How To Install Detroit Speed's 1979-93 Foxbody Mustang EXO Brace

The Detroit Speed EXO Brace fixes a notorious failure point on the Fox Body platform. This is the point where the upper links mount to the chassis. The factory torque boxes weaken over time and are known to tear or even rip completely out of the vehicle. Losing an upper link mount can result in unpredictable handling and is dangerous at any speed. Detroit Speed has developed an effective bolt-on (or weld-in) solution that improves the rigidity of the torque box, prevents damage to the chassis, and improves the safety of the vehicle. It ties the link pockets into the frame & floor pan on both sides & connects the two boxes side-to-side with a telescoping feature. Definitely plan to install this down the road. I have yet to buy the standard torque boxes but this kit looks nice. I doubt you even need to weld but for insurance purposes I get it. Extremely nice kit.
Ended up getting the kit after all. Very nice kit. It's somewhat easy to install but I highly recommend 2 people. It can be done with one but it isn't easy. IMO best kit on the market for strength

That’s amazing I’d love to see a kit to make instant center adjustments like and adjustable torque box kit.

I dont understand the point of your instant center adjustment. The front bolt location on the upper arm needs to be moved DOWN in order to make a significant improvement in instant center location and anti-squat values. Assuming the car was lowered one inch along with moving into your upper IC hole. the Anti-Squat value of the car will change from 80%, to 22%, which is awful!
This piece of trash product is currently $430 on the major mustang parts sites, where as the Wild Rides S-Box kit, which is an infinitely superior product, is $30 less and actually gives USEFUL improvement and adjustment.

Seam like they need to do more engineering to have it fit without shims and spacers.

problem is these cars dont fit like gloves, especially if they have been beat on which 95% of these cars have and they all vary in how they are shaped so a precise fitment would not be possible
