- I only travel with carry-on. it saves so much time. When checking in, I don't need to wait in the long bag drop lines. Sometimes, that wait is over an hour! My baggage is in my control at all times, and I don't need to worry about the airline losing it and ruining my trip. Also, when I arrive at my destination, I don't need to wait forever for the airline to send it out. I'm able to walk right out and begin my fabulous vacation.
My backpack is Lovevook 17in. It is antitheft, which is a plus when traveling.

I have that exact backpack in red. I love that it has a battery bank and port on the side with the battery bank safe inside. Plus the RFID blocking material is a must.
YES, this is my favorite bag!
Finally a packing video from someone who knows what they're talking about!
Thank you so much! 💓
So very helpful. I am just starting to travel with a backpack only. I got some really good tips from your video, thank you for creating this one!!! All The Best in your travels!
I was debating if I should get this backpack or not. I think you did a great job explaining how good it is and you’ve convinced me to try it! Thank you!
You're welcome, I love it. It also has a charger and theft protection that really comes in handy.
Wow, very impressed! around..I could never get two weeks worth of stuff in backpack or even 18”. I noticed you didn’t pack any footwear, comb, brush. I always pack flip flops for hotel room but if I’m pressed for space, I’ll pack sandals that will work in hotel, beach, pool and to walk around.
Yes, it is not for everyone. 😀 I wore my hiking shoes on the plane since this was a hiking vacation. I had a light pair of sandles in the front pocket. My brush was in my purse.
Loved this!!! I have the same backpack but you gave some really great tips on how to pack it better. Your cohost was like “mom, where are you going NOW?” 😂 🐾
Lol, she is my velcro dog. When I get that suitcase out, she knows what is going on. You can hear her whining throughout the video because she was locked out... lol
I recently learn packing light and this video is really clear and on point. Thanks! Greetings from Poland 😊
THANK YOU! I love Poland! ❤️
I like the way you got right to the point, organized with no preamble. I t’s refreshing. I see the link to your backpack but not the suitcase. Would you share that information?
My suit case is just a cheap one from Walmart, but I love it. The fabric expands so I can get so much in. It's 18 in, which is what I prefer, because if the plane is full, it can fit under the seat so they won't force me to gate check. I will be doing a 2 week packing with it within the week www.walmart.com/ip/Protege-Pilot-Case-18-Carry-on-Luggage-Purple-12-5-L-x-6-5-D-x-19-25-H/509000555
Matching names!! This is exactly what I plan to do for my East Asia trip in March! Great idea including your itinerary/contacts for your trip in case you get separated from your bag.
I worked for Delta with lost bags, and it really helps. You won't believe how many bags we can't place due to no info with the bags
Wow...thank u...i learned so much.
Thank you!
Nice packing tips! I'm also a carry-on traveler with just 1 bag 🙂
It's the only way to travel 😊
@@where2next4kris and the only way to avoid paying for airlines check baggage 😆
Nice video….thanks for sharing!
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic video! So helpful for my trip coming up this year 👍😁
You are welcome! Thanks for watching. I also have one about the personal item I feel has a lot of great tips. The link should be at the end of this video.
This was so awesome!! Thanks so much.
Thank you 😊
Thank you! Very helpful!
Thank you 😊
Great video, this is what I define minimalist and realist, thank you 🙏
Thank you! 😊
Excellent. Thank you.
Thank you! 😊
Wear “fishing pants.” These pants have zip-off legs and large-capacity secondary tactical pockets. I pack a lot of items (mobile, wipes, gum, nutrient bar, etc.) in the large pockets w/o having to wear a waist pack. Also wear a camping shirt with large breast pockets. Here, I carry my passport, wallet and ticket.
Thank you! Great suggestions 😊
I would think your toothpaste, eye drops, nose drops, lotion (any gel or cream) would need to go in your liquids bag for TSA. Perhaps I missed it. Did you combine those?
For within the US and leaving the US, I do not have an issue since I have Tsa precheck. Returning to the US, I will add the bag to my liquids and then take it out after security
Excellent... but would love to see your airplane outfit, especially your shoes! I have NEVER been able to find one footwear that can be worn for travel, walking, beach etc and still be OK to wear with a dress/skirt to a restaurant?
Any suggestions I m from Uk have bigger plug which is so heavy for any electricals, is there any way to swap this for 2 pin smaller plug? Would laptop fit in too? I ve kearnt to stop taking most liquids even for long term travel, lightweight bars are answer along with toothpaste powder.
Sorry, I am not familiar with UK options. I agree, with liquids. I take as little as possible
Shoes?
Yes, since this was a hiking trip, I wore my bulky shoes, and then, in the front pocket, my sandals fit perfectly. Sorry I did not show that 😞
Will you share a link to your suitcase?
Yes, it's in the description. They have 2 sizes, and this is the 17 in. You can fit so much, in it, I love it and it's a great price! 😊
Where do you put shoes?
I wear my walking shoes on the plane, then my flat sandals fit in the front pocket. That's all I take. 😀
Did I miss the shoes?
Yes, I forgot that part...lol . It's a hiking trip so I wear those. Then I have some thin sandals that fit perfectly in the back zipper pocket, usually where you would put your laptop, but I only travel with my kindle and like my kindle in the front pocket for easy access. I'm afraid I'm not very stylish and that is all the shoes I need. 😳
What about shoes?
It was a hiking trip, wore my hiking shoes on the plane, and sandals were in the front zipper pocket
Hi
Hello 👋
Shoes and a jumper??
Just hiking, threw some sandals on top and wore by hiking shoes. What's a jumper?
@@where2next4kris Jumper is also called a Jumpsuit and sometimes a Romper but more commonly known as a Playsuit
@Quella oh, sadly, I don't have one of them. To relax, I just throw on my pajamas 😀
@@where2next4kris I haven't owned one since the 90s 🤣 Apparently, they have been making a comeback mostly for the younger generations born after 2000
@@FachtnaQuella I will have to get one! Lol
So many great tips...thanks for reminders to use those small pouches, too! One of my long-time travel tips is to bring a wrap scarf/Pashmina/Turkish towel... Such a versatile item! 😊❤️💺✈️🧳 Your sweet doggie... 🐶❤️😊😍
You are so welcome! Yes, I love pouches, so easy to stay organized, which is si important when traveling.
Yes, when I get my bags out, my dogs don't like to leave my side. They know that means I will be leaving soon. You may have also heard her whine a little earlier because she was locked out and not happy about it 😁
