Just made this Cake recipe is not bad, but it needs some adjustments. It doesn't need cornstarch, you can add dessicated coconut for a moist crumb. Corn starch makes a dryer stiffer crumb. 2 tbsp will do. Its used as an anti caking agent. Sub the milk for heavy cream, and also lower cooking times, 40-50 is too much difference. It's more like 35-40.
I tried this recipe today. It turned out really delicious. I baked this one for my husband’s bday and he loved it . Thank you for the wonderful recipe ❤
Cake looks yummy 😋 but next time maybe rather than cutting off the top of the cake try flipping it over. That way you not only get a flat surface but you also have less crumbs to deal with 😉👍
Hey I want to bake this cake for my brother. I have a few questions 1. Can I bake this in advance? If yes how to store it until the day of the event? 2. Can this handle the weight of fondant decorations? 3. Can this recipe be multiplied to make a larger/taller cake? Will it hold or collapse under it own weight? I am looking to make a 4 layer cake in a 9 inches pan
Def need to try this recipe and looks so good!! Will this batter be enough for two 6 inch baking pan or do I need to double the batter and do I bake for 40mins or an hour? I have a birthday client that requested a chocolate gluten free cake.
Super recipe..not tried yet but I'm sure it's good..can u pl tell me how much does this cake weigh also can we fill in the layers with this Ganache recipe too
If I just need to gluten free because I make it for someone how is celiac and I am fine with dairy products, I can use regual milk and butter instead of the coconut oil?
Hey! Have you tried making this cake in a baking tray size? If so, how did you do it (amount/temperature/ bakingtime)? I wish to serve this at a celebration with 20 people😍🤤❤️ It looks amazing!
Hi! Thank you! How big is your baking sheet? Calculate its volume. For example, a baking sheet 25 * 38 * 2.5 cm (the high of batters layer) has a volume of 2375 ml. The dough recipe has a volume of 730 ml. Now we find out the ratio of volumes 2375: 730 = 3.25 - by this number you need to multiply the amount of each ingredient in grams. Bake at 350 F(180 C) until toothpick comes out clean (about 20 minutes) Hope you enjoy!❤️
@@foodmetrica thank you so much for the help!🥰 I now have it made, yesterday evening, and I’m going to top it today and serve it at a party tomorrow😀 …to people not used to low carb😄🙏 I have good faith it will be a success! The batter was really good, and the smell during baking as well😁👍
Unfortunately the coconut cream sold in my country it does not have the same consistency of the one in the video mine is more liquid almost resemble oil so the ganache did not turn out the same

Can i switch coconut cream for soy cream?
How can you substitute almond flour in cakes?
Best channel ❤️
Will use coconut sugar instead of normal sugar
Can I leave out the corn starch? Thx ☺️
I haven’t tried it yet, but I imagine you could use potato starch or arrow root instead of cornstarch?
Silly question maybe but is the coconut flavour strong?
Don’t mention it :) This is surprising, but no, the scent of the coconut is not strong. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the ganache.

Hi! Multiply all ingredients by 1.7
Как аппетитно супер!!!!

Can I use cow milk and normal cream? They are meant to be gluten free?
Yes, but place the ganache in the fridge overnight
May i subtitute that almond flour with cassava flour?
i didn't try
@@foodmetrica okay, i’ll try it. Wish me luck😅
@@nrnnzlh Have you tried it? İs it turn out good? İ want to make with cassava flour too :)
@@nanasali notyet with this recipe. I found chocolate cake recipe using cassava flour hehe
What’s plant milk?
oat milk, almond milk etc
Can I remove the cornstarch?
No! The cake will be too wet without it.
Can we skip coconut oil?
no
Is this also dairy free?
of sure
I made this cake, followed the recipe to the letter but it was so dry! Gluten free cakes are so difficult
Can you replace the coconut cream? If so, with what? I’m trying to avoid gluten, but not dairy
I didn't try, sorry
You could use the usual whipped cream then
Can I use coconut sugar instead? as it's slightly more healthier.
sure
Can the almond flour be replaced with corn flour?
I don't think so
How about coconut flour
@@jenniferrivera8627 I didn’t make it with coconut flour, so can’t say
@@jenniferrivera8627 I dont think, it will work.
😍🤤
👍😋
1/2 liquid is too dry.
so fudgy
Plant milk? Never heard of it.
Way too much frosting
Well... it's good for rich people.😂 Even if I someday become super rich, I'll not buy almond flour instead of regular flour...
Wtff this is not for rich people 😂😂😂
