    That is a lot of holes to drill! Nice looking area, that is a nice looking shovel as well! Classifier buckets looked like they worked well and you got some nice gold for 2 five gallon buckets. Good job!

      yea I've been having nightmares of drilling holes lately lol... kidding. :) Yea I really do like that shovel, It is a Bully Tools shovel. The side walls help a lot with holding material. I got it here in case you are interested in one -> amzn.to/2BjmmpA . Thanks, I used your dosing rod tricks to find the pay streak! :)

    That's too bad the bucket cracked. Was thinking of doing something like that myself. I think maybe I'll stick with the smaller diameter holes. I'm good the nugget bucket is working out. Keep diy-in.

    • @CDCGoldProspecting
      @CDCGoldProspecting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both of them worked great. I doubt it would have cracked if I didn't but those huge rocks in it, after I quit doing that it held up pretty good the rest of the day. Thanks Damon for checking it out, nugget bucket is going strong :)!

    good one man much more affordable than those fancy metal ones!! and it works!!

    • @CDCGoldProspecting
      @CDCGoldProspecting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Arnie. Yea that is what I thought too. I was looking at the fancy metal ones but they were like $60 a piece. So I decided to make these for like $3 a piece.

    • @arniebowie2572
      @arniebowie2572 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah the only guys here have it for $86 canadian ....waaaaaaay too much for a classifier!! I will stick with the classic green kind.......ya just gotta treat them right and they last!!

    • @CDCGoldProspecting
      @CDCGoldProspecting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear that, pretty expensive. These ones work pretty well after the first testing of them. A lot faster than my other classifiers I have. TH-cam is being weird lately, I haven't been seeing your comments until like a day after you post them.

  • @GreenMountainGoldTrap
    @GreenMountainGoldTrap 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Yup, that's allot of drilling Cory!! But hey, they work great for sure. Your gold take for the day put my gold take for the day to shame!! But, I had a great time. I got footage of my day but, I still have to edit and post footage from the other day first.
    Almost 80 and you still wearing those gloves? Whaaatt? I hate wearing gloves. But, our water is still mad cold here so, I'm stuck with them.

    • @CDCGoldProspecting
      @CDCGoldProspecting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha thanks Joe. Least you had fun, I am always hoping for more than I get but always good seeing some color :). I actually don't mind the gloves too much. I might though if it starts to get any hotter. But around that area I also keep running into tons of rusty nails and metal in the creek. I would rather not get stabbed with a rusty nail in my hands and have to get a shot. haha...

    • @GreenMountainGoldTrap
      @GreenMountainGoldTrap 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't blame you there @@CDCGoldProspecting but, don't be fooled by the medical lies my friend. Tetnis was contracted by farmers due to soil with linkage to live stock feces. But, Big Pharma seeing dollar signs, as with many other things, told us it's from rusty nails and such, knowing many would flock to get shots.
      That's not to say it's a good idea to get yourself stabbed by something rusty. Just that your not going to get tetnis from it.

    • @CDCGoldProspecting
      @CDCGoldProspecting  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea it is hard to tell what is truth these days! lol... So I wouldn't put it past them to do such a thing! Pretty interesting info there Joe. Yea I heard it was somewhat rare to get it from a rusty nail. But I still would rather not be cut at all unless it is by a 10 oz nugget haha!!! :)

    • @GreenMountainGoldTrap
      @GreenMountainGoldTrap 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1
