I had to subscribe to this channel JUST because of the amount off effort the guys have gone through to make this project clear and easy to understand. WELL DONE LADS!!! Keep producing content like this.
Thank you for subscribing and supporting us, we really appreciate it 😊
Seconded!
Maintenance of them back & side cedar walls is going to be a dream !. Always build off your perimeter, everyone !.
Built outside the property boundary! Roof overhang 300mm, slab laid to fence line. Doh!
Slab isn't laid to the fence line, and the fence line is further from the property line; look closer. There's also a view where you can see as they're doing the mitres for the roof that the overhang most likely ends at the fence line. It's also worth saying that may not be the property boundary - it might be their own garage next door, and that their party wall agreement may permit overhangs (this is fairly common now as our roof structures often overhang from build stage in order to maximise the number of properties you can fit on a site.
Love the build. From what I can tell every step is optional but "DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS"!!! 🤣 In a world filled with DIY that do everything from scratch is nice to see a DIY video where you show there are very good "out of the box" solutions to building something. Again, great video. It was so easy to follow and could be straight up an official building guide. 👍👍
😊🙏🏼
@@homeimprovements.
What a really great clear explanation! Nice job guys 😊
Thank you! 😃

Great Channel And excellent easy to understand instructions
I had a similar position for a room and just couldn't wait to see how you fixed the screws on the side with the fence! Didn't have the pleasure. Maybe for the next one!
the space was too tight, i think it would have been nice to show how they fitted them. is they did that is. 🤣
Great work lads!!
Love the long form videos as well as the YT shorts
Thank you for your support, we appreciate it!
We need this kit in America! Very nice, thick insulated panels. Nice work.
Hi Home Channel, excellent video, I'm seriously impressed with this building, the way you all have built this is stunning. You have given me food for thought for my project at home. Kind regards Danny 👍
Thank you, we appreciate your support Danny
Very clear and understandable instructions. Best I've seen in ages.
Nice but how would you fit electrics in there without ruining the walls? Would look very nice with downlights in the soffit
Wow you pros make it look so easy. great job. Love how you explained the bits not in the manual too. well done boys.
Thank you 👍
Awesome 👍
So, how do you stop the rain flowing down the panels & into the base channels, then flowing back into the "drain-slots" & into the building, as the foam tape will have joints in it, plus the tape would really be to stop draughts...🤔
Yeah, seems like the bottom channel should be an L rather than U section
This was going to be my exact question... isn't the U channel just going to fill up with water during the first storm? Seems crazy to have that type of structure without any flashing or other detailing to keep water out of the bottom of the wall.
Is that a pond in the making on the left????? Love it lads, getting ready to build mine following your other videos top quality 🙏
It will be a sunken seating area, watch out for for video!! Thanks for the comment hope you have a good day 😊
@@homeimprovements Cheers lads 🙏
Super building skills greatly appreciated
Thank you 😊
Wells done guys!!!! Excellent video and very well explained all through 🍺🍺👍
Thank you for your comment, we appreciate it!
Excellent tutorial thank you, how would one hang a TV or a air-conditioning unit or is it not possible, can you get one so you can have a separated storage room Thanks.
Great tutorial, lovely job. Thanks guys.
It’s a fancy garden shed
Awesome job guys, well done
Thanks for watching, hope you have a good day.
Love the asbestos roof on the neighbours shed
🤣
Yes you mean the one that they are illegally overhanging!!!!!
TOTALLY WRONG and how they think they can get away with that is beyond me.
Hi guys great video as always need a bit of help I can't find were I can get the black decking tape many thanks
Waltherstrong 😊👌🏼
Love it bro 🔥
Thanks 🔥 💪🏼
Awesome Job Guys - looks superb.
Thanks so much!
Really nice ❤
Thank you, hope you have a good day 😊
Brilliant....what's the internal height floor to ceiling at the highest point ?
That’s really good lads, great job
Thank you 😊
Excellent video. Can you batten plasterboard inside?
