My dad has a Thinkpad form 1996. It still turns on and works. It needs to be connected at all time but it works. I wonder if it’s the first one they ever made because it had a lot of manuals and paperwork introducing the ThinkPad and saying it was the first of its kind. Back when IBM was IBM 🤣
Hi there, Nice collection. Wonder, You have a T60P with Intel Core 2 Duo T7600, Nice, but they You have also a T61 with a T7300, newer no del with slower CPU. That T61 can do better. Last, If I we're You I ˋll keep the T60P, correct, and the X230. This last one can have the X220 keyboard, the screen can be updated and have the best of the classic IBM plus a faster CPU, USB 3.0 and portability, it's only 3 lbs
I have a thinkpad a485 I bought off of ebay great condition for 229 total (Price, tax, and shipping) It has a ryzen 5 2500u and I upgraded the ram to 2x8 gb
Just upgraded a t540p (fhd, nvidia 730) from i5-4300 to i7-4810mq, 16gb ram, 1tb 2,5, new battery.. I sold not that long tine ago one t60 that had 1680*1650 screen, id reader that i upgraded to t7700.. I have a plan to move away from x201 that has an i7 first gen.. 8gb ram.. condition is "used". If soneone wants it added to a collection.
