This song is neither band's regular style really, it's a collab after all. Something to keep in mind is both are rock bands instead of metal bands, B-M more proggy whose sweet spot is around the 150-160 bpm range, The Warning a power trio who are more straight ahead in style. Both bands are riff machines. Both bands are also usually best viewed live IMO.
I believe the same can be said about Saiki (Band-Maid's primary vocalist). Almost makes me wonder why both don't just sing an octave lower, where they are both comfortable, until I look at the lyrics.
Dani from the warning normally sings in a lower register. This track was co-written by both bands so there are elements of both group's sounds. Also all the members of both group gets their own turn at a small solo. Ale, MISA, Dani, Kanami, Akane and then Pau. Miku (Vocal/rhythm guitar) is the centre of the sonic stage supporting both the vocal melody and the back beat with her guitar.
The Warning’s original viral video was playing Enter Sandman 10 years ago, when they were quite young…even got a thumbs up from Kirk. 4 albums later, they are rocking hard and touring. 🤘🔥#NumberlyGarfs
You've GOT to check these two bands out separate to get their styles. They are both fantastic. For The Warning, the best introduction is "Evolve" live at the 2023 MTV VMAs. For Band-Maid, check out "Hate?" Official live video. Both The Warning Army and the Madiacs will be along shortly. Trust me.