You can and we are gonna cover that and the electrical 😊
❤❤❤❤ yes lads let’s go!
For a bit there I thought I was watching Joe Wilkinson put together a Garden Room.
We need this kit in Australia !!
Great work and Great video boys. Wish that we could get these in Denmark 👍👍👍
Thanks! 👍
If you want to install shelf do you need separate interior framing? The wall doesn’t look like it can provide any supports for the shelf. Thanks!
Nice... what areas do you work... and what's the cost £££
the Maximus Garden Room Kit 5, would look great in my back garden with some solar panels on it :)
How much is this to buy? And we’re do I Get one from?
Love it. Wonderfull & well done job.
Thank you so much!
Top amei!!!! Quero ter essa tecnologia no Brasil 😢😢😢
What's the cost of the pack. .....and how much would average installation cost
8k
Awesome build ... well during the daylight anyhow ... how you swtich the lights on?
We have a video coming soon on how to finish the interior of the garden room 😊
So far best explanation video
Thank you for watching, we appreciate your support.
that was amazing. great job. looks awesome.
New subscribers love your content. I live in USA I have a small business but do great work.
Awesome! Thank you!
Amazing , clean work .
Great job lads love the way you make your vids. Just liked and subd
💪🏼
Wonderful! How much is something like this? Is this available in the USA?
Very nice thanks lads , wandering how much it cost ?
How did you end up screwing the screws into the bottom of the right side next to the fence? Looks like a tight fit.
Used a drill extension bar 😊
How did you install the fixings on the outside bottom left, the side next to the tall fence?
That question I wanted to ask myself, but I think we know the answer......
I say well done. But just 1 question. How did you rivet the bottom right hand side?
All I can think of here - why build a lovely cedar fencing and then hide most of it behind this outdoor room 🤷♂️
That says a lot about you and how you view things.
Cedar is good quality and won’t rot as easily as other types of wood
Nobody wants to look at a fence. You build a fence to either keep people and things out, or in.
To keep things, animals and people out
@@josephnavarro3620What does it say exactly?
Great video guys. What about lighting and power though? 🤔
Will cover that soon 😊
Great video! However if that was going in my garden, l would want the fitters to put the DPM on the entire concrete floor before putting the building down for extra protection of the building base.
Thanks
Their installation is correct; reason being is: the concrete slab projects beyond the outer face of the external walls of the building, therefore if you place a DPM beneath it, rainwater that absorbs into the perimeter edges of the slab would be unable to dissipate into the ground and would instead be trapped on top of the DPM, thus meaning that the slab would be permanently sat in a pool of water. In the absence of a DPM below the slab, the concrete would need to be sulphate resisting.
Do we get a cost breakdown for something like this
Now that is a FANTASTIC video, and very easy to understand. Well done. One question however- is there no base flashing to mask the edge of the concrete base?
I'd like to know how you fastened along the bottom along the cedar wall.
After discussing with the supplier rivets internally 😊
Nice build. How did you fasten the base plate on the side next to the fence? I imagine only as far as you could get an arm back in there. Never mind, the question was already asked and answered - drill extension bar. It's not something most people have lying around, but not a problem if you have more real estate to work with. Enjoyed the video. So what is going on with the brickwork on the side?
Chewing Gum while talking is annoying...lol.....wish we had this shed available in Canada.... Amazing.... Great Vid...
Thanks for watching!
Well done guys !
Great video lads ❤ Chris GSR x
great vid what's your honest opinion off these rooms are they worth it?
For speed and ease I think there priced perfectly 😊👌🏼
A beautiful shed
My first time here.. I see you have like hundreds of videos. Lolol. Do you have a video where you take an open deck and make it screened in?
Not yet 😊
@@homeimprovements aww man.. Future project for you guys, so I can learn. 😂
What jacket and trousers are you wearing? Looks bang on
We are wearing Unilite jackets, we have a discount code FREE25 for 25% off 👍🏻
And what trousers?
