  • This was a rig of my dreams when I was younger. I know it's not the original but it will fill the void and I won't feel bad running it! This first half is the unbox and chassis build. I will continue this build when the rest of the electronics arrive and hopefully get it fully built to run!

    Yeah dude. The car has a potential for crawling. Looking forward to see what you can do... Maybe it will inspire me to get one too, although I have also been a big fan of RC4WD Trail Finder 2 and the scale look of it...if I were to give some suggestions based on what I've seen so far is to remove the springs in the shocks (not sure how that affects the ability to hold shock oil), reduce the number of leaf springs and grind the mounting sides a bit. I think you might need to get a slipper clutch for the pinion gear...not sure if this thing has a transfer case. Good luck!

    • @idworkhard
      @idworkhard 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just realized I commented just before you started the build... It looks like you know all there is to make it crawler-worthy. I still recommend a slipper clutch though

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Slipper clutch would be nice to save the drivetrain. I dont know if it would be possible with this gearbox though. Might have to get a different one. But I love the way this gearbox looks so hopefully it can handle some crawling duty. 2wd for some donuts and 4wd for some rock action!

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't own a Bruiser but from the people that do own both they say the only difference is the transmission is different (better than original they say quieter too) and it doesn't have the one way hubs so that's a plus. Everything else is supposed to be the same. Also the tires are a better compound than the original as well. That's as much as I have heard.
