I run into the same choice paralysis issue with these things. I have to go into it with one specific game in mind otherwise I just get overwhelmed with the options.
The best way I avoid the game decision issue is to only have a few games per system loaded on at a single time. That way I'm focused on finishing one of them before I remove that game from the memory card and load a new one onto it.

While the Tiny Best Set of games is nicely curated, I often recommend folks load up only a handful of games per system, when it comes to emulating, because like you said - you end up just scrolling through all the games, overwhelmed, resulting in turning off the system! I do 100% with DS games, though. I don’t care if it’s the Miyoo mini or the Steam Deck… DS games belong on a DS. Period!
I'm glad I did! I think culling it is absolutely not a bad idea as it stands, but it at least provided some weird little games for this video.

omg, how did I forget the abominable brick. My favorites are the DSi and the New 3DS. I would say DS Lite if I didn't have a GBA and they didn't have so many yellow screens.

Obsessed with y’all 💞 PS For Christmas I gave Miyoo Mini Pluses with OnionOS to all my cousins who are non-gamers and they really liked it! But I’m more like you, uncle, because for Christmas I got myself an AGS-001 and I do prefer that for the simplicity and crunchy nostalgic screen 😁

I think my favorite Final Fantasy was part one for GBA. I really loved Final Fantasy Tactics for Playstation as well. I got all thirteen stones. I think I remember Cloud in there as well but it's been a while.

In the beginning you mentioned being overwhelmed, and I can't relate more. I have my og mini, and I love the smaller size, but... so many games... I end up using my analogue pocket or Game Boy lol
I am so tempted to go for the OG mini for cute factor but I know I wouldn't use it. I get choice paralysis between my retro consoles as it stands as well :'U

You should make a second sd card with some select games you want to focus on, itll help you with the overwhleming library anxiety and get to playing :)
I always have one less microSD card than I need...but absolutely will be culling lol.

Go vinyl with the stickers for a longer lasting sticker. It's a little more expensive but they will have a better life.

If I had a dime for every time a non-gamer friend or co-worker ooed and awed when they see my RP2 and then ask me where they can get one cuz they want to play sonic or old final fantasy or something, knowing they don't have the desire or familiarity with emulation to set it up. Maybe I'll reccommend this to them.
That is so cool! I love that videogames are a part of everyone's history, even if they don't claim to play them. My mom vehemently hated videogames but she was obsessed with her Brick Game console nonetheless haha
I find it very funny that you covered your girlfriend with the miyoo mini until the reveal. I also have an issue where I really like staring at my emulation device rather than playing them.

If you do do a Video about my Easter Egg make sure you have an official Cartridge then use the Epilogue GB Operator to mess with it officially so there is no question it's just a backup. Then when you are finished with everything in the Video have the M.I.B's knock at the door and say they want to ask you a few questions. It's cheaper than my original idea of S.W.A.T coming in.🤣🤣🤣