@@HeadbangersGuildGreat reaction! Love your perspective and understanding of the instrumentation. Yes, both bands need and deserve further attention. They both do things very differently to this but are both very versatile and talented. The Maids are their own genre and think you can say the same about The Warning after their newest album. The song was a complete collaboration between the two bands. It started with Kanami, Band-Maid lead guitarist and primary composer, creating the rough demo and sending to The Warning. Kanami likes to challenge herself and the other musicians when she composes. She loves Dany’s high octave singing so she wrote it in a higher key to emphasize Dany’s incredible vocal capabilities. Saiki (psyche) had to challenge herself to hit those higher notes but nails it imho. Band-Maid recorded their Instrumental parts first. The Warning recorded theirs when they came to Tokyo in June. Both bands played a two-band show in Tokyo where they played the song at the end of the show with all 8 members playing together on stage. Note: someone leaked a phone recording of the performance online but ofc it lacks audio and video quality to really appreciate the song. Miku Kobato wrote the initial lyrics but The Warning members and Kobato made adjustments when they met in Tokyo in early June to record The Warning’s parts. There’s a great interview with Billboard Magazine - Japan they did where you can read more about the true collaboration. The band members really fed off each other on the song and it shows. www.billboard.com/music/music-news/band-maid-the-warning-interview-show-them-1235748142/ Imho, it’s a great classic rock style song with great drive and lyrics. All the vocals and instrumentation is outstanding. I particularly love the guitar work Kanami, Dany and Miku play - some really great guitar parts - aggressive yet some real subtle melodies by Kanami (as usual with her). MUST see both of these bands LIVE! 🔥 Next from BAND-MAID - “Hate?” - official live video. - “Don’t You TELL Me” - official live video - “Domination” - official live video Next from The Warning ‼️? - “Automatic Sun” - official live video - “Hell You Call a Dream” - OLV - “Enter Sandman” (cover) - OLV The Warning were asked by Metallica to do this cover! Enjoy the journey!! Take care and Rock On! 🤘🏼🔥🎸🎸🥁🎤🌏🎼🇯🇵🇲🇽⛩️😎✌🏼
If you want to see what The Warning can do check out 'Evolve' LIVE at the MTV Music Awards. And, if you want to see what BAND-MAID can do check out, 'Hate?' LIVE from the Yokohama Arena 10th Anniversary Tour finale.
No surprise this song is a vehicle to allow 2 talented, stylistically different bands to coexist in one song. I consider The Warning to be a hard rock type band, full of passion, and energy. Band Maid is more like musicians from different genres getting together to do hard rock. Both bands are deserving of further listens.
The Warning is composed of 3 bilingual sisters from Mexico (ages 24,22,19) who write and sing mostly in English. As a collaboration it represents a compromise in styles, and I expect fans of both bands would say that while the song is good, it isn’t better than each band’s original catalogs. The Warning blends classic hard rock, heavy metal, punk and alternative/grunge into their own unique style. Recommend Evolve from 2023 MTV VMAs or Automatic Sun official MV from P’al Norte festival. 👍😎
Perfect collab song 💥 Two amazing bands enjoyin’ playing together. Dream come true-moment for me 🔥❤️ Kanami( lead guitar Band-Maid) wrote this song and She is always made some challenges to others, this time She made up both singers sing different octave than usually
There's so much that can be said about The Warning and their massive impact on the international music scene. But since you are learning more about the Maids, here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid: Welcome, H-Bang. You are embarking on (along with many others - over 200 million views just on their official YT channel, plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom. Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular! Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen! Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!! Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more! Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party! MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. My friend: you need to see The Warning/LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This collab between the two bands screams "GIRL POWER!" They both may be the new "Power Couple" in rock. There are calls among their fans for more collabs between the two (maybe even a tour). Collabs are notoriously hard to do between bands with different styles, but the ladies NAILED IT! Kudos to them and their production crews.
Music composed by Kanami Tono (lead g) and lyrics by Miku Kobato (rhythm g, purple hair) with inputs from The Warning member (lyrics credit is both to Miku and The Warning). Band-Maid is a hard rock band from Japan formed in 2013. Check out their song "Hate?" Official LIVE.
I see some of the Band-Maid Maidiacs and some of The Warning Army have already been by to fill you in and give you a few suggestions. I'll not add to the pile, other than to add another voice to the chorus saying, "YES! check out more of The Warning, and more of Band-Maid!" They're both *awesome* :) This is a good "teaser-course" for the two bands, but I'd not say it's really indicative of either of them: it's a definite collaboration, where both bands bent toward each other, and worked to blend effectively, which I think they accomplished very well. They each have their own distinctive styles, and are both very much worth the time to listen to further.
@@HeadbangersGuild one thing i will definitely say about both bands is that they are both in that rare class of artists that are always better *live.* when you have the choice of something studio or something pro-shot live for any of their songs, do yourself the favor of *always* choosing live :)
Band-Maid is almost a genre unto itself. Their last two releases, "Bestie" and "Show Them", are collaborations. "Bestie" was co-written with Mike Einziger from Incubus and is a softer, poppier song than you usually hear from Band-Maid. They ran into Mike a Point Fest last year. Band-Maid and The Warning met at the Aftershock Festival several years ago, promising to do 'something' together at that time. That finally happened this year when Band-Maid opened for The Warning when they toured Japan and they recorded "Show Them" and shot the video together. Oddly enough, Band-Maid's song "Warning" is pretty representative of their typical music. Band-Maid's 'Official Live' videos are generally a touch better than their studio recordings: Band-Maid is a dish best served LIVE. And don't ignore their instrumentals. Band-Maid songs I like: Puzzle (Tokyo garden Theater) I'll From Now On Moratorium Cross Manners (Day of the Maid) + Black Hole (this shows their range and their refusal to conform to genre) Giovanni Daydreaming After Life Unleash!!!!! (Anime/live action MV) Hate? (Yokohama Arena) Don't You Tell ME (Yokohama Arena)
Yes, both bands are totally outstanding, in totally different ways, even if both are hard rock. The Warning is very catchy. Its a power trio with three sisters and they write very good songs. They are also very young. Started when they were 10-ish. BAND-MAID is much more complex and has a very diverse catalogue. They have three exquisite musicians in Kanami/guitar, Akane/drums and MISA/bass. Both bands are generally best live, but BAND-MAID have some instrumentals that are best as MV, as they better shows the instrumental skills. Both bands are also kind of sisterhoods. They really have fun together. And ... now they have found each other and are mutual fans.
Band-Maid have well over 100 songs in their catalogue, and they play everything from Classic Rock, Hard rock, Prog, Rock, Punk, Metal, and everything in between. Any of their songs are worth checking out, but they are definitely best experienced live. Pick any song, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
I would agree that you should check out more from both bands. With Band-Maid you might like Rinne MV, Moratorium, Warning MV, Dice MV, Black hole, Hate?, From Now On (instrumental) or heck anything :). Thanks for the reaction.
Welcome to Band Maid and the Warning. Yes, this song is quite anthemish 😅 and not very typical for both bands. Both are quite different from each other: The warning is straight power rock(?) and Band Maid more focused on complex varied compositions: They met at a festival once and became fans of each other. For a pure Band Maid song I suggest to try "Moratorium" live or "Play" live or "Real Existence" live or .... 😅 (I don't recommend "Hate" as others may do, but that's a matter of taste😮) I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much. My favourite is currently "Corallium", but here is just a quite random selection of songs: For some very special LIVE videos try "Freedom", "Corallium", "Play", "Real Existence" and Endless Story. With "Moratorium" (Live at Zepp), "Rinne" (MV) and "Dice" you can hear more hard rock while more catchy songs are "Choose me" (MV) and "Alone" (MV). But don't miss some of their instrumentals like "From now on" (MV) and "Onset" (Live). And finally a very special mind blowing live performance is "Manners/Blackhole" (Official Online Live). At least these songs are needed to get the full story of Band Maid! And there is more: For example their ballads, the songs with Miku in lead, their christmas acoustic concert and the 'cover band' Band-Maiko ;-) They have rock, pop punk, funk, jazz, prog and more elements in their repertoire! Have fun... Po 🕊️
From your Metallica t-shirt, you've probably heard of the Blacklist album. The Warning reimagined Enter Sandman which garnered them the opening track on the album. Metallica said, keep the lyrics - do whatever else you want. TW took a classic hard rock/metal song and turned it to a haunting rock song. Check out Enter Sandman from The Warning Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert and then check out EVOVLE from 2023 MTV VMA awards. Thw Warning is hard rock including many sub-genres into their music. Sharks is their heaviest song. Enjoy!
65 years old here. I have been waiting for 20 years for a band like this to come around. I catch myself watching video after video of them. Do some Warning reactions. Recommend Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMA. Also Choke, Z, Disciple, Survive, Dust to Dust, Sharks, and many more. I think you should do the live version of these.
I first discovered The Warning a few months ago and was totally hooked after 2 songs. I would suggest Evolve at the MTV VMA's to hear more of Dany's lead vocals, she is the lead singer and guitarist. All three of the sisters sing, but Dany usually does the lead vocals but Pau the drummer also has multiple songs where she sings lead, like Dust To Dust or 23 at the Teatro Metropolitan concert from 2022. Also, Animosity from that concert is great. You can also check out Hell You Call A Dream at the Pepsi Center or Automatic Sun at the Pal Norte festival which are two songs off their new album.
From The Warnings brand-new album "Keep me Fed" try HELL YOU CALL A DREAM LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX or AUTOMATIC SUN LIVE AT TECATE PA'L NORTE FESTIVAL (STUDIO VERSION) hang on you're about to be amazed by 3 sisters from Mexico "You have been Warned"🤘🎶
Yes, you would benefit from some HATE? (LIVE), via BAND-MAID. They aren't metal, but they can go very hard. They do a lot of things. If you want a hard-going music video, consider "Different", by BAND-MAID. Also, I get to seen HANABIE and Jinjer live next month (together!). Life is good!
As you mentioned, it's a great song, but it's a collaboration and a blend of both bands. But you definitely need to watch each band on their own. Their styles are very different. And then you will be even more amazed on how they put this together. It's funny as there are some Maidiacs who says it sounds like a The Warning song. And then you some of The Warning Army, who says it sounds like a Band-Maid song. As a fan of both bands, I have to say it really doesn't sound like either band but a good mix. A little bit of this...a little bit of that...from both bands. Rock on with both. I would suggest "Hate?" Live from their 10th Anniversary Tour Finale at Yokohama Arena for Band-Maid. "Evolve" Live from the MTV Awards. Live performance often offers the best listening experience for both of these bands. Much like Lovebites and Baby Metal. 🤘😆🤘

