  • This is a 20 minute yoga for upper body tension and general back pain relief.
    This is a yoga for beginners sequence however it is gentle and nourishing enough for all levels to practice anytime they need to stretch their upper back, chest and shoulders or for anyone experiencing general upper back pain.
    Doing this yoga class anytime of day will help balance poor posture or achy and sore back muscles from sitting or standing long hours.
    You may even sleep better at night if you do these upper back stretches before bed.

    Wow wow wow!! For a few days I was noticing pain in a variety of places in my back. I have been neglecting my body telling me to stretch/exercise. This video was lovely and if I did not need to go to bed, I would be repeating the movements again. Thank you! I have subscribed. ❤

    Okay FIRST. THAT GATE POSE WAS PERFECTION! I’ve never been able to stretch my side body so well! (That’s where a lot of my tension originates from.)
    Another thing, when we put our knees to the side, my upper back stays in place, but my lower back comes off the floor, is this normal or am I possibly doing something wrong?
    Great sequence, definitely saving this one in my favorites playlist. ❤️😍 namaste birdy.
    Oh also, I’ve been sick. So I allowed myself some down time which is rare. I always just try to push through it causing me to get worse. I’m finally feeling okay (I would get a cold in the middle of a pandemic 😅) anyways, today I tried using my earbuds while doing yoga (virtual learning is still in full effect in this household) and it worked wonders again. Definitely making this my new way of doing yoga. Nothing is able to distract me. 😍

      @@YogaWithBird I looove that alternative bridge move I’ve integrated it into my sequences I do on my own 😍
      Also the time stamp is 14:35. I can’t ever get my legs over. One leg or both, without my lower back coming off the floor. Should I just listen to my body or try and force my back to stay completely on the ground?
