This one always brings a tear to my eyes as well. So, you are not the only one it has that effect on. Another reactor was saying the same thing just the other day. BAND-MAID just has that effect on people. "Chills up my spine!" "Brings tears to my eyes!" "I just got Goosebumps!" I hear it all the time. And when was the last time a band had that effect on people? For another good Call & Response "Battle" between MISA and Kanami check out 'Take Me Higher' LIVE. Love your response to this band. They are truly special and I too have almost been moved to tears just by their immense talent and the sheer joy they obviously play with. I only discovered them about 2 months ago and I'm still like a 13 year old in the throes of Beatlemania with them.
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!!! This is one of my top 5 favorite Band-Maid songs. Especially this Live version. I enjoyed watching Misa vs Kanami conversation when Band-Maid played here in LA in 2018. It still give me chills every time I see this video. Moratorium, Play, Puzzle, Onset, Take Me Higher, Dice are a few songs you need to hear ;)
I got chills, goosebumps, and tears when I first heard Band Maid and now I get them when I see someone else having the same reaction that I had. You know it's good music when it causes such an emotional response even though you may not even understand the lyrics. I love these ladies.
What gets me is they’re so humble no big rockstar arrogance just a bunch of silly cute girls.

Well, they're the best hard rock band out there...or ever been! In this one you can hear that Saiki's voice were tired, but she worked hard and pulled it through. What an amazing band this is!
Nice Reaction as always. This is one of my favorite songs along with YOLO, DOMINATION & NON-FICTION DAYS. One always forget about KANAMI's Guitar skills and fills / Riffs which i believe structures every song with a Great Bass and Drums from Misa & Akane. This is one BAND that has awed me to the level when i first Heard Metallica's Master of Puppets & Ride the Lightning in the 80's and Nirvana's Nevermind in 1990. 🙌🤟👍

I'm not really into reaction videos, but in the past week or so, I went down a rabbit hole and checked BAND-MAID reactions by dozens of TH-camrs, because seeing the surprise and amazement at these improbable super-talents just doesn't get old.
Part of it is re-living my own amazement at discovering them. This happened a few days after Christmas 2019, when I already discovered Ningen Isu, and found a video in which the latter's lead guitarist did a mock guitar battle with Kanami of BAND-MAID, and she alone without the band already blew me away completely. But what I enjoy most is reactions of macho metalheads like you: there is always a moment (usually at a guitar solo) when the initial dismissal just melts away, to be replaced by total amazement, developing into full-on devotion after a few videos.

I was just today trying to find that battle but no luck. I only find reaction videos about that. Really been lucking forward to making video about that and really would like to see it...sounds funny and interesting.
@@JohiPlays Sadly, I have to confirm that the original uploads I saw back in December (it was in two parts) have been taken down, apparently a copyright strike. So you can only watch it in those reaction videos... It's not a "serious" guitar battle but typical Japanese TV silliness, but the two guitarists clearly enjoyed themselves riffing away.

Listen to the song a few more times until you get to the point where you can pull your attention away from the bass and guitar, have a listen to what Akane is doing on the drums while the other two are killing it .... It's a whole other lesson in how to 'quietly' kill it ... It should make you really cry!! ;-)
I went on their merchandise web site and just about every thing was sold out they advertised on IG. I was disappointed all the Misa t-shirts were sold out. I'll be checking back again soon hopefully they will get restocked. Hopefully these ladies will revitalize Rock again. Can't get enough Band-Maid.

Helsinki was their first leg in Eeurope of the World Domination Tour in 2018.
Kanami, the leading guitarist and the composer of the most songs in the last few years, lost the track of her PRS on her way during Sheremetyevo transit from San Francisco. So, she had to use the vintage PRS rented locally instead.
Her tweet explains the situation with the guitar photo. Well, Prof. Google's translation from Japanese to Finnish seems OK except one phrase "お給仕(Okyuuji)" which means live concert in Band-Maid's dictionary. 😁 Toivottavasti löydät mielenkiintoisen;

If a person who stopped playing a musical instrument watches a band maid's live concert, he seems to want to resume for some reason.
I had this exact same reaction. Pulled out the guitar and started taking lessons and hunting gear.
I played guitar throughout high school and college... most bands I played with always wanted to do covers and it was hard to push other musicians to write music or take a chance. I lost my desire to play or even go to concerts in my mid 20s. I had not picked up my guitar in almost 7 years. I started listening to Band-Maid and they renewed my desire to play for some reason. They are very inspiring.

Miku at beginning of video being the crazy maid she is and insisting crowd scream louder is nice. You can check out other songs from that stage on TH-cam by just typing "Band Maid Finland". But I thought you would want to react to them first later. Hope you get a chance to see them someday soon.
