When I lived in China, many fake were terrible. Some were close to indistinguishable from the original. About 5 years ago, a friend told me he not an s7 for about 150 dollars. I borrowed it and checked numerous tells to find out if it was a fake. Almost all the internals were the same as the original. The only tells were that it was slightly heavier than it should be, the price and the font on one of the settings.
Were they decent internals like the chipset or was it all just garbage and it was just made to look the same

If wish just sold them as no brand smartphones and not clones I might even buy one as a backup. Though in the UK I’ve never had something not arrive from Wish from the couple of times I bought something. Seems it’s the US/Canada that has issues due to customs being stricter.
Well, Wish DOES sell them as "no brand" smartphones. There is no branding on the listing, the packaging OR the phones themselves.

Haha! Those powerbank capacitys are hillarius! But I have got 2 that worked quite well. One with a solar panel and dual usb for charging and one with wireless charging + a single usb. And the last one also had both micro and usb C for charging it. For the small price it works just fine.
And I also got some ear buds that was pretty good for around 8 USD. But the next ones I got for a friend was crap so.. I was lucky I guess🤷♂️😅
I would buy dozens of these 25$ phones just to feel the satisfaction of taking off the screen and back glass protector

there's a few of them, that at 30 bucks, as long as they will hook up to a service you gotta be amazed at what they manage to cram in there. Considering what other smartphone makers claim is the cost for some of these 'features', if it's 30 bucks, looks even remotely like a 600 dollar phone, and actually functions at all, it's kind of impressive. Of course, you didn't go that deep into any of them. Wonder which ones work.

It really doesn't. "Real" phones have development budgets that have to be paid for, so the ratio of their manufacturing cost to final price is negligible. You're paying for the R&D. These are base components and stolen software, maybe faked software on a surface level. That's particularly true for camera technology. And he didn't go into all the BS about the Wish phones' storage or connectivity speed. Those were probably advertising 4GLTE or 5G, and actually 3G.
The newest thousand dollar phones are overpriced in a sense - it's really the early adopter price tag - but all the "real" phone makers have $200 models that are a far, far better value than anything here.

Some of these phones literally have a debug menu where you can change the rated storage capacity.
You also have to remember that you're likely getting a much slower processor inside of them and god knows what else is hidden in the software. They also may not be Google certified so you run the risk of the Google apps breaking randomly.

Don't. The clone phones come with hidden key tracking software installed on the kernel. A seller then broke into my Wish account and added new delivery addresses and tried to buy better phones with my credit card. Lucky he failed and Wish refunded me the dodgey knockoff I bought.
get from a different website, or for phones a A05 or a cheap budget phone from a few years ago. If you have a higher budget and want a flagship, samsung's 2/3 year old flagships loose a lot of value. A s21 or a s20 would be a lot cheaper now