They decided to become rock stars because of the game 'Rock Band' which their parents gave them when Dany was about 8, Pau 6, and Ale was still to small to play, at 3 years old so she'd dance and clap while her two big sisters played. Dany picked guitar, Pau picked drums and they stuck with them. Their Dad saw how amazing Pau was with the drums and the next week he bought her a full-size kit and put her into lessons at the age of 6. When Ale got big enough (about 7) she decided she wanted to play the bass. They now have some of their own songs featured in Rock Band 4. They have been 'The Warning' for just over 10 years. They gained notoriety when they posted a cover of Enter Sandman on TH-cam which went viral. They were 14, 12 and 9 at the time. th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html Metallica saw the video, spurring Kirk Hammett to say, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" (again, Pau was 12 years old at the time and already played it as good a Lars). They were since invited by Metallica to do a complete remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, for the 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, 'The Blacklist Album'. The only rule was 'Don't change the lyrics'. They rearranged, recorded and mastered the new version in just over a week, working remotely with Alessia in Canada, and The Warning in Mexico due to the pandemic. It is the first song on the album. Dany is a PRS Ambassador Pau is sponsored by DW and Sabian, and won Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year, 2023 Ale became a Spector Signature Artist when she was about 16. She designed her signature 5-string with Spector, and Spector sells 'Ale's Inferno' which is modeled after her 5-string they designed together: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/NS5XLAI--spector-usa-ns-5xl-bass-guitar-ales-inferno They stopped doing covers around 2015 when they produced their first original EP 'Escape The Mind', and only write original music. have 2 EPs and 4 albums. Their first EP and first two albums were crowd-funded as an indie band - MANY of the people commenting here were contributors. One of the albums is considered a masterpiece of work, called 'Queen of the Murder Scene' - a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness, and we can say the story does not end well for her. That was released in 2018. Dany was 18, Pau - 16, Ale - 13. The girls posted VLOGS explaining their creative process and the songs. They signed with Lava Records (Republic) in 2020, and have since produced one EP and two albums with the latest, 'Keep Me Fed' being released on June 28, 2024, They toured with Band-Maid earlier this year when they did the 'Show Them' collaboration together in Japan. They've opened for 3 Days Grace, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Muse, Guns & Roses, and have played multiple festivals. They have about 30 shows planned through the rest of 2024, including a headline US Tour, supporting Halestorm in Canada (and maybe some headlines there as well?) Their superpower is LIVE. The concert from 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan is considered their 'gold standard' concert. Every song is amazing and the mix comes directly out of the equipment so the sound is spot-on with very little crowd noise.
There is quite a bit of overlap between the fan bases of these two bands. They got together in Japan this past summer and wrote/recorded this collab. I expect there will be Madiacs coming along, but on behalf of The Warning fans Welcome to The Warning. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With four studio albums, several live concert videos, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records. This three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as many of us fans, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s TH-cam page you might choose from: - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel - The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish) - 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance of Hell You Call A Dream - CHOKE, ANIMOSITY, Dust to Dust, 23, or any other song from their 2022 show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk There are really no bad choices. They are something special live-I think it is their super power. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and Mexico, and just got home from three shows in the UK and Ireland. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled for like this in more than 45 years of concert going was Rush. Since you are old school metalhead like many of us The Warning fans, you might find it interesting that The Warning have a wonderful relationship with Metallica’s Enter Sandman. 1) They did this video cover in their basement when they were 14, 12, and 9 that their father uploaded to TH-cam for the grandparents to see. 25M+ views later.... 2) Metallica invited Alessia Cara to participate in the Blacklist 30th Anniversary album during COVID. The international management agency that represents both Alessia and The Warning asked Metallica if both groups could be brought together for this project. The two groups wrote (Alessia in Canada, The Warning in Mexico), recorded, and produced an entirely new version of Sandman in only ten days that ended up being the lead track on Metallica’s anniversary album. The official music video for that is a great second video. 3) The Warning then did their Sandman version at a 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City (aka CDMX). This live performance is epic. Several reactors have done these back to back in the same reaction video and been blown away. By your reactions so far, i think you might really enjoy this.
All that and it's their music is still Boring as Phuch,! Metallica (although multi -Millionaires) have'nt been musically relevant since And Justice for All ( Where they screwed over Bassist Jason Newstead because he could never be Cliff Burton) 😅 Please look into Night Wish Waken Live or Sleep Token any MV take your pick, because it's way more interesting. .
@@ebm-everythingbutmainstream I can't speak on Band-Maid, but a year ago I went and saw the Warning in NYC on a free ticket of a friend who really dug them and was trying to get me into them. If it weren't for the fact that I was there with a friend on a free ticket I would have left after the 4th song. Instead I ended hanging out at the back bar BS'ING with the Bartenders counting the minutes until it was over. The crowd was made up of old rocker dudes drooling over three chicks on stage. I'm telling you, if that band were made up 3 Dudes, they'd be penniless because nobody would give a Phuck. It would've been them and some crickets. The music was boring and the mix was terrible drums dominating everything, which wouldn't have been the greatest sin, except that the drumming was super basic. For context she made Stephen Adler look like Buddy Rich in comparison. Overall they reminded me of a New Millennium Motley Cru, all style and no substance. But it just goes to show you don't really need talent to gain a following and make money in music.
