Well done, mate. Let us know when you update with material list! Look forward to replacing my own shed doors.
It should be up. Thanks for watching.
Love the video. Exactly what I was looking for and your explanation of everything is very easy to follow. I had an idea of how to construct but you added to finer details
Thanks for the feedback!
Well done. Those look like great sturdy doors to go onto a well built shed. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Excellent video! Well Done!
Thx!
Good information 🎉
Thanks 🙌
Keep it up!
Thanks!!!
Half lap joints would make it even stronger, but your design should work fine with the panels sandwiching the framing.
Also, with that style latch you need to drill a hole and thread some string/cordage through and tie it to the top of the latch to prevent getting locked in. I've typically seen people use a barrel latch on the top of the left side door to attach it to the top of the door frame for added stability.
Great points, in next shed I’ll try to incorporate some of these. Thanks
I want to build a double door but I have one problem and hope you can help me. The left door the ground slops up and I need the door swing up so it won't drag on the cement.
Any ideas? Thanks
How do you prevent rodents from getting in the shed through gaps in the door? I have a similar style door and with the changes in temperature the gaps expand or contract
Great question…. That should make a great video. Let me look into it. Thanks
Metal plating on the threshold/sill usually helps. At least down at the bottom where they're most likely to try and slip in. Metal is much harder for their little claws to grab onto in order to climb up and in. It also serves as an edge protector!
When will the list of material be available?
Apparently never
Are you blind?
Sorry, it took so long... it should be there.
Sorry buddy, I forgot to add the link... it's there now. Thanks for watching.
@@EverydayShed anyone who has half a brain could see all the material needed simply by watching the video
How did you square those doors up?
I used the actual OSB as a guide to keep the framing square.
So if the wind closes the door while you're in it, you are stuck!!
Lol,.. I’ll add a pull chain from the inside in the final video. Unless I get stuck inside
what about overlap so rain don't blow in.
good point! My next door shed will definitely have overlaps. I like your idea.
skilsaw not circular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SKIL is a brand.
Hahaha.. Sure..
