- Today we are joined by @NewsNowYorkshire as we take a walk around HM Prison Onley, Rugby CV23 8AP.
We speak to the stores guys, find some illegal number plates and then meet the Prison Staff who was not very happy to see us on the public areas.
Once the inspection is finished, we find a suitable place outside of the FRZ to take the drone up for a birds eye view.

When you bump up against prison staff, the thing you have to realize is they are used to being obeyed because they normally have total power over who they are ordering around. It explains why they get so aggressive.

I would be going with the belief that it is publicly funded property that is not readily accessible by the public unless stated otherwise, usually called tacit consent.
Yes it is IN SOME CASES. Such as Crown Property. That is paid for out of the public purse, or at least partly, but the public are strictly forbidden forbidden to wander around some of it taking pictures. The Crown Jewels room springs to mind for exactly the same reasoins filming in and around prisons.

What percentage of prisoners there are invaders? In Australia at our super max we have FOUR prisoners who are NOT invaders. The remainder of the 2,000 prisoners are foreign invaders.

More white students stole from nearby shops than black students, but more black students got caught due to the intensity they were watched. By your faulty logic, more black students were stealing because more got caught than white students.

The lady/mother/prison officer at the end is a credit to her employers and I get the feeling she has the same manner towards the people she works with ie the prisoners. And like always I stayed for the banging soundtracks that go along with the smooth as silk drone footage. I can work out to your drone flights. That’s some adrenaline inducing music 👍🏽🤩🇬🇧

When I was inside, I used to say that the difference between inmates and screws is that screws have been caught for one less thing than the inmates have. Thank you for leveling the playing field a little by exposing the disregard of some for the road traffic act. Hypocrisy is always bad but from screws is especially abhorrent.

LMFAO I have never laughed so much in my life trespass on its own is a civil matter nothing to do with the police if he had committed aggravated trespass like hauled himself onto a train track broken through fences barriers gates etc then that would be considered aggravated or forced entry into someone's house that is criminal but him being there isn't at all criminal he hasn't done any of the above I mentioned i.e. broken doors barriers gates etc to force entry onto their property or land

I've heard of trespassing in private property like in your house or shop premises. But trespass on public property. Never ever heard of that.
The custodial officer looks like she played rugby at the weekend, the red guy needed to sit down and rest, rich ended up being a ref and NNY is good company.

Hi DJ, good work as ever, this one gives me the idea that just as the Karen deserves the name so does Keith, watching Keith and Karen who does not even hear herself saying she will report you for trespass on public property, four solid minutes of outrageous demands, she has asked you to move, at no time did you not hear her, her complaint was that you did not obey.
The way you handle these encounters is always quite interesting but it is very sad that there are so many around like poor bossy Karen.

From the drone footage, that shut down prison looks creepy and has a bit of an evil vibe and not one just caused by the prisoners but the staff/guards.
Perhaps it should be staff accommodation and linked to the other prisons... and only the other prisons (not the outside world)...! 🤔
I had to look up what a borstal meant and the thought of youth possibly held there at some point in time made it seem all the more sinister. We know how deranged and kniving the minds of some of the psychopaths in charge with power can be.

Yet commercial employees call 999 and the old bill turn up 10 fold to protect.

You were near my home town of Rugby I think 9 months ago...I can't remember the video (I guess around Feb 22') but I remember you had an interaction with a PC from Rugby Station and you said you were going to audit it. I did look but couldn't find it, did you audit it?
Just so you known though, Rugby is in Warks officially, Warks has a Cov postcode CV22, but we always put Warks as the county in letters and official docs, you see a lot of Warks shields around on official buildings. I know you were in Onley...basically there are a few populated areas around here and you can travel just five mins in a car and 'officially' be in one of several different counties. Rugby is in Warks, Crick is in Northamptonshire (even though it's really part of south Rugby!). Only 18 miles NE is Market Harborough officially in Leicestershire. It's complicated!
Actually you'd be hard pushed to find a place much more in the center of England than Rugby (of course home of the sport and of the Jet Engine)...certainly as far as the most populated areas go anyway. I think I remember as a youth hearing Barby just around 4 miles SE of Rugby claims to be the center of England...officially it's in Northamptonshire though 🤔. Barby has 2k, Rugby likely well over 80k. Lovely village though! 😀
Rugby is of course home to the sport and the Jet Engine. Okay Whittle was born in Cov but the first prototype was built in Rugby.

I have seen the way women behave when in dominant numbers in a position of power. I am a professional in a job like that.

Many years ago I worked on a checkout in a filling station owned by a major retail company. Every morning various public servants would come in for fuel, coffee and freshly baked. There were one group of public servants who were most unwelcome as they treated our staff like a piece of dirt, that group being prison officers. In my experience, I never met one decent prison officer and in my opinion they are nothing but scum. Horrible vile people.
