Or tell 999 operators that you are about to defend yourself and protect your family by taking the burglars out, even mention using a weapon. Before you end the call you'll have armed response on the way or at least non armed police. Its a sad world when you have to play the system just to protect everything you've worked hard for and yourself/family.
i once had my student house broken into. I rang 999 and the 'police lady' asked me 'how many of them are there?' i replied: 'shall i go downstairs and find out ?'
First copper had typical attitude problem asserting his interpretation of non-existent laws and using intimidation tactics from the outset. What I find incredible is the response; pretty sure I could phone 999 and say there were intruders in my home and I'd be lucky if I saw a PCSO within a week or so who'd only be interested in giving me a crime reference number for my insurers. Policing in the UK is an absolute joke.
If you rang up and said ' there was an intruder in your home ' that is a crime in progress and you should get a response . If you get home and find the burglar has long gone you wont .

Notice how early and often they get the notebook out, in the arrogant assumption that their target is going to bend to their intimidation and submit their details.
The electronic tag on the sign is for security patrols. Several tags are placed on a patrol route and they have to scan it on their phone to log their patrols so the company know they are conducting the patrols

Great interaction and hats off to the armed response lads, just chatted and joked like normal people uniform aside as all should. Great video. Great interaction from the armed response duo, down to earth, friendly, sense of humour and willing to listen. Bet he’s ex forces. The leading officer jumped in feet first with his mind already made up you were committing an offence even though he clearly did not know the drone regs. Luckily he had the armed response boys there to keep him level headed otherwise I could have seen that going down hill.
Unlike in the US where every cop is armed to the teeth except in the brain department, our armed police are well trained intelligent individuals who generally do not over react and know the law. I would expect nothing less from them that the professional manner in which they attended this call. Good job by all concerned including DJ
"no no no we are not here because we are a firearms unit. Nothing to do with the fact that we got called because you are filming a Hekler and Koch firearms manufacturing company. Oh no, not at all, total and complete coincidence.....honest"
I'm not sure if the armed unit knew why they were called, although any response to this unit would trigger an automatic call for an armed unit. The unit is as you found, belongs to an arms dealer and manufacturer, Heckler & Koch. Inside are stored weapons and munitions. A nice target for a raid, hence the fast call out.
Auditing done properly. Great interaction on both sides. Most other auditors go for the antagonistic approach, which doesn't look good. Your approach on the other hand is how it should be done.
I like how I can't view answers to your comments. 'show answers'..nothing. I think it's still bit meekly way of auditing. Whole movement is about your civil rights. Flexing. Once you give them up like DJ does constantly - you strayed from the original goal. I like how polite he is and I really don't like outright aggresive auditors(guess who I am talking about, not AB) - as we are in need of rebuilding the bridge of trust between society and police. Do you really think it's a good way to start by 'negotiating down your innate civil rights'? And I am quoting FP here. I think it's not. Cause you not only handle to the government ways of deal with this, you forget original idea behind it. And do you think government will not use opportunity to strike into weakness? Learn patterns, bring about memos with active auditors, prepare the reponse? They sure will. They are doing it as we speak. As we say 'strong against weak, weak against strong' is the police motto.
Nicely handled as usual 😂😂 Over all a laid back encounter. First copper needs to spend a bit more time with his head in a law book, instead of his foot in his mouth, typical I know the law, but only his ego thinks he does. But to be fair he did the right thing and checked and admitted he was wrong. DJ 10/10 POLICE 8/10
Well done sir. I can imagine a different outcome with some of our other auditors, so it was great to see you being in control from start to finish. Just one remark about their security. Unless they've defended their party walls, entry by ramming could surely be effected by going next door first through their undefended warehouse roller shutter, then through the party wall. Surely this wouldn't be overlooked, would it? I think not. Btw, the ventilation shaft in the ground is a common sight on reclaimed land to disperse gas build up.
this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people in public and in government buildings , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950, Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law
Why do they give opinions and orders when they don’t know the law? He didn't know the law, spouted lies about drones and private property and you thought he was alright? He then gave out information regarding "sensitive items" in the unit, "Loose lips sinks ships" springs to mind. And as for the armed response, they knew what the premises were. As a retired officer you knew the sensitive premises in your area, you had to know to send the correct response.