@@Studio-Coast_Kid Well, thats OK. Your opinion and your taste. I am a 68 yo guy who worked for a few years in the music industry and I saw most of the big bands, mainly in Rock and Metal. there have been 3 outstanding concerts in my life: Frank Zappa, Sisters Of Mercy and The Warning. I saw Nightwish 2013 in Wacken, really good if you like symphonic metal. I never saw Sleep Token, I think they are OK, but too much a Poser Band for me. Well my taste probably is very different than yours. There are only 5 Bands that impress me: 1. The Warning 2. Lovebites 3. Nemophila 4. Asterism 5. Band-Maid
@@HeadbangersGuild Hate? live is very good hard rock song and shows their musicianship up close and personal. A couple more metalish songs - emphasis on the ish - songs would be Real Existence live or Rinne MV (not sure there's a live version on TH-cam anymore) if that's more your flavour. B-M have become my musical crack but Hanabie and Nemophila round out my personal top 3 wrt Japanese bands. Subbed and off to check out your reactions to them.
The warning consist of 3 sisters from mexico, danny lead guitar&lead singer 24,pau drummer and vocals 22,ali bass 5 string and backup vocals 19,formed in 2013
Check out The Warning's song Evolve live at the VMA's. And since you're wearing a metalica shirt check out their remake of Enter Sandman Metalica loved it. Check out Band-Maid's song Play live
W I N !!!!! 🎀 W I N !!!⚡I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, H-Bang! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔
Welcome to Band Maid! The best rock band on the planet (imo of course). The Warning too. They are both rock bands more than metal bands, but I think they both have songs that go much harder than this that might be more your groove. As far as band maid I’m going to recommend: Hate? (Live) (start with this one) Shambles Rinne Warning Trust me
from what i understand (and this is a very rough generalization, not in any way categorical), Maidiacs tend to say it sounds like a The Warning song, while TWA (aka: "The Warning Army") are saying it sounds like a Band-Maid song .... so i'd say that this is a good intro to both bands. (personally, i'm in the latter camp). both bands are more "rock" ; but afaic, they rock hard enough to be enjoyable to metalheads (well, at least to _this_ metalhead). _Evolve_ at MTV VMAs 2023 is a very common entry point for The Warning. after that, i'd personally say to go back to _XXI Century Blood_ OMV , then _Dust to Dust_ (Live at Teatro Metropolitan) , _Disciple_ OMV _or_ Live at Teatro Metropolitan , then _Hell You Call A Dream_ Live at Pepsi Center -- that will give you a full career overview from all 4 albums. (again, that's just me -- i'm sure others will suggest a different map ... but you'll eventually get recommended literally their entire catalog , so there's that🤷♂) I'm not super well versed on Band-Maid yet, so i'll let the Maidiacs take it from here.
Cool - neither has any "bad' tracks, just some that might not hit the spot for you, as tastes DO differ, which is a GOOD thing 👍😎😊 Hmmm, for some reason the like button is greyed out - seen that quite a few times lately, so it might not take.
Good reaction man, The Warning just posted Hell You Call A Dream at Vevo Studios that will give you a better perspective on their sound. They have an abundance of great songs, their discography is impressive. They also have a re-imagined track of Enter Sandman on Metallica's 30th Anniversary Black Album that the boys really liked.
The Warning's style includes a wide range of musical influences that can be heard in their music if you listen carefully. They turn it into their unique style that is really cool. They inhabit almost all styles of rock so they are very hard to classify IMHO.
May I recommend The Warning’s ‘Queen of the Murder Scene’ at the Teatro Metropolitan. It is a headbanger and with their love of anime, included Japanese into the lyrics.
Great reaction and thanks for listening to these two great bands; The Warning, a three sister (all in their early 20's) real rock band gaining international attention and Band-Maid, a five member band (all in their early 30's) that have been together for 11 years in the original lineup, that is a hard rock/progressive/punk/emo/all other genres band creating some of the best music you'll hear. There's lots to choose from from both bands, any official live MV from either band is great as they are both amazing live bands.
If you want to hear a heavier song from The Warning, check out Sharks or Apologize. Automatic Sun has several options to listen to, The OMV shot at Tecate Pal Norte festival with studio audio, live from Jimmy Kimmel or MTV push. They also played at VEVO studios and performed Hell You Call A Dream. Enjoy and welcome aboard!
6:50 nice observation. yes, this is not their best song to start with. their initial collaboration was a product of mutual admiration and courtesy more than a showcase of musical force. though both are hard rock-driven, you'll see their strength in their respective materials. but as for band-maid's compositions, they structure it in a manner that straddles the whole music spectrum. as maidiacs, we see them as a genre upon itself.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。And thank you for taking up Band-Maid. I like B-M as well as BABYMETAL, the most favorite two J-Rock bands for me. I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)
Thank you for your reaction. My musical journey is currently with Band Maid. I have listen to one album with The Warning and decided to return, when the storm of Japanese music slow down a bit, sounded good at first listen. Kanami will not leave anyone behind and get everyone on board. I can’t speak for The Warning but if you like bass the official live ”Hate?” could be a good start. Have fun! :)
Great reaction,As this is a collab and a very good one at that, both of these band are very different in their styles,i think the song was composed to suit the middle ground of both bands,,,İ would suggest you check out ,HATE live at Yokahama 2023 to see what Band Maid are all about, they are an absolute powerhouse live, enjoy.
Just getting into band-maid myself. Unleash is my fav track so far. Also if you want something different, check out NINI, a Taiwanese folk metal artist. Homeland mv I think would be a great song to watch.
BAND-MAID and THE WARNING put this collaboration together because they’ve been mutual fans for sometime, and were able to meet for the first time at aftershock two years ago. I love SHOW THEM, but I’m not sure why you started with the collaboration of two bands that you’ve never heard before; it doesn’t make sense. But if you look further, you’ll find that BAND-MAID are the future of Rock. I recommend that you kick off your BAND-MAID journey with the performance that turned me into a MADIAC four years ago: DOMINATION, live, 14th February 2020 - th-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/w-d-xo.html
