there's definitely something about the band. was relistening to all their older stuff last night.. 1st album was very much closer to pop rock.. but it's in the way that they perform the songs. they're just filled with some kind of earnest energy.. and i'm addicted to it. the drumming and vocals are a huge factor for me

This was the first video l saw from Band-Maid. At the time it did not impress me a lot except for the fact you couldn't help but realize the potential of the Holy trinity of MISA, Kanami and Akane. And it did peak my interest when l came across Alone a few days later. That was the very first single written, arranged and performed in its entirety by the band. And it hooked me. Since Alone 98% of their music is their music. And since seeing them live in LA last year my love and respect has grown by leaps and bounds. Kobato-Tono = Lennon-McCartney? Not quite yet but l say give them a minute. The potential is more than apparent. Regards from Sacramento where we love Band-Maid.

But one thing is very apparent when Band-Maid gets compared to anyone (and they really shouldn't be) is the huge amount of output over a given time. Band-Maid has recorded close to 95 songs depending upon how you want to count them in less than seven years. That amount of quality output over the same time frame has only been done twice before by bands 1963-1970 Beatles and Rolling Stones. And only by two solo acts Bob Dylan and Neil Young. This alone puts Band-Maid in very rare company. I have been digging that guitarist in Asterism as well. She has a great style. Best regards my friend.

Lovebites are incredibly! All my old rockers are put to shame by these japanese warlocks. Beatles is my oldest rockers. Rolling Stones is NOT my cup of tea so to speak nor Neal Young. Rock on further bro! 🙂
