@@Marticus518 it will be my first time too. I’m still unsure of inspection sheet. My car will be stock and driven to the event. It says no antifreeze in system as a check box. Do I really need to drain and run water for track day? Thank you
Great video, I have that same tool kit, it is excellent for a easy carry tool kit that doesnt break the bank and the ratchets even feel good in the hand.
So if I drive my car to the track and I'm alone what do I do with all my stuff when I'm on the track? Do I just leave everything in the parking spot and hope nobody takes stuff?
Basically, yeah. Most track days are fairly closed environments. In the paddock area, there's not a lot of "civilians" walking around, so your stuff is relatively safe from your fellow driver. Pf course, we've herd stories of stuff walking off from track paddocks, but in general the contents of your car are at more risk when it's parked at a mall then when they're laying in your paddock space at a track day.
If you are worried about your stuff being stolen just buy a big pelican case and put a lock on it. It is waterproof and can take a beating. Also the lock might deter some people
*** MOST IMPORTANT TIP YOU LEFT OUT *** Actually finish your project car so you can go to a track day 😂 been staring at my broken down beamer for months now with zero work put into it wishing it was running now that the weather is turning nice again.
Had my first track day about a week ago in my 2012 STi and holy moly was it worth the years of waiting! First one done, many more to come :D
Really excited for you. Welcome to the party!
@@Grassrootsmotorsports Thanks man!

Great advice about sitting in the car with your helmet on and making the necessary adjustments before you show up!
Thanks for the video, just joined NASA Texas Region and going to be starting my HPDE experience
I just started watching the video and I already like this guy.

@Basketball American it's from Harbor freight like he said. It's the Pittsburgh Steal set.. their big tool kit. I think it's about a 210 pice pit
I love your magazine. Thank you!

@@Grassrootsmotorsports gotcha. Yeah I'll trust most people who would be at the track driving
Exactly my question! Thanks for asking and answering.
