Nah, I disagree at least on the Fire Emblem Predication, if Arlo played the game he would've realized the game is done and over with there is nothing ton continue with honestly after the events. Its more likely to be a remake of the Tellius Series or Ike's games As a Fire Emblem fan over the years that has been the trend that IS makes an official game followed by a remake or new game entirely as of late

i love how in depth arlo goes on all of these predictions. its almost like he's actually looking at games from an alternate universe and just describing them to us.
Honestly, between Island Getaway, Breath of the Void and Breath of Malice, he should consider doing full videos on hypothetical entries into Nintendo franchises.

Really wish they'd throw him a bone and make one of his predictions a reality, especially considering how damn popular his Animal Crossing idea became.

Hey, Arlo was pretty close with the Pokemon Snap announcement. He said February trailer, May release date and we got a January trailer with an April release date.
Well the January trailer was stuff we already knew but there was a February trailer that did a lot so he was even more right

@Neburay There are so many cool ideas that they could do. Just the idea of exploring Dedede’s castle in 3D is amazing. I would love it if there were multiple characters to play as and collectibles were hidden behind certain abilities. It’d be like Mario odyssey and DK 64 put together. But yeah definitely more lore and love for bandanna dee. The more he gets the more likely he is to be in smash. We really just need a change from 2D and I think HAL knows that.

Honestly, the boldest prediction in this video is that remakes of Diamond & Pearl, games beloved for being great at all of the things that recent Pokemon games have not been, will be "at least as good as the originals."
To be fair, people look back fondly on Sinnoh because of Platinum rather than Diamond and Pearl. Honestly I'm worried that the remakes will be too much like D/P, with the lack of pokemon diversity, terrible elite four teams, and lack of Distortion World (not to mention the postgame island with the resorts, although i doubt those are coming back). In sword and shield some NPC mentions that Dynamax is only possible in Galar which would be very hype (I'm not the biggest fan of the mechanic), but Game Freak will probably find some way to bring it over like they did for mega evolution in OR/AS.

Pokemon made a newDP website along with the rest of the anniversary celebration websites a few days ago. Pretty much confirms remakes.
For real. Immense doubts on that one especially with how much the current games have been stripped down since the feature-rich golden age of gen IV
I still would very much have a Platinum remake instead of two separate games, since it has a lot of content, but we all know TPC/GF likes their already assured money

While DP remakes are most likely coming out at the end of this year, let’s not forget that since ORAS, all Pokemon mainline series games have come out mid November and I don’t expect that to change this year either.

Metroidvania games need to be much bigger now, than they were in SNES days. Indie metroidvanias are huge and cost $20-$30. A $60 price tag for a short game would be ridiculous
@@lh9591 After playing through all of Hollow Knight and seeing how much content Team Cherry put into the game including the free DLC all for just 15 bucks, a $60 metroidvania just doesn't fit in to the current ecosystem

Theory: Since Arlo predicted Nintendo Directs in 2020 and we got none, that means Nintendo does the opposite of what he says. He predicted no Directs in 2021, so that means we will get them.
tbh i do think thats gonna be the case. i think no directs was because of corona and while I do actually like the partner showcases i don't think they're getting rid of them and if they are PLEASE FIND BETTER WAYS OF ANNOUNCING YOUR GAMES RATHER THAN JUST POSTING A VIDEO ON TWITTER

As cool as Arlo's concept of a “Wireframe” character sounds, it sounds like it would involve a LOT of complicated programming to make work.

Don't think it would be complicated that to implement, just convoluted an confusing. I personally think it is a bad idea and something that nintendo would not agree
since you can't realistic have one character have all the moves of the game at the same time, think about the massive list of moves that players would need to go to customize 1 character. and the time that someone would need to spend before playing one character that no one really cares, nintendo would easily think that it is not good, because it would make the casual player confused and overwhelmed
Speaking as fan of Steve and hopeful for Agumon with digivolving: it does really sound like too much to ask. Like the Mii fighters are what fills Smashs "create a character" slot and I don't know why he expects a customizable fighter to come in DLC form.

My wild, never-going-to-happen game prediction: Kid Icarus Warriors
Uprising had such a good cast and honestly I just want to see them interact with each other.
I would pay a good deal more then typical to get a sequel to uprising.
I had an idea called Kid Icarus: Descent. Pit would be sent down into Tartarus after it opens up for spoilery story reasons. It would play like the land missions from Uprising but as a sort of metroidvania. Save points would be places where you could get beamed back up to Palutena's temple and change up weapons or play Uprising style missions with air and land battles that unlock after making progress in Tartarus. It's a massive pipe dream. But I think it would be so cool.

Don't get me wrong, I loved 3 houses a lot, but there's no way that they could make a sequel to 3 Houses without being forced to pick a route that is Canon and this sequel would have to take place assuming that the first one had happened, which with the design of the 3 Houses they wanted it to be so none of the routes felt like they were the correct option and they could all have been the right path for you to take. Not to mention I don't think there's anything that they could do with the characters and story anymore. They could do something that exists in the Fódlan realm, but I don't think they will and I think the next fire emblem game will probably be completely original
A Fire Emblem Genealogy remake in the vein of Echoes and Three Houses has been theorized for a while
Since that would clear out more of the backlog of "fe games the west never got" it seems plausible
I've also heard rumors of a Path of Radiance remake, but it seems so off to remake a more recent game that already had a localization than one that's older and didn't so I'm iffy on that.
@@riguor9876 I would also love a remake in the echoes style of any of those Japanese games. But a sequel of sorts to 3 houses is not something I'd want to see because I feel like the politics of Fódlan have been thoroughly played through and unless they wanna do something like dagda, Brigid, Almyra, etc I'd be down to see that but a sequel picking up right where three houses left off wouldn't work at all and I think that we've seem everything for the characters we got this time. I've heard that rumor too. I was just making a comment on what Arlo said and how I really hope that prediction doesn't come true
So just make 3 sequels that are very similar to each other gameplay wise but have completely different narratives, and charge $60 for each of them. This... Both fits with how Nintendo's treated FE as a franchise before, and their... Unique... approach to continuity.
I think a prequel set during the war with nemesis would be pretty cool, but I don't see how a sequel would work

Arlo's prediction about a sequel I feel like shows that he hasn't actually played the game which is fine it's not for everyone, but I would still recommend in general not making comments about things when you don't understand them. And I don't think the fanbase as a whole wants to see more three houses. A lot of them have gotten very burned out on it to the point where if you go onto the fire emblem subreddit and asked everyone what their least favorite game in the series is, you'd get about half of them saying three houses

I very firmly believe that Porky is going to be in smash. He doesn't have a spirit. Even though spirits don't deconfirm fighters anymore (which terrifies me), the fact that he doesn't have a spirit really makes me super sure he's getting in. Like, Ness's dad has a spirit, but Porky doesn't? The closest thing would be the Absolutely Safe Capsule, but that certainly doesn't count. I think it'd be a great tie in with a Mother 3 port, but even if it's just Porky, that's good too.

I don't get why Porky himself aint in the game. I highly doubt he would be a fighter but with this villains and hero's theme, it might be possible.
Maybe some new project or remake is in store for the Mother/Earthbound series and he will help promote it as DLC?

The fact that they're getting rid of 3D all stars makes me believe they'll bring Gamecube and Wii games to switch online.
I’m guessing N64 during the first part of the year and GameCube for second half. Considering we got nothing added last year

This is totally unrealistic, but what if Nintendo releases the games separetly, but they are full own remakes with the option to play them with their original graphics. People who bought 3D All Stars will get all for free as some sort of big update or in another way
