Everything comes back around, so hold on to all of your luxury trends.❤ Also, wear what you love. So funny, I just watched a video on trends that have died and the girl was talking about ballerina flats are out. I guess it really depends on what group you ask whether something is in or out. I think ballerina flats are timeless and classic.
Yes! I too watched a video like that, maybe it was the same video. I also thought of Lou, when the girl talked about ballerina shoes. Ballerina flats have been around as long as I remember. I was surprised, but maybe she was referring to those shoes that resemble an actual dancing shoe, with ribbons or elastic band. They are more of an micro trend.
Ballerina flats will never go out of style, and crossbody is here forever lol!!! I can't recall a time when they were ever "out" of style (I use quotation marks because nothing really EVER goes out of style, as long as one person is wearing something then it's in style). I hate when someone is such a bully and tells her friend some random piece of her outfit isn't in style anymore or her jacket is so last season. Not everyone feels the need to replace everything as a new season approaches, I'm NOT contributing to unnecessary waste just because the designer used a new stitch or added an extra button.
This is a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually touristy ones), so I usually go in *jklux* to go shopping

I used to think owning a luxury bag was a far-fetched dream until *jklux* showed me that it is actually very close. Fashion sense comes not only from the brand, but also from personal taste and attitude.
I own Chanel, LV, Celine, and Dior from my purchases of the past. I’ve stopped buying them because prices are insane and quality has not been as good. I’m into vintage Coach and vintage leather bags without a big brand. They are way better quality in my opinion and make me happier.

To my surprise I’ve found myself into the silver bags lately, I don’t know what it is. Definitely wouldn’t get something super sleek, patent and shiny, but I may find myself with a muted silver bag 👀 I’m also definitely one that always prefers a crossbody. Every activity I do is easier to throw the bag around me than holding it. The only other bag I use are totes that go on the shoulder, and this is for shopping or going to the park for instance, needing to carry lots of things. Because most of my purses aren’t that big to carry things inside other than the basics like wallet, phone, keys, lipstick.

Hi Lou! Me personally, I really don't like Jaquemus. I like the style but the quality is embarassing. I ordered a Jaquemus linen mini dress once and when it got delivered I was shocked. It was super see through (mind you, it wasn't a bikini cover up but a dress and it didn't look like that on the model), felt really cheap, definitely looked like fast fashion and the size was so off. I returned it immediately. 600 euros to look like I'm wearing shein? No, thank you

It’s crazy bc I am always so easily influenced and I don’t realize it until later when it goes out of style. I swear I really love it then years later I’m like what was I thinking lol. Good tip though to take your time and not impulse buy! 😀😀
oh my god! I love you! Just saw the first point that run out of trend, crossbody bag!! I couldn't agree more!! It is so hard to find a new design with any brand that has a bag that is useful and stylish. Almost no decent crossbody bag, along all the bags somehow hate to have a zipper or fully secured closed top. What's that?
Hmm i dont think moon shape bags trend has died, they are just a classic now. I cant imagine my collection or that i stop to use my celine ava. This is the shape that you cant rly skip while building a capsule wardrobe, in my opinion.

