class lad. I managed to get xp working on my modded x230 a while back with a gtx 960 as the e-gpu. Wasn't pretty but it kind of worked lol

thank you kind sir! in the previous video (the install video/part 1) i demo'd the setup on xp via usb and it works very well! my gtx 750 ti OC 2gb via exp beast dock worked perfectly as well as i have Snappy Driver installer (in essence a huge catalogue of old drivers all the way back to Windows ME)! very pleased to hear you've had fun with it as well!

Ms-dos on x200... now *THAT* wud be a dream....
It is possible to run win98/dos but without sound *in theory* I may have to look into it. I've heard of parallel port cards, but x200 doesn't have that. I'm wondering if there's an expresscard to parallel port card. In which case it's game on!

Hey there. Thanks for the tutorial. Do i need to have an eGPU before i can attempt to install windows XP on my X200 that currently has windows 7 working well on it? Am asking because i do not have an eGPU.

You do not, xp works fine standalone on the x200, although it's gaming potential will be less, it all depends which games/software u intend to run, but xp itself works great 👍
