I have the original Miyoo Mini, which I believe is a bit smaller than the Plus. Apparently Miyoo can't source the original screens anymore, so they made the Plus with a slightly larger screen. Normally I expect Miyoo devices to be cool, but fail completely on the usability front. (e.g. 50Hz screen, tearing, hardware problems, etc.) But I really love the Miyoo Mini! If they've built the Plus to the same level of quality, I can completely understand why you like it. 😎
I got that nice Miyoo box as well ! have Onion OS on my MM+ and Garlic OS on my RG35XX. MM+ is my fav. Instead of a no name chinese SD card the MM+ comes with a Lexar brand 64 GB SD card. But DON'T use the supplied SD card reader or your card will be corrupt asap !
Hi retro rob I love the miyoo mini rob everyone should get the miyoo mini it is awesome right rob your awesome rob and keep up the good work and you rock 🎸rob stay safe rob 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
In regards to Doom and Mario 64, when you said they are ports...ports to what? Like how do I search for the lord's and which emulators do they play on? I'm getting a Mini+ soon
Pico 8 is fun to get a rom set to see what people have made 1,40 version I got 1000 games on it easy to search I love miyoo mini plus's and I have a lot of emulators
I found out today the new version of onion os has an ad hoc multiplayer mode so only proximity is needed not actual wifi. Which is cool the WiFi one works fine playing with my wife, but something she is very excited for is gb an gbc finally having link cable support, hopefully that means gba link cable is in our future too.
A little late to the Miyoo Mini Show 😉 but better late than never I guess. The Miyoo Mini Plus is by far the best small Handheld for anything up to PS1 without any bigger kind of upscaling or enhancement thanks to the Onion OS. I like my Miyoo for a short play of something old. For the newer stuff I’ve got my Odin Pro and to take with me if needed I love the Powkiddy X28!
I love this thing, I like more casual or turn based games, and light arcade games, I especially love this thing for pico 8 games. I’ve been a lot of fatal labyrinth on, a rogue game on the sega I’ve never played before. Also rogue games for the pico 8, some of my favorites are like porklike, and especially guncho which is strategy rogue. Now that I’m on the part where you are playing in the hunt, shmups are pretty fun too.
@@Sneakers8b The official one pulls directly from the internet, which is pretty cool since you dont need to place them on SD. Any way that works is good though!
@@Retr0Rob oh I didn’t realize it would have that aspect of the pc pico 8 player, well shoot I hope we could get support for that, I barely get any use out of the one I paid for.
I really like the look of it. Resembles Analogue Pocket to me. The buttons...You're right! Reminds me of Spree candy. And the framerates look silky smooth. Handheld emulators have really come up, haven't they? Great video, Rob! (You're welcome, kitty, now live a good life from now on...😺)

Yeah, it takes a lot to knock the LDK to the side, but this one is really good!
I’m the ninth like for the video! 🤗😤💪🏿 Good for me. Thanks for the reviews Mr. Rob
Thank You!

I have that same Atari Tin behind your LDK lol complete with Boxer Briefs 😂
Didn’t the intro used to say “RETROROB PLAYS EVVVVERYYHING” but it was a robot? Or am I tripping? Lmao
Thinking about getting one of these tbh
You are correct! Some of the transitions still have that in them.
I finally am picking up the MM+ I went with the Retro/Nintendo looking one😊 ❤

It cost me 53 USD on Aliexpress, crazy, good construction quality, 20 emulators and hundreds and hundreds of games, a bargain I tell you
Midel buten with start full screen

So tempted to get one of these, great video my friend.
Yeah, this one is quite good, going to be hard to beat in the price range.
just got mine 2 days ago
It's a good handheld, currently my go-to pocket emulation handheld.
@@Retr0Rob do try fighting games on it it's excellent.
How are the heck did you get a box I keep getting bags
Right? I had only seen grainy and out of focus photos of them until I actually saw one in person!
i waited for this
Glad to finally oblige!
Question ---- does temu send you a lot of emails once you buy from them?
Lol oh heck yes! They are like a crazy ex girlfriend!
Love my miyoo mini plus's
Really cool device! Awesome review! 😊👍
Thank You much!
Please can you tell us how connect this to tv ?
Unfortunately not possible. Take the RG35XX if that is most important for you

They got a Pico 8 emu that can download directly yet? On the RG351 I can just use my P8 PI version I bought years ago.
@@Retr0Rob oh yeah so I believe it uses fake 8 which is right in the file manager, no extra steps, I believe that uses .p8 files.

i still have the normal mini and love it, a real nice handheld
I really want to look at the original: It's a little smaller isn't it?
@@Retr0Rob it is indeed