Welcome to the fandoms! Both bands are awesome! They're both fans of each other Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song I suggest these BM songs: Thrill, Dice, Manner, Bubble, No God (live) & Puzzle (live) I suggest these TW songs: Money, Sick, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (official video with Alessia Cara), Evolve (live VMAs) & Dust To Dust (live Teatro)
Band-Maid: they have a playlist of official live videos on their channel. The Warning: on their channel, there’s a full length live concert from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022, when the bassist, Alejandra, was still 17. (They’re all sisters.) You can listen to any song from these two groups. They haven’t published a single bad one in ten years (yes, the Warning have been around since they were 9, 12, and 14 years old). And both groups are best enjoyed live, they sure know how to hype an audience.
This is a bit different from their usual songs, it is designed to give a taste of each band. I can't speak to The Warning as I have not heard much by them yet, but they are very good. Band-Maid plays hard rock but also does many different genres, sometimes within a single song. This is why it is said their genre is Band-Maid. Whatever they touch is always done very well. Suggest either Hate? live or Influencer MV from Band-Maid.
for the Warning's most "current sound", I would recommend a few off their new album, "Hell You Call a Dream" (Official live is best), "Six Feet Deep" (great MV), "Sharks" or "Automatic Sun" Previous cuts from the prior Two Albums: "Dull Knives", "Dust to Dust", "Evolve", all from the Teatro Metropolitan show, and if you want to hear the drummer as the featured singer then "Revenant" and "23", also from Teatro Metro are highly recommended.
Nice reaction. To answer your question, this song has an irregular tone for both bands. I'm a big Band Maid fan, so I'd be happy if you could watch the live video on their official channel.
Welcome to The Warning! Playing live is their super power, I'd recommend starting with S!ck and Automatic Sun (live from MTV Push or the Jimmy Kimmel show, both performances are great), Hell You Call A Dream (live from the Pepsi Center), Six Feet Deep (live from Wacken), and then Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs. The Warning rabbit hole is DEEP...You've Been Warned!
I’m a The Warning fan, however both bands are great hard rock bands. I don’t know much about Band Maid except they are great instrumentalists. The Warning has a different style than Band Maid. I’m going to see TW for my 4th time in September. I really wish Band Maid and Nemophila would come to the States again.
Check some live performances by The Warning. Pretty much anything they’ve done. See their TH-cam channel The Warning. Strap in and enjoy the ride. You will not be disappointed. 3 young sisters from Monterrey Mexico. They have been playing for over ten years but are still only ages 24,22, and 19.
The Warning are definitely worth checking out. You could start with Evolve live from MTV VMAs or their cover of Enter Sandman live at Teatro Metropolitan. There is also their version of Enter Sandman from 10 years ago that went viral at ages 9, 12 and 14. Some reactors do the young version first and then the newer version in same reaction. The contrast is striking. The new version is first song on Metallica's Blacklist cover compilation album.
You paused in the middle of Ale’s little bass solo and only noticed the follow up slap bit by bm’s bassist… oh well, i do agree with you about your comments on the song! But bass solos are even more important to pay attention to because they are like a unicorn in the world of rock… lol 😊
Kanami actually pushed the two singers to move their tones up a bit. This is actually a little high for either of them. There is actually a reprint of an article originally done on Billboard Japan on the English site where all 8 of the artists talk a little about their experience with this song. Kanami is the lead guitarist for Band Maid and started the writing process. They worked out a lot of the song long distance then The Warning traveled to Japan for 3 shows, one of which was with Band Maid where they finished the song and then did this song at the end of the concert they had together. From Billboard: BAND-MAID & The Warning Talk New Collaborative Single ’Show Them’: Interview
My friend: DarWin and The Warning...2 de las mejores Bandas del mundo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Live Maid is the best maid.... the BM studio albums are simply the stepping stone to the awesomeness that is Band Maid Live.... pick any of the official live videos... Hate? Puzzle, No God, Domination, Manners / Black Hole.. you really cant go wrong and will be in for a treat ....
genial reacción, me suscribo esperando mas reacciones hacia la banda THE WARNING, estoy seguro te volara la cabeza con el poder y sonido actual que traen en cada una de sus rolas 🤘🤘🔥
Buena reacción! aunque todavía no has visto nada de ambas bandas🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽 The Warning: Tres hermanas mexicanas: Daniela (🎤🎸), Paulina (🥁🎤) y Alejandra (🎸🎤). Viva the Warning!!!
Wow, you're about to fall down two rabbit holes at once, that could get awkward! 😅 Suggestions for Band-Maid intro, Don't You Tell Me or Hate?, both live at Yokohama arena. You like bass? Hoo boy, Misa is going to blow your mind! For The Warning, a very recent live performance at Poland Rock of Disciple, or their MTV awards performance of Evolve, both are bangers. Have fun!
Lots of good stuff from both these bands. For The Warning I recomend their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman, "ENTER SANDMAN Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022", or almost any version of their song Evolve, but the one from the MTV awards, "The Warning - EVOLVE (Live on The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards)" is good to see Pau, the Drummer, intimidating the audience 😁 From BandMaid maybe have a listen to Hate for a good introduction to them "BAND-MAID / HATE? (Official Live Video)" The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico, still very young, but with a lot of experience behind them. High on my list of bands I would like to see, I'm hoping they return to the UK in the near future, (I had to miss them earlier this year when they did a tour of the UK, due to having a health issue at the time) The number of good bands from Japan is simply insane. It reminds me of the UK in the late 60's, 70's, when there was so much good music being created. Keep Rocking my friend 🤘