Those cops were mint. Best cops attitudes iv seen
Someone breaking in your house they don't show up, yet all these muppets turn up for you....Disgrace !!!
take photos of them breaking in and they will come in minutes
Huge robbing epidemic in Ireland, police won't respond.
I rang 999 and the 'police lady' asked me 'how many of them are there?'
i replied: 'shall i go downstairs and find out ?'
@@TwilightMom90 I agree with you 100%..
Yes, but if you add "I have licenced firearms I am worried they might be looking for" you'll get an armed response quickly as well
The number one favourite call for any copper is burglary in progress. Its the call handlers that are usually pretty careless
@@MementoMori-xx5qo BOLLOX
Behaviour problem.
If you rang up and said ' there was an intruder in your home ' that is a crime in progress and you should get a response . If you get home and find the burglar has long gone you wont .
Your work acts as a learning curve for police officers.
And Auditors!
And security guards.....list goes on....
For some, it will be too steep.
jesus murphy they shud know what hteyre doing. if you take your car to the garage do you have to train the mechanic?????
That would be handy if the had the capability learn!
Great find! I loved the intercom conversation. They need a big sign, "Guns and Bullets Stored in Here".
How pleasant person you are! Of all audits channels, I love your channel and enjoyed conversations between yourself and police officers. Your polite attitude is making this channel very special. Big thumbs up + subscribed! Thank you for uploading the video! 😃👍👍
First cop had an attitude. As for the ARV officers. Well done. Good representation of your force, and uniform.
So aircraft on final approach have to swerve left to right to avoid private property do they ? Bloody fools.
And don't look out of the plane window...
@@MikeEves There was that factory in Boston, on the approach. The owner got pissed off the noise etc, he painted a very large sign on his roof. Welcome to Chicago.
@@Nickle314 that's a good one, wonder if any pilots got confused, lol.
Have you never heard of flightpaths?
@@zigzagtoes I think welcome to Belgium on the Stansted approach would be funny.
Notice how early and often they get the notebook out, in the arrogant assumption that their target is going to bend to their intimidation and submit their details.
The Notebook and pen out thing is a psychological trick they play ...
The electronic tag on the sign is for security patrols. Several tags are placed on a patrol route and they have to scan it on their phone to log their patrols so the company know they are conducting the patrols
Thankyou from one year in the future, i was hoping someone knew. 👍
Fair enough. But still an interesting observation.
That number plate wasn't illegal 😂😂
Can already tell these officers are going to get a lesson on drone legislation in this one 👍
Not really. Their ignorance let's them poke and pry more than is necessary.
Now that 'Control' (briefly) educated him, at least one will be scrambling around t'internet trying to find anything that a pilot could possibly be arrested for.
"These drone idiots, Sarg, is there anything at all we can nick 'em for?"
"If they're over a working factory, they're technically flying over crowds of people. CAA says no, so try that one."
Next time they'll ask for the drones name... haha
It’s funny when they get mixed up with what you can and can’t do with sub 250g drones. They start quoting the legislation for heavier drones.
@@Radictor44 No names needed. Drones over 249grams require you to display your CAA registration number on them..... If you are flying a drone over 249 grams, and it is not registered, you are operating outside the law, and are liable to prosecution, a fine and your equipment confiscated.
"You can't fly over private land" Could you imagine the implications to airlines if that was the case lol
Trouble us they dont engage the brain before they speak (if they have a brain that is)
@@reddevil3874 They share one brain cell.
That’ll explain why Ryanair landings are so bad. The pilots were weaving around every building to get to the end of the runway.
You have heard the phrase "the lights are on but nobody is home"? Imagine a power cut
Ryanair would still do what they want and ignore the law 😂🤣
A great interaction DJ. You are excellent at showing respect when it is deserved, and here, it was deserved. The police were great with you and a credit to the force. I'm happy that the police are now aware that there are people like you about, and that they can show professionality and respect when needs be. (10 out of 10 for DJ and the Police).
Best bunch of cops for a long time DJ being friendly makes you love them more we all need love
Aw that makes sense David the Drone. Just binge watched about 20 videos and up until now I just thought you’d named your drone David randomly , didn’t realise it stood for anything. Legend x
Your manners set you apart from the rest. That officer got it right, you are a lot nicer than the rest. Kudos bro you're killing it!
Brilliant. School the police on drone laws, love it! Unfortunately there’s so much ignorance about drone legislation, and it feels like we have an uphill struggle all the time, especially when “the law” don’t know “the law” when I comes to the CAA and drones. Keep it up, enjoy watching your videos. Cheers 😁
What gets me is how easy it is to learn yet seemingly the police have no training on it.
A lot of time, money and bother could be saved if the ones who receive these calls at the call center were educated on the rules for filming in public.
I love the way they get the note pad out thinking that they are going to get your details 😂😂😂
I'm going to get my own notepad. Ask them their shoe size and other random things

