The public footpath takes you right up to the barrier which was missing so we ask how long it has been broken for.
We look at the Sports Car gate guardian, have a confrontation with security and then take the drone over for a good look around.

I had the same issue with my Mini2, used DJI Refresh to get a replacement, sold the brand new replacement and upgraded to the Mini 3. It’s a mighty upgrade!

Great work from DJ - superb handling, footage and structure. Full marks for following the cutaway section Ford Edge on the trailer (which presumably wasn't self propelled). Apart from Diet Coke Kevin man the security guard were certainly the Ronseal of security guards. Another Ten from Len !

The problem with the barriers are that they get broken quite often, and there are only about 9 barrier companies covering the whole of the uk and parts are difficult to come by currently
time to start up a barrier company then lets go!!!!
I work on these Barriers on a daily basis probably be quicker to order a whole unit rather than parts😂

I do think DJ is a bit hard on them about stuff like that. Its a manned gate house, its not like its ever left unattended. Things do take time to repair and tradesmen do get booked out.
Where I worked we had six barriers and you could more or less at least once every month at least one of them would be hit by a tanker or flat back. Getting parts is not always straight forward. Some insurance companies want to send out loss adjusters before they admit liability.
Just to educate you... you can't just put a new gate up if insurance companies are involved, what if there was an old crappy iron gate and they replaced it with an automatic reinforced steel one at much greater cost, doesn't work like that I'm afraid... also it's a private company, has nothing to do with you haha.

Not nessasaily true. They could have just had their gates and barrier INSIDE their property. Gates and fences don't always denote property lines. I dont know if this was the case here but one has to be careful of where the actual property lines are when determining what authority an employee or a guard of that property has. Gates/barriers and fences are just that it and don't nessasary denote property boundaries.

It is true. I worked for TMMC (Toyota motor manufacturing Canada) we did get discounts on buying cars we made. We made the lexus RX450...so 10k off a 80k vehicle was still not a good buy.
My dad worked for and retired from GM plant in Detroit. He and his immediate family got discounts on vehicles. Even after his death the discount transferred to my mom and me and my brothers. It has since timed out for some reason.

An interesting place to visit is Cricks rail terminal. As both Tesco and Malcolms have containers coming on/off there.
Malcolms also delivers Glass bottles to Carlsberg in Northampton, as well as many other breweries. (You'd have a fun time with some of the security in there!!)
One interesting fact, going over the slightest bumps with a trailer stacked floor to ceiling of Glass bottles, can end up with thousands of glass bottles being shattered, and the curtains bulging as it keeps all that glass in...