Great reaction! Absolutely check out The Warning! Best start: Their opener “Z” live at Teatro Metropolitan, on their youtube channel you will love it! (Pro quality audio). Enjoy bass-love and wanting more you said: Ale has many fantastic bass-lines in their songs.
Welcome to the warning . . . A great song to start with is . . .."Evolve" from the MTV VMAs 2023 . . From then you have a choice of nearly 60 songs on 4 albums and an EP from 10 years a band . . More of The Warning Army could pop in for a chat with history and song sugestions . Till next time take care . Bye from New Zealand 👋🇳🇿🍻twa
A side guide. Members of bandmaid are not pals with babymetal - they don't like to be mistaken for a manufactured idol band but they are good friends with individual Kamiband members. I think MISA (bass who the whole industry respects these days) and Akane (drums - as for MISA.)
Let me intruduce you The warning Daniela "Dany" 24 guitar lead singer, Piano Paulina "Pau" 22 Drums, lead singer (about 10 songs), Backing vocals, Piano Alejandra "Ale" 19 Bass, backing vocals, Piano Welcome to the rabbit hole of the warning 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico Trained from a young age in classical piano they founded the group in 2013 due to the game musical 'the rock-band' They will be noticed in 2014 following the release on TH-cam of the song Enter sandman of Metallica (originally intended for their grandparents to see their progress !! ) They have released 4 albums ( 2 independent XXI st century blood in 2017 and Queen of the Murder Scene, concept album in 2018) They signed with Lava/Republic records mid-2020, following a negotiation of 7 months. Listen Sharks, Queen of the murder scene , six feet deep, Narcissista (the drummer sing this one).... choose live version even better than the studio ones the two band are fans of eachother and decided to do this one durin a travel of the warning in japan invited by band maid
Do I know any good Warning songs? HAHAHAHA! You have their childhood EP, Escape the Mind, their childhood LP XXI Century Blood, their juvenile master piece, Queen of the Murder Scene, their first signed LP Error, and their latest drop, Keep Me Fed, and their single Narcisista, to choose from sir. You have been Warned.
I absolutely love this song and both of these bands (Band-maid is at the top of the list of bands I still want to see live, but living 'Down Under' tends to make such wishes challenging at times), playing it multiple times per day. But yeah, despite that, probably not the best song for a first introduction to either of these bands. First difference with other bands you've reacted to, is that both these bands are primarily Rock bands, instead of Metal. You noted you was spoiled by the musicianship of bands like Lovebites. Band-maid is at the same level (yes, really!) but this is a short collab song, so not much room to show off. Dani (The Warning singer) usually has a lower tone but they wanted to match for this track. Only recently got into The Warning, and loving it, but I've been a Maidiac for some years now so very comfortable recommending more of them. (Almost) all of their songs are very good, instrumentals as well, so I'll pile on with the usual recommendations: Domination and Hate?, both live. Band-maid is on of those rare bands that are even better live. For me the sign of great musicians.
This is a true collab, so it's a little more simplified and straight forward for Band-Maid to meet with The Warning's straight forward power rock sound. Check out some single Band-Maid stuff and you'll really get a sense of how deep the musicianship goes. I know most people are gonna suggest Hate?, but I also like songs like Real Existence and The Non-Fiction Days. And of course like all Japanese bands the live versions are far superior.
If you want to take a peek down "The Warning" rabbit hole... Where it all started, their original "Enter Sandman" cover in 2014 that went viral. Better than most cover bands I've heard, considering how old they were at the time Daniella - "Dany" on guitar 14yo Paulina - "Pau" on drums 12yo Alejandra - "Ale'" on bass 9yo th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html A bit later, they put out a cinematic music video as an indie band with with no label support -- just their fans crowdfunding them: "XXI Century Blood" th-cam.com/video/syTyga3lVL0/w-d-xo.html In 2022, they were invited to **remake** "Enter Sandman" for the Metallica Blacklist album and they turned it into a darker lullaby: th-cam.com/video/9tKQgesCcTc/w-d-xo.html Examples of their stage presence at the MTV VMA's in 2023 with their song "Evolve": th-cam.com/video/lPLM7z-av7g/w-d-xo.html One of the many behind the scenes videos that's on youtube: "Their Metallica cover went viral. Here's how they kept rocking" th-cam.com/video/EIEcjGZmQ8w/w-d-xo.html They have a few full concerts on youtube - here's one with great audio & camera work: Live at "Teatro Metropólitan" (CDMX) th-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/w-d-xo.html Their latest album is "Keep Me Fed" (songs: Six Feet Deep, Sharks, Automatic Sun are all hard rock bangers) and has got some of their heaviest tracks so far. Anything showing their live or on-stage performance is their super-power. Beyond that, youtube has everything - social media streams, vlogs, behind the scenes vids -- they love interacting with fans.
Try *The Warning's* 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Or literally anything from their Teatro Metropolitan shows.
Absolutely! 🤘🤘
ALL The Warning songs are fire ⚡️
🤘🤘the warning 🔥🔥
The two lead singer have a different singing tone in their individual bands but because they are great singers they sang this song in the same key!
And then - magic! They sound almost the same. Very similar, except that saiki has a kind of strong accent with cute rolling Rs.
Note that both singers have a lower natural voice than this, the voice they use while talking. And Dany usually sing lower.
@@rolandkarlsson7072 The Japanese do not have the letter L in their alphabet, and it is replaced by a rolling R.
Dani, the lead singer of the warning, actually is singing an octave higher than she normally does. Both these bands are very good.
I believe the same can be said about Saiki (Band-Maid's primary vocalist). Almost makes me wonder why both don't just sing an octave lower, where they are both comfortable, until I look at the lyrics.
This is an assignment by Professor Kanami.
If you want more band maid that will show what they can really do, watch live versions of Domination, Freedom and Black Hole.
The Warning’s original viral video was playing Enter Sandman 10 years ago, when they were quite young…even got a thumbs up from Kirk. 4 albums later, they are rocking hard and touring. 🤘🔥#NumberlyGarfs
🤟... The Warning ... "Hell you call a Dream" live from Pepsi Center CDMX .... Yep.... That will get ya.... 🤟
possibly Dany's best vocal performance to date.
Trust me.
Good suggestion, but they have soooo much more.

