Just curious, do you use an external GPS antenna or an OBD2 plugin with the TrackAddict app? I'm doing my first track day in a couple weeks and was trying to decide between it and Harry's Lap Timer. I've heard it can be hit or miss when using the phone's GPS, but wondering if it's necessary to go down the rabbit hole of accessories. Side note, I found your channel when I bought my F-Type R last spring (still bummed you got rid of yours), and I love the content. Keep up the good work!

I was planning on using Harry’s lap timer but never ended up doing so. The track addict app has built in GPS and it will alert you on the signal strength before your hit “record”. The GPS signal strength was good on my home track so I used just the track addict app to record telemetry/video and then I saved it to my computer / phone. I didn’t want to deal with syncing up video and telemetry after the fact. But I may try to later on. Hopefully that answers your question.