Great video as per usual Lou ✨. My thoughts on the crossbody is it will never die all the way, because it’s not an actual trend in Europe and a few other places, it’s a must for security reasons. I love wearing my classic flaps just as shoulder bags, but even I have to sadly crossbody when i go to Barcelona and many other cities where pickpockets roam freely 😢. Also 💭 on Margeaux bag, it just has no oomph, at all. The most boring thing to look at, actually makes me a little sad how the design of it is so blend. Yes, i get the leather is amazing and all, but can we get a lil something something, anything? 😅 anyways, i think it’s a trend and the Birkin already fills it’s gap quiete nicely, so i see no actual need for it personally. However fashion is as you said in eyes of the beholder, so i accept of course that some ppl might ❤ it.
So funny that you mentioned the handle on the bottega bag. I had the same problem multiple times when I travelled with my Fendi first. I wont travel with it anymore.
@@JesuisLou I’ve had to stop 3 out of 4 times and open my carry on bag and show them what it was. Then they nodded and laughed and the women say oh nice bag (it’s the raffia one and I love it). But it’s a pain so I don’t think I’ll travel with it again.
I am so glad I stopped myself from jumping on crescent bags. I use my Dior saddle for the style though. Agree on minimalist on jewellery, less is more. @@JesuisLou Yes, this phenomenon of ditching well-made, long-lasting and timeless pieces in favor of more expensive and less well-made seasonal ones doesn't sit right with me. Thank you very much for your answer !
@@leendhlovukazi Yes, it's shocking ! It may have something to do with the fact that we have reached the end of the "decades cycle" in terms of trends this year with the 2000's becoming the "trendy" period again.
That Jodie bag in whatever size is SO ugly. It’s like someone wearing a dumpling 🥟 around. Absolutely cannot see how that bag even gets somewhere, definitely brainwashed by social media. 🤯🤯
I stil love my micro bags and have them in gold silver and black fits my keys, foldable phone and little wallet all i need. I treat them as jewelry. I have started repurposing my bags with new types of straps especially in contrasting colors it makes it new and more versatile I also love my chuncky loafers it gives me height. I hate white sneakers love ballet flats so comfy. Hate light neutrals love dark colors and pops of color.
I use the *amzrepe* as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
Hmm, interesting perspective but wouldn’t say these are trends that died. Other than the heavy jewelry stacking, the rest are more non-trending or de-trending at the moment and will rebound. Neutrals will be forever. They always have been and will always be. The trend that will fade very fast is a yellow or violet bag. This will have a hot moment and go away for a few years. Neutrals are constant.
Wake me up when backpacks that fit a notebook, grocery bags, a sweater, that are useful and practical become fashionable. I love bags. But I have a regular person life go to grocery store, take the bus. I wear a beautiful bag once a month just to get so annoyed cause I have to carry other plastic bags and stuff on my hand. Can any designer make big backpacks fashionable PLEASE?
Honestly, I think mostly it's just you. I see lots of crescent bags on the street. And I never saw many chain link bags in real life, but I still see the amount I saw in the past.
I bought gucci marmont when it’s already out of trend and i honestly don’t care with only one reason: i like this bag. Simple as that 😅 also its super versatile: shoulder chain or crossbody with dress or just jeans. And prada re-edition is my must have when i need my hands to be free. So the only advice i can get: buy what you really like and find comfortable, especially when it goes to luxury, for trends we all have zara 😂
Never wear a crossbody bag, unless it’s when I’m literally travelling with luggage or when riding my bike. In all other cases - a shoulder bag or a bag on my elbow. Crossbody ruins Siluet and any outfit

Metallic bag is hard to maintain the good condition so I think your decision was right
I am glad that I can't afford to be trendy
It might not be the trend, but I’m currently in the hunt for the perfect crossbody bag to bring with me on future trips (esp for bigger cities👀)
Great video! You look gorgeous also
I like crossbody for winter only with big coats 😂
Cool and relatable. I enjoyed your style and content ✅
Thanks for that video from Paris with love ❤
i agree i'll like gold
Something that trends can also be a classic also.
That Jodie bag in whatever size is SO ugly. It’s like someone wearing a dumpling 🥟 around. Absolutely cannot see how that bag even gets somewhere, definitely brainwashed by social media. 🤯🤯
😂😂😂
I stil love my micro bags and have them in gold silver and black fits my keys, foldable phone and little wallet all i need. I treat them as jewelry.
I have started repurposing my bags with new types of straps especially in contrasting colors it makes it new and more versatile
I also love my chuncky loafers it gives me height.
The micro bags were cute but I am typically late to trends or watch them out. Outside of “mini”, I didn’t get to add a micro bag.
A waste of money too tiny
Hi Lou! What kind of espresso machine do you have?
Love my crossbody
I hate crescent bags tbh 😭
Cross-body bags and designer jewellery? Girl, are you for real? 🤣🤣🤣😂
Honestly, I think mostly it's just you. I see lots of crescent bags on the street. And I never saw many chain link bags in real life, but I still see the amount I saw in the past.
What is practical about a white beaded bag with a metal chain? 😂
Crossbody forever. Busy mom here ❤
U have such a beautiful healthy hair ❤
I agree with your choices. On 🎯
Great video!
Crossbody bag forever.
I will forever be a crossbody bag girl 🙈
Having kunch and watching Lou, the best❤

I bought gucci marmont when it’s already out of trend and i honestly don’t care with only one reason: i like this bag. Simple as that 😅 also its super versatile: shoulder chain or crossbody with dress or just jeans. And prada re-edition is my must have when i need my hands to be free. So the only advice i can get: buy what you really like and find comfortable, especially when it goes to luxury, for trends we all have zara 😂
On what occasion would you wear these bags? I love your collection. Like I love my MOMCOCO's bags
Never wear a crossbody bag, unless it’s when I’m literally travelling with luggage or when riding my bike. In all other cases - a shoulder bag or a bag on my elbow. Crossbody ruins Siluet and any outfit
