If we are being technical, the clash between Moebius and Ouroboros is basically the idology clash of Logos and Pneuma, but applied on humanities hopeful and fearful wills. Origin Metal is inherently linked to the Souls of Origin and get their power from their wills as Melia and Nia explained thanks to their keys of Origins databank. The sword of end takes its shape from the wills of Origin, which are either on the side of hope or despair, hence N's Blade appears as a Moebius Blade even before becoming N, as he already imbued it with Moebius feelings. Noah's will is then a hopeful one and this is why his and also Matthew's Blades inherit that green Pneuma glow. They aren't literally there, since that is the whole reason Future Redeemed happened in the first place, but humanity became unto Gods thanks to being control of Origin and it turned the conflict of Meyneth vs Zanza and Pneuma vs Logos on a macroscopic scale of all of humanity in the form of Ouroboros vs Moebius. I also like that the conclusion isn't to reject Moebius, but to accept it. It's peak.

Built on the structures and ideology of Ontos - destroying a world to make way for one's idea of a brighter future, Given the faces of the two with power who upheld that belief in each respective part of the whole (Meyneth, Amalthus), and requiring two avatars with two drivers to operate the machine. While the hands were passed multiple times and the bearer of the role of driver and blade changed, at the end of the day its still just the same war finally coming to a conclusion.
The strings play Off-Seer Mio during the section where the horns play Off-Seer Noah, so all 4 of the core leitmotifs are represented in this one track. In fact, it's the only track that features all of them iirc
I actually prefer the version of this song that opens with the Ouroboros motif. It cycles Ouroboros -> Off-seer Mio -> Off-seer Noah -> Moebius in that order, which tells the story of Noah's life, starting as Ouroboros until he lost Mio so many times, and when he eventually met his own end, was offered the bargain by Moebius.

You'd notice while watching the beginning of Ch 6 that those leitmotifs still appear in cutscenes that depict N and M's lives before they became Moebius. Also by their very nature, the Off-seer melodies also represent the idea of death. In the specific order of the Part 2 arrangement, the medley of leitmotifs tells us this story: "Ouroboros, Death of Mio, Death of Noah, Moebius". That is literally the EXACT order of events depicted in the flashbacks of Ch 6. It's 100% a deliberate narrative and artistic choice to arrange the song like that, given the context of N's story. Nothing can diminish or take away from that. Coincidence or not (I firmly believe it is not), It's brilliant.
Specifically the Moebius theme adapted into 6/8, instead of its usual 4/4. Arguably, that's just to make it easier to segue into the Ouroboros theme (which is normally in 6/8), but given the level of musical storytelling on display in the rest of the soundtrack, I'm inclined to guess that it was a deliberate decision to represent that there's still some Ouroboros left in N despite being ostensibly Moebius. This lines up with the fact that he's not called "Moebius N" in this fight, which in turn represents that this boss battle is not a matter of N trying to preserve the Endless Now in his role as a Moebius so much as it's a matter of him personally trying to change something about the world (the fact that Noah isn't dead enough), which is inherently the goal of Ouroboros.

This song is a masterpiece, it truly matches N’s origins and his feelings through his final battle

Yeahhh it’s just a popularity contest, really. GoW doesn’t really play music that often either. It’s nice music but it isn’t exactly a big thing they were going for in the game. Other nominees other than Xenoblade would’ve been more fitting as well. But I think XB3 by far has the best OST out of all the nominees