actually a pleasant interaction with the police, always nice to see
One of the better ones I have seen, think both sides worked well together. Nice to see the police being open and honest and having good bants.
Another absolutely fantastic video. More of these videos and stay safe PLEASE.
Great interaction and hats off to the armed response lads, just chatted and joked like normal people uniform aside as all should. I think their presence and attitude rubbed off on the first constable and brought him down a few notches, when he saw them treating you with courtesy and realising very quickly you were no threat. So great result. H&K interesting....home of the MP5, brilliant weapon.
Another really enjoyable video. How refreshing to see the positive side of good policing. Why can't we have more officers like them on our streets
Great video! Clearly the extra training is worth the money, when you see Police officers interacting so calm and professional. 👍
I love when they get out the notebook and pen thinking your going to get id details shame on the cops and goes back in pocket lol bunch of Muppets lol
I love the way they pull out the pad and pen with intent, it goes away tho very quietly 😂
However they were alright weren’t they… but it took you being so educated and articulate and your lovely manner to disarm them 👍🏽👌🏽
Great interactions showing how officers should conduct themselves. Drone information training a must.
They could do as many drone courses as you care to imagine & they would still be called out to incidents like this by the dispatchers & they would still atttend. Just a waste of taxpayers money.
Tyrants
The male cop was struggling and nervous. Kept reaching for his pnb and pen, classic sign of a cop struggling
I love how they reach for the big scary notepad right away
Then having to put it away again😂
A bloke I know had his car stole last week and they managed to find it on social media with the theif sat on bonnet of car posing and police told him it doesn't prove he stole it and didn't turn out , they must have been busy on this one???
My Son 12 was picked up by a taxi driver, who asked him if he wanted to go for doughnuts, reported it to police with a statement, woman copper said 'he could have been a genuine nice man' no further action. Unbelievable.
Omg 😲
@@edmundblackaddercoc8522 i can't imagine sending my kid off with a taxi driver alone. you failed as a parent right there. also, what do you want the copper to do? say yea, he was a pedo, lets go nick him, throw him in jail, and edmund of blackadders kids might have a chance.
The officer gave the game away running his mouth off till the others intervened laughable when he got his little note pad out then tried to tell you that you couldn't fly your drone 🤔 lots of education needed for this lot what a true professional you are putting them to shame great work till next time 👍❤️
Decent cops.....refreshing.
that as to be the one of the best Audits yet well done
Oh the details crap came out straight away.
DJ, I love the way you handled this interaction with the police, you gained the officers' respect very quickly.
Asking for details before it's been established there may be a crime. Asking for details whilst unable to establish there may be a crime due to not knowing the drone laws. Shocking.
You easily disarm them with your knowledge, articulation and a pleasant demeanour. This was a particular good one DJ. Keep it up fella...
Great bunch of coppers. Nice one lads
Excellent response, especially under the circumstances. This is the standard of public policing we should see everywhere.
So, well done guys, you set a fine example o/

Your videos resulted in a purchase of one of these drones. Absolutely incredible. & with all the knowledge as to where & how to safely use it. I've some exciting times ahead. Keep up the good work.😊
Well done and a pleasant change to have the police be so friendly.
"Why are you doing this lawful activity?"
Because I can! Isn't it wonderful living in a free country, officer?
Unlike in the US where every cop is armed to the teeth except in the brain department, our armed police are well trained intelligent individuals who generally do not over react and know the law. I would expect nothing less from them that the professional manner in which they attended this call. Good job by all concerned including DJ
So very respectful, and as the police said, you’re much nicer than someone else, I like the attitude, politeness not arrogance, my audit to follow now
"no no no we are not here because we are a firearms unit.
"...you're not supposed flying a drone (over) private property...." Look at the legislation and thereafter speak up😜😜
Nice audit all round good DJ and great police too win win all round👌🤝
One of your best interactions - top job
That was a great a video DJ , I enjoyed every min .
What have ever done to Officer 304 ?
Auditing done properly. Great interaction on both sides. Most other auditors go for the antagonistic approach, which doesn't look good. Your approach on the other hand is how it should be done.
"Auditor"?
No mate. They are just fucking nosey bastards.
Great video and no bad cops on this one!
Police were really excellent and highly commendable…. We need more cops like this… Very proud of these guys… They are a credit to the force!

The armed officers were their for you and they knew exactly what was in the building.
Totally agree with you on that as stated in print at 24:25 "Unwanted callers are discouraged by rapid armed response from Nottingham police"
Even if they didn't know as individuals, they were likely despatched there specifically because of the nature of the site.
Nicely handled as usual 😂😂
Over all a laid back encounter.
First copper needs to spend a bit more time with his head in a law book, instead of his foot in his mouth, typical I know the law, but only his ego thinks he does.
But to be fair he did the right thing and checked and admitted he was wrong.
DJ 10/10
POLICE 8/10
Well done sir. I can imagine a different outcome with some of our other auditors, so it was great to see you being in control from start to finish.
Just one remark about their security. Unless they've defended their party walls, entry by ramming could surely be effected by going next door first through their undefended warehouse roller shutter, then through the party wall. Surely this wouldn't be overlooked, would it? I think not.
Btw, the ventilation shaft in the ground is a common sight on reclaimed land to disperse gas build up.
Very good point.
this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people in public and in government buildings , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950, Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law
I love the level of trolling, they don't even catch on hahhaha, love your stuff mate. Cheers from N.Ireland
AS MUCH AS I THINK MOST COPS ARE JUST CORRUPT WITH ABUSIVE POWER IM BEGINING TO FEEL LIKE THE UK POLICE ARE MORONS. LITTERALLY THE DUMBEST COPS ON THE PLANET
