Great result. Gold is so heavy that a good operator can make nearly anything work in terms of panning tools.

Great job on the DIY and the recovery. I think that the rough interior texture of the 'pan' really helped to control the gold.

Ok, just watched Graveyard's video! He kept it simple but was very effective! You definitely put in more thought and effort! The results from both videos were the same! Both methods worked great! Just goes to show that a panner can capture gold with whatever they have! You have to be creative to be a prospector! Absolutely loved this challenge from Graveyard! You both rocked it! I don't know if anybody told you but when you pan at home a little bit of Jet-Dry to break the surface tension so fine gold will sing to the bottom. I used to pan flower gold. With a trinity pan. Flower gold is just as it sounds go to your kitchen and go pull out the flower that's how fine the gold was I was recovering. But that doesn't happen unless you have Jet-Dry and it doesn't take much cuz you don't want bubbles... Bubbles will steal your gold too

At the start when you put that shovel in the ground it reminded me of the ground here...full of rocks! I remember my dad always fussing about his land here that my mom convinced him to buy. He left good black Texas soil behind for a plot of rocks & he regretted it for sure. Welcome to the ROCK...lol
Hahaha! Yea the rocks around that creek and house are everywhere. It’s so hard to dig which is why I normally dig the gravel bars more! Graveyard and I will appreciate you checking his channel out! He means well! 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly thought I lost some and he’s that table is fantastic and works so good, especially for me being a small time prospector. I think my second video ever (6 or 7 years ago) I talk about it.
