    I cannot get over how incredible this stretch has been for my neck & shoulders!! It’s always taken me 45 minute yoga videos to do what she accomplishes in 20!!

      I've been having a pinched shoulder to neck nerve pain for a week, and typed shoulder and neck yoga and came to this video. will keep doing this to heal !

    your videos make me always come back to them! as someone who's suffered from chronic anxiety for most of my life this video gives me more relief than hours of physiotherapy. i've carried stress on my body since childhood and this has helped me with migraines and has also given me peace in my mind. thank you so much for introducing me to yoga and using movement to heal. i owe you alot!

    Thank you for this routine! This works amazingly to loosen up the upper back and cervical spine within the neck area. By the end of this session, the burning in the upper back and shoulders was gone!

    this is by far the best video on youtube for shoulders neck and upper back, and trust me i've done em all!! i do yoga everyday and it's helped a lot with my posture but working at a computer all day gets me super tight/is where i've always carried tension.

    I was just diagnosed with TMJ and need to start each day with some stretches to relax all the tension I hold in my neck and shoulders from clenching my jaw. I said out loud several times during this class, "I love you" (and a few swear words). That was incredible, thank you! (and I LOVED the birds in the background how relaxing)

    Always knew I carried tons of tension in shoulders and neck... This is a wonderful practice and I will keep coming back to it. Realize how much flexibility I've lost and too much tension gained.

    Up until now I didn’t realize how much pain can negatively shift your mood... I’ve had shoulder and neck pain for months, about the whole year actually. Chiropractor would help for a short while then it would go right back, after doing this video and staying in a few of the stretches a bit longer... my neck pain is gone!!! AND THE HEAVY CLOUD WHICH HAS BEEN HANGING OVER MY HEAD WEIGHING ON MY LIFE HAS ALSO LIFTED! Such a blessing. I can go forth and function normally now. Thank you Erin.

    Well, I’m just getting back at incorporating exercise and stretching into my daily routine and haven’t done yoga practice in a long time. I even trained to be a basic instructor at a YMCA. I should have been doing it and then I wouldn’t have all the pains and headaches over the last few years... I realized that even though I have released a lot of tension, there are still some very stiff areas I have to work on when I tried to to some of these poses. I confess I wanted to give up, but I did my best and will continue to work on it. I have to admit that I did feel a little better when she admitted she had a tight, uncomfortable area in her shoulders, like she’s human just like the rest of us. I liked that. I will use this video regularly. Thanks!

    thank you very much. I was feeling a lot of tension and pain in my upper back and during this practice i felt the pain and the temperature moving from my upper back out. Now i am more relaxed. I still feel my upper back getting hot but i know it's a sign of releasing. Thank you another time.

    I have serious serious chronic pain all over neck back head and shoulders and even arms. All over every spot in my body. I wouldnt be able to live without people like you. I seriously probably would have killed myself because DRS DONT CARE. Being abused thru my life was one of the things that aided in the pain. The last few months i have new pain that is on my shoulder blade and goes to my neck and into my ear and wraps around my head. Thats the WORST. I found you recently and omg this is my favorite!!! If we ever lose the net and the shit has hit the fan in america like prophecy says ....im doomed. Cos this is all that helps me! I need to remember all these moves! Thank you! God bless you!

    I've been a dancer my whole life, practised yoga almost half of that time, and probably had neck and shoulder pain most of my adult life! I thought I knew all the neck and shoulder releases under the sun...but no you've shown me some new ones Adriene! Thanks for reminding me there is always a new angle to look at it from, and a new way to release. This has really helped me during my travels.     This is a fantastic neck stretch yoga - one of the best I've found on TH-cam. I would love it if you did more videos and longer videos on neck stretching and strengthening!

    Wow! I just started massage school and UPS truck loading, and my body has been getting tense in my back. I just did your lower back pain, upper back pain, and this video and I've felt a good release from a pain I wasn't sure how to get at. I've done Ana Brett's Kundalini yoga videos for 6 years, and this is one of the first times I've ventured out from her teachings and not been disappointed. Thank you. Seriously- especially for making this freely available. What goes around comes around, and this was a blessing.
