@@tcg2717 don't worry - Future Redeemed pretty much made X canon, and I would argue it made it a sequel to 3's events really. I have been SCREAMING to the reddit winds that the reason FR was released early has to be due to a new Xeno release in the holidays of 2023, and my absolute best guess after the events of FR is either a Remake/Remaster of X or even a full-fledged sequel to X (XCX: 2? Now that's a mouthful). I put more trust on the former, especially with some added DLC content like XC:DE that will tie things up to XC:1-2-3 (and of course, KILL that Tyrant of a cliffhanger at the end of X - where is everyone's conscience and who da hell is that man on the beach...)
It's crazy that they haven't done so! I know it sold poorly, but that's probably primarily because it was on the Wii U. My guess is that's why, but I would think they would be smart enough to realize that's a big reason it sold poorly. The series is also far bigger now than it was then!

Monolith and Nintendo need to realize how much bigger demand this game would be on the Switch more than the Wii U. It came out at a bad time back when the Wii U was in its dying stages.

XCX is such an underrated game, the sountrack was so rich and the exploration to this day feels on par with the witcher and Zelda, seriously underrated due the platform issues and the lack of remasterization , while some of us had the game and had the pleasure of finish it and own it to this day. to this day one of the best Robot games out there.
And someone, me, going to be a new player of X.. I can’t wait either!! I’m excited to see what this shit is. I already have an idea.. But I am READY! And also not ready- I can’t wait to experience it all!!!

I dont know how it holds up but if you like cool looking mechs with super weapons, a whole world to fly/move in, random super enemies popping up and... Robot insurance. This is a great game. I wishe this came out like 2-3 years ago though.

Literally every time I hear the first part of the song I jump a little. Even when I know it's coming. Those horrible, horrible Hayreddin flashbacks *shivers*
This theme perfectly encapsulates the sense of desperation that permeates the game. Humanity was almost wiped out and we've been pushed to the brink of extinction. It wouldn't take much to wipe us out forever, but we keep holding on and struggling despite the entire universe seemingly being out to get us. I love this game.
Funny thing, this game is what introduced me to Hiroyuki Sawano and I had NO idea who he was. Later on, I'd hear his music in anime like 86, Re:Creators, Kill La Kill and Attack on Titan. It wasn't until after I listened to a lot of his works that I decided to see what else he's done and, to my shock, he did this game too! Now listening to the soundtrack again after all these years, it definitely sounds like his work. There's a lot of similar elements in the music that are used in his other works.
About time this game, which was stuck on the Wii U come back, it makes me happy to see others (including myself) be able to experience this game for the first time, we’re so back baby!
Me taking on Elma in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the first time: "Okay she's a bit tough, but I can handle this" Me after Elma uses Ghost Factory: "WHY DOES ELMA HAVE CLONES?! WHY IS MY PARTY GUAGE SEALED?! WHY ARE MY PARTY MEMBERS DROPPING LIKE FLIES?!" Morale of the story: Always put up a dark elemental orb and keep it like that until Elma uses Ghost Factory.
Keeping up the orb isn't enough. You can only have one seal effect up at a time, which is the most recent one you've put up. So after putting up the dark orb you need to only use blade combos that end in dark until you reach a point where you're absolutely certain she won't use ghost factory in between dropping seal reinforcements and putting it back up. Every aspect of that battle holds you back from rushing a chain attack and it's honestly great.

XCX is such an underrated game, the sountrack was so rich and the exploration to this day feels on par with the witcher and Zelda, seriously underrated due the platform issues and the lack of remasterization , while some of us had the game and had the pleasure of finish it and own it to this day. to this day one of the best Robot games out there.

The gameplay gets really repetitive (in my opinion) but the story of the games are really great, especially Chronicles 1!
1 is available on wii "new" 3ds and switch. 2 is only on switch so far.
X the one this song is from is only on the wiiu sadly. I still haven't played it myself for that reason.
If you like RPG‘s, play it. These games (especially Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2) have some of the best story’s I have ever seen in a Game.

This theme perfectly encapsulates the sense of desperation that permeates the game. Humanity was almost wiped out and we've been pushed to the brink of extinction. It wouldn't take much to wipe us out forever, but we keep holding on and struggling despite the entire universe seemingly being out to get us. I love this game.

Funny thing, this game is what introduced me to Hiroyuki Sawano and I had NO idea who he was. Later on, I'd hear his music in anime like 86, Re:Creators, Kill La Kill and Attack on Titan.
It wasn't until after I listened to a lot of his works that I decided to see what else he's done and, to my shock, he did this game too! Now listening to the soundtrack again after all these years, it definitely sounds like his work. There's a lot of similar elements in the music that are used in his other works.
I know right? Once you hear one of his songs you instanlty recognize his style anywhere

About time this game, which was stuck on the Wii U come back, it makes me happy to see others (including myself) be able to experience this game for the first time, we’re so back baby!
Me taking on Elma in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the first time: "Okay she's a bit tough, but I can handle this"
Me after Elma uses Ghost Factory: "WHY DOES ELMA HAVE CLONES?! WHY IS MY PARTY GUAGE SEALED?! WHY ARE MY PARTY MEMBERS DROPPING LIKE FLIES?!"
Morale of the story: Always put up a dark elemental orb and keep it like that until Elma uses Ghost Factory.
I set the custom difficulty to max easy mode, and the fight still took me more than 20 minutes wtf even is that fight. And I havet even done Redux yet
Keeping up the orb isn't enough. You can only have one seal effect up at a time, which is the most recent one you've put up. So after putting up the dark orb you need to only use blade combos that end in dark until you reach a point where you're absolutely certain she won't use ghost factory in between dropping seal reinforcements and putting it back up. Every aspect of that battle holds you back from rushing a chain attack and it's honestly great.