Amazing feedback thank you! I have already recorded the next BAND-MAID song and that will be the video after this! :)

Imho, it’s a great classic rock style song with great drive and lyrics. All the vocals and instrumentation is outstanding. I particularly love the guitar work Kanami, Dany and Miku play - some really great guitar parts - aggressive yet some real subtle melodies by Kanami (as usual with her).
MUST see both of these bands LIVE! 🔥

But since you are learning more about the Maids, here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:
Welcome, H-Bang.
"Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: th-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/w-d-xo.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Protect You, Sense, Different, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): th-cam.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/w-d-xo.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. th-cam.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts:

And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Here’s two of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at an intimate venue:

If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, live streams, CD, DVD/BD & merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies.
Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.

The Maids are one of the hardest working supergroups in the business! Their music, their sound, each of the Maids, and the love that permeates their live events is an experience not to be missed. Hope you can catch them LIVE!
My friend: you need to see The Warning/LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heh, you need to see The Warning live, Band-Maid live, and both of them together live! Heh heh heh....
Band Maid with song “Hate” next. This song with the The Warning is a great collaboration 🤘🏻
There is a PRS interview with the two PRS players Kanami and Dani, and there one of them leaked that they already had at least one more song planned.
More of The Warning please! You can't pick a bad song and they are at their absolute best performing live...
I see some of the Band-Maid Maidiacs and some of The Warning Army have already been by to fill you in and give you a few suggestions. I'll not add to the pile, other than to add another voice to the chorus saying, "YES! check out more of The Warning, and more of Band-Maid!" They're both *awesome* :)
This is a good "teaser-course" for the two bands, but I'd not say it's really indicative of either of them: it's a definite collaboration, where both bands bent toward each other, and worked to blend effectively, which I think they accomplished very well. They each have their own distinctive styles, and are both very much worth the time to listen to further.
yeah they have arrived! :D thank you I shall do more for sure!
@@HeadbangersGuild one thing i will definitely say about both bands is that they are both in that rare class of artists that are always better *live.* when you have the choice of something studio or something pro-shot live for any of their songs, do yourself the favor of *always* choosing live :)
The Warning are mostly hard rock if you have to put a label on them. The Warning are best live! Subscribed
Band-Maid songs I like:
Puzzle (Tokyo garden Theater)
I'll
From Now On
Moratorium
Cross
Manners (Day of the Maid) + Black Hole (this shows their range and their refusal to conform to genre)
Giovanni
Daydreaming
After Life
Unleash!!!!! (Anime/live action MV)
Hate? (Yokohama Arena)
Don't You Tell ME (Yokohama Arena)
Yeah, Band-Maid already created the song "Warning", so it's high time The Warning created a song called "Band-Maid"!! 😜
If you want an optimum live hard rock example of Band-Maid have a listen to Hate? live at the Yokohama Arena from last November.
Yes, I know some good The Warning songs…all of them!
😅 (I don't recommend "Hate" as others may do, but that's a matter of taste😮)
I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much.
And there is more: For example their ballads, the songs with Miku in lead, their christmas acoustic concert and the 'cover band' Band-Maiko ;-)
They have rock, pop punk, funk, jazz, prog and more elements in their repertoire!
Have fun...

OK
Three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
Daniela (Dany): Lead Vocals, Guitar - 24 years old as of today
Paulina (Pau - pronounced POW): Drums, backing vocals and sometimes lead (while playing drums) - 22 years old as of today
Alejandra (Ale - pronounced Al-lay): Bass, backing vocals - 19 years old as of today
All are classically trained pianists and are the sweetest, and silliest girls you'll ever learn about, and are probably most well-documented band on the planet - go like & subscribe to their TH-cam channel, and you'll see how much content is there - and there are many other The Warning related channels with additional content.
They were 14, 12 and 9 at the time. th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html
Metallica saw the video, spurring Kirk Hammett to say, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" (again, Pau was 12 years old at the time and already played it as good a Lars).
Dany is a PRS Ambassador
Pau is sponsored by DW and Sabian, and won Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year, 2023
Ale became a Spector Signature Artist when she was about 16. She designed her signature 5-string with Spector, and Spector sells 'Ale's Inferno' which is modeled after her 5-string they designed together: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/NS5XLAI--spector-usa-ns-5xl-bass-guitar-ales-inferno
They stopped doing covers around 2015 when they produced their first original EP 'Escape The Mind', and only write original music. have 2 EPs and 4 albums.
They signed with Lava Records (Republic) in 2020, and have since produced one EP and two albums with the latest, 'Keep Me Fed' being released on June 28, 2024,
They toured with Band-Maid earlier this year when they did the 'Show Them' collaboration together in Japan.
They've opened for 3 Days Grace, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Muse, Guns & Roses, and have played multiple festivals.
They have about 30 shows planned through the rest of 2024, including a headline US Tour, supporting Halestorm in Canada (and maybe some headlines there as well?)
Their superpower is LIVE.
I expect there will be Madiacs coming along, but on behalf of The Warning fans
Welcome to The Warning.
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano.
From The Warning’s TH-cam page you might choose from:
- MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs
- S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel
- The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish)
- 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance of Hell You Call A Dream
- CHOKE, ANIMOSITY, Dust to Dust, 23, or any other song from their 2022 show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City)
- The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD
- SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk
There are really no bad choices.
Thank you for all the info! I will put them on the list to react to for one of the next few video's :)
All that and it's their music is still Boring as Phuch,!
Metallica (although multi -Millionaires) have'nt been musically relevant since And Justice for All ( Where they screwed over Bassist Jason Newstead because he could never be Cliff Burton) 😅
Please look into Night Wish Waken Live or Sleep Token any MV take your pick, because it's way more interesting. .
@@Studio-Coast_Kid Nightwish is good, sleep Token is OK, but Band-Maid & The Warning are on a totally different (higher) level!
There are only 5 Bands that impress me:
1. The Warning
2. Lovebites
3. Nemophila
4. Asterism
5. Band-Maid
Hi there!

@@HeadbangersGuild. The song Hate? Official live 2023. Yes the question mark shall be there 😁👍.

