  • Get three workouts in one with this 20-minute lower-body workout led by certified personal trainer Amanda Butler. This program features unilateral knee drives and toe taps that will really burn out those legs and glues, and adds in some deadlifts for balance.     I have about 50 pounds to lose plus I'm a type 2 diabetic? Which exercise would be best for me?

      Cardio and yoga mix. Do a 10 (ten) minute jog or a 15 (fifteen) minute fast walk 3 (three) times a week followed by 20 (twenty) minutes of yoga that focuses on stretching and toning your core (e.g., stomach, toosh, and thighs) that you just worked out on the jog or walk.
      My 72 year old mother is a type 2 diabetic that lost 30 pounds in 2 years following the above. However, she made adjusts to her diet, consuming more protein, vegetables, select fruit, and lots of water. To this day, she still walks and does core toning and stretching 3 (three) times a week.

    I did not enjoy this workout at all. All squats with some quads. No calves at all. The cooldown was too fast and laying down after doing burpees is too much, you need to cooldown slowly. Plus no advanced moves at all either.