Loved the build and the video. Would you be kind enough to let me know where I can order this pack(panels, instructions, tools etc ) for this type of build and how much it costs?
This garden room is from The Insulated Panel Store 😊
"Don't worry this gap is for drainage" As an ex-scaffolder scaffolder if a scaffold runs down slightly that too is for drainage 😂😂
Great video guys and what an awesome product. How did you fasten the right hand wall (as you look at the building) to the base play at the bottom as the fence was too tight for a person to fit down?
Very nice work boys!
Appreciate it!
Can this be used as an outdoor kitchen ?
Or attached to the house to be used as a kitchen?
How about the electrics and lighting boys?..... and can you screw anything to the inside panels for tvs etc?..... good job though well done
We are going to make another video completing the inside 😊
nice...will look forward to that one! @@homeimprovements
Are you going to be showing how the electrics work in the building and how that can be installed ?
We currently filming this process so should be out soon
❤❤❤❤
How did you get the fixings in on the fence side? Much less room to play than the brick side.
We use a flexi drill bit long reach
@@homeimprovements
How the fook did you get the long reach down a 4 foot length of panel, with what looks like 75mm of clearence and it enhough pressure behind it to screw anything in?
Video or it didn't happen.
#Iwanttobelieve
Excellent video
How did you get the self tappers in on the fence side or did you ot bother there.
Did what we could reach 😊
Estás cantoneiras pré fabricadas utilizadas por óbvio nós cantos da contrução não são fabricadas no Brasil meu pais, embora pareça um processo possível de ser executado na obra, por corte e dobra. Adicionar conhecimento é fundamental
Thank you for your comment
Omg finally I’ve seen someone use Pythagoras theorem at work
Это пригодится только для складских помещений
These have multiple uses 👍🏻
Love the detailed explanation and variety of content! The cedar walls look stunning and low-maintenance. Concerned about the limited electrical options and potential longevity of grey products. Curious about future updates and additional features like lighting. Subscribe to explore more fascinating content on my channel!
Thank you for your comment. We have another video coming soon on the inside of this garden room.
How did you fix the left wall to the base? There’s a reason a 1.5m gap is required between your projects and neighbours property.
2 Feet away from fence u build. Law in 🇨🇦👍🏿. 👁🌎👽🛸
How much was it ??
Great work!
How did you do the righthand side by the fence? Did you just leave the fixings off?
Rivets internally after speaking with insulated panel store 😊 but we did get some fixings externally before that what we could reach
What is the high evel difference front and back??
Very nice job.
Thank you!
Amazing! thank you **SO** much for making this excellent video 🙏🏆
Beautiful!
Thank you!
beautiful concrete garden🤮
I seen this on the skill builder channel and it looks great for us as we do domestic joinery and building work for a living, would speed up the process and meet most clients needs . Its just a shame it only comes in GREY , absolutely despise any grey products as they won't hold up beyond this current fad and definitely wouldn't have it in my own house . Can honestly see us back ripping out the 100s of grey kitchens, bathrooms and floors we've done over the last 5 years . The only potential problem i see is the lack of areas to run electrics without surface mounting them , normally we'd run them along the outside in the airspace behind the cladding and in the ceiling space so could see that being a pain
That to one side I'd be interested to see an update on this project, is it a filter house for the bond being built next to it ?
Won't the ridge supports and other headers act as cold bridges or are they a hard plastic?
Fantastic work…where did you buy it and how much does it cost? Cheers!
Insulated panel store 😊👌🏼
Do they do the extension like this?
What about electric points/connections?
Hi from Russian 🤟🤟🤟
wondering how did you rivet and screw to the wall side that is tight to the fence wall
They didn't!!!!
and how on earth can they get away with overhanging the adjacent properties land with that roof!!!!! Dreadful
I like the corner panel! However, heat bridges and cold bridges occur on the floor and roof.
Awesome job guys. Step by step instructions brilliant. Is this available in Australia?👏
