Why not just have a bucket a little wider to put the classifying gravel bucket to rest into? But have a ringed screen on the top lip to close that gap between the 2 buckets to keep rocks out but the overspill goes into? Or have that overspill feed another bucket like this but the pipe is on the outside of the wider bucket so the pipes not inside the actual feed bucket.
I wonder would it work for clay as I know of place far from water which is nothing but clay. I might try this with my bucket classifier. Thanks for the ideas, this is what I love about miners we all want to help each other find more gold
Very cool! Those fittings are called "Thru-hulls". In case anybody wants to ask for one. Our local irrigation company has them and I find uses for them all the time.
sorry to tell you that is wrong they are called a bulk head fitting, you can google the difference if you wish to see what each term is. yours is just a hole for the most part.
Can this also be a means of" slooths" I don't have a water problem but I like to respect natural surroundings as much as possible and leave as little impact as possible
Now make a rifle sleuth take a 4" corrugated drain pipe cut in 1/2 screw it to a 1x4 set on a slope then use a 12v pump to ( truck battery) to make water flow over the rifle sleuth them get the pickers , N pan the fines ! well that how i did it at the river

Would it be possible to connect and learn a bit more about what you're up to these days? You can reach me at cfrisbie@hoff.tv. Also check out our website if you get a moment :) www.hoff.tv. Looking forward to chatting!
Awesome I would love that. Yeah I kept trying to shoot you a note here but for some reason I don't see a PM option? Maybe you can send me your email quick to cfrisbie@hoff.tv and we can talk when its good for you. I'm looking forward to connecting!

Very good yes .. now grab the pebble from my hand grasshpper ..😁pip pips and carryon
you can classify dry
Yea, water is not need for classifying.
Mud requires water
There's no reason for the use of water for classifying dirt.
Gold sticks to clays ... clays stick to rocks ... washy washy, young prospectuh.
Most people would put your bucket in a tub and go to work mate.
