my bathroom window.
The differences are subtle, almost not there, and yet these are far superior to models from four years ago.
same with GPUs
I got the iPhone X five years ago, and I haven't felt the need to upgrade until now.
Now, flagship iPhones cost twice as much. Don't see how that's justifiable, when most upgrades are negligible and unnecessary.
Yeah, as someone who doesn't heavily game on their phone, I've had an almost perfect experience on my A52 running at a constant 120hz. The only time I've had slowdowns or crashes is on large Google Sheets. I literally bought a Galaxy A14 5G last week. I did this for one reason, and that's the absolutely massive battery life. I'm a very tech-oriented person, but the one feature that matters to me over any other is the battery. It's why I use an Amazfit watch instead of a Samsung watch.
A52s uses a 778G btw
Me too! But I can definitely feel it has slowed down and the battery drains a lot faster than before, but that's to be expected.
Really
He actually have some videos talk about it
As a over the phone service salesman, been selling a crap ton of these things at work we even lowered the price to welcome in the A 15 5g and they're both selling like crazy!

Oh yeah. Samsung does market the A series a lot in South Africa.
eyy fellow South African! How has the A13 been for you? I wanna get a cheaper phone but I also don't want it to die on me in like a year.
@@jakobn2913 I think the new FE could be right up there with specification and speed etc. But it may pit itself against the A series? 🤔

I'd love a video on the A34. I actually think that's more of the sweet spot. It's a bit more expensive. But you get AMOLED, 90hz with a much better set of camera and better performance.
I own an A33 and i think too that the 30 series is a sweet spot. I don't need the features of the A50 series but you get the normal OneUI (not Core)
For the 300€ I paid more than 4 year ago, it was a great investment.
why will one buy Samsung A34 as S21FE is selling for the same price bracket on Samsung website.

The A15 4G DOES NOT have screen recording out of the box!

But a54 compared to the competition it's really lacking unless you want a samsung
Let’s compare it to s21fe. It loses on the spot.
S21fe is an ‘s’ tier phone. It gets more features and is still less expensive than a54
@@Blackfatrat i paid £185 for a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, it was Refurbished
@@sauravchhabra840 pricing of a54 is so hopeless

The only reason I will upgrade is when Google makes a smaller Pixel device so I can run GrapheneOS for better privacy & security.
how often do you sell Motorola phones? They seem to have constant promotions as well.
