Miku sings either high or low harmony, depending on what they decide the song requires. Sometimes they want to feature Saiki's low and growly power, so Miku sings high and sweet. Other times Saiki is up around the top of her range and Miku is almost conversational with her accompaniment, like in this song. And that's not always a hard and fast rule...sometimes it's high and higher, etc. Depends on what they want to convey for each song.
That intro :D Gotta say, that I find Miku so underrated! I know, she commands the spotlight off the stage, but doesn't get it on stage, because her rhytm guitar doesn't stand out, and she is surrounded by these phenomenal musicians! When she isn't there, you notice it immediately, as the songs seem "weaker". And her voice is also overlooked, because she is usually "just" the backup/harmony to a great singer in Saiki. But she is a really good singer on the tracks, where she gets to shine (most prominently in Rock in me and Beauty and the beast, but also the 2nd verse on Thrill) Best wishes both of you, and seriously Troop should get in to this - we can show him so many great bands, that he has never heard of :)

In the most recent live performance of Choose Me from Line Cube Shibuya, she uses 3 different ranges- the Froggy, the Miku, and also an impressively high harmony during Saiki’s spoken part. Regarding the 'conversation' that takes place mid way through the song between the Lead Guitar and the Bass Guitar an often overlooked element of this is the 'heartbeat' drumming of Kanami that sets the atmosphere just perfectly.