As far as band maid I’m going to recommend:
Hate? (Live) (start with this one)
Shambles
Rinne
Warning
Trust me
Yes, starting with HATE? live is the perfect introduction
from what i understand (and this is a very rough generalization, not in any way categorical), Maidiacs tend to say it sounds like a The Warning song, while TWA (aka: "The Warning Army") are saying it sounds like a Band-Maid song .... so i'd say that this is a good intro to both bands.
(again, that's just me -- i'm sure others will suggest a different map ... but you'll eventually get recommended literally their entire catalog , so there's that🤷♂)
I'm not super well versed on Band-Maid yet, so i'll let the Maidiacs take it from here.
Cool - neither has any "bad' tracks, just some that might not hit the spot for you, as tastes DO differ, which is a GOOD thing 👍😎😊
Hmmm, for some reason the like button is greyed out - seen that quite a few times lately, so it might not take.
Good reaction man, The Warning just posted Hell You Call A Dream at Vevo Studios that will give you a better perspective on their sound. They have an abundance of great songs, their discography is impressive. They also have a re-imagined track of Enter Sandman on Metallica's 30th Anniversary Black Album that the boys really liked.
be careful -- Vevo seems to be doing claims on that one
The Warning's style includes a wide range of musical influences that can be heard in their music if you listen carefully. They turn it into their unique style that is really cool. They inhabit almost all styles of rock so they are very hard to classify IMHO.
May I recommend The Warning’s ‘Queen of the Murder Scene’ at the Teatro Metropolitan. It is a headbanger and with their love of anime, included Japanese into the lyrics.
that whole album sounds like a modern-day _Master of Reality_ 😍
Great reaction and thanks for listening to these two great bands; The Warning, a three sister (all in their early 20's) real rock band gaining international attention and Band-Maid, a five member band (all in their early 30's) that have been together for 11 years in the original lineup, that is a hard rock/progressive/punk/emo/all other genres band creating some of the best music you'll hear. There's lots to choose from from both bands, any official live MV from either band is great as they are both amazing live bands.
Ale is still 19
If you want to hear a heavier song from The Warning, check out Sharks or Apologize.
(FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)
Try Evolve at MTV music video awards 2023
for The Warning
Thank you for your reaction. My musical journey is currently with Band Maid. I have listen to one album with The Warning and decided to return, when the storm of Japanese music slow down a bit, sounded good at first listen. Kanami will not leave anyone behind and get everyone on board. I can’t speak for The Warning but if you like bass the official live ”Hate?” could be a good start. Have fun! :)
Both BAND-MAID & The Warning are S-tier bands IMO. They are the torch-bearers for rock n' roll for the current generation of rock bands.
Welcome to The Warning! I hope you continue with this amazing band!
They're both fans of each other
Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song
I suggest these BM songs: Thrill, Dice, Manner, Bubble, No God (live) & Puzzle (live)
I suggest these TW songs: Money, Sick, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (official video with Alessia Cara), Evolve (live VMAs) & Dust To Dust (live Teatro)
Band-Maid: they have a playlist of official live videos on their channel.
The Warning: on their channel, there’s a full length live concert from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022, when the bassist, Alejandra, was still 17. (They’re all sisters.)
You can listen to any song from these two groups.
Suggest either Hate? live or Influencer MV from Band-Maid.
for the Warning's most "current sound", I would recommend a few off their new album, "Hell You Call a Dream" (Official live is best), "Six Feet Deep" (great MV), "Sharks" or "Automatic Sun"
Previous cuts from the prior Two Albums: "Dull Knives", "Dust to Dust", "Evolve", all from the Teatro Metropolitan show, and if you want to hear the drummer as the featured singer then "Revenant" and "23", also from Teatro Metro are highly recommended.
Bnad Maid's 'style is to change it up all the time. Try going from Hate? to Endless Story live from the same 2023 show.
5:18 Both of these bands separately WILL get you excited like you are used to.
You have been Warned!!!🤘🎸
Bandmaid can be scary badass. I'm sure the fanbase will guide you. But kanami (lead guitar and composer/producer) is always wanting to try new things.
They decided to do this themselves and it was all down to them at all levels.
From Billboard:
BAND-MAID & The Warning Talk New Collaborative Single ’Show Them’: Interview
The warning have toured with muse, halstorm, guns&roses, they just played wacken open air aug 2024
I suggest Band Maid "Hate?" live from Japan.
It's bad A$$!
Bass v guitar solos!🤘
genial reacción, me suscribo esperando mas reacciones hacia la banda THE WARNING, estoy seguro te volara la cabeza con el poder y sonido actual que traen en cada una de sus rolas 🤘🤘🔥
Suggestions for Band-Maid intro, Don't You Tell Me or Hate?, both live at Yokohama arena. You like bass? Hoo boy, Misa is going to blow your mind!
For The Warning, a very recent live performance at Poland Rock of Disciple, or their MTV awards performance of Evolve, both are bangers. Have fun!
Lots of good stuff from both these bands. For The Warning I recomend their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman, "ENTER SANDMAN Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022", or almost any version of their song Evolve, but the one from the MTV awards, "The Warning - EVOLVE (Live on The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards)" is good to see Pau, the Drummer, intimidating the audience 😁
From BandMaid maybe have a listen to Hate for a good introduction to them "BAND-MAID / HATE? (Official Live Video)"
The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico, still very young, but with a lot of experience behind them. High on my list of bands I would like to see, I'm hoping they return to the UK in the near future, (I had to miss them earlier this year when they did a tour of the UK, due to having a health issue at the time)
The number of good bands from Japan is simply insane. It reminds me of the UK in the late 60's, 70's, when there was so much good music being created. Keep Rocking my friend 🤘
I recomend to react for BAND-MAID HATE? Official live version! For The Warning I recomend AUTOMATIC SUN official version.
The vocal mix is a bit unusual for either band. It's much more prominent in the mix than they normally are.
Let me intruduce you The warning
Daniela "Dany" 24 guitar lead singer, Piano
Paulina "Pau" 22 Drums, lead singer (about 10 songs), Backing vocals, Piano

Watch HATE? live from Yokohama Arena if you really want to get a true feel of Band Maid. Watch EVOLVE by The Warning.
Check out band maid hate? From Yokohama 11/26/23 live
Hy Check Band Maid Hate? official live video and you'll get enough bass I promise 😉 They are crazy good!!!
New sub here. Welcome to Band-Maid and The Warning. Try Band-Maid’s “Hate” next. Also check out The Warning’s “Evolve”. You won’t be disappointed.
If you want to take a peek down "The Warning" rabbit hole...
Where it all started, their original "Enter Sandman" cover in 2014 that went viral.
Better than most cover bands I've heard, considering how old they were at the time
Daniella - "Dany" on guitar 14yo
Paulina - "Pau" on drums 12yo
Alejandra - "Ale'" on bass 9yo

A bit later, they put out a cinematic music video as an indie band with with no label support -- just their fans crowdfunding them:
"XXI Century Blood"

In 2022, they were invited to **remake** "Enter Sandman" for the Metallica Blacklist album and they turned it into a darker lullaby:

Examples of their stage presence at the MTV VMA's in 2023 with their song "Evolve":

One of the many behind the scenes videos that's on youtube:
"Their Metallica cover went viral. Here's how they kept rocking"

They have a few full concerts on youtube - here's one with great audio & camera work:
Live at "Teatro Metropólitan" (CDMX)
th-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/w-d-xo.html
Their latest album is "Keep Me Fed" (songs: Six Feet Deep, Sharks, Automatic Sun are all hard rock bangers) and has got some of their heaviest tracks so far. Anything showing their live or on-stage performance is their super-power.
Beyond that, youtube has everything - social media streams, vlogs, behind the scenes vids -- they love interacting with fans.
Short answer: you should check out both.
Locura!!! UGH
