Imagine losing your child, then going to work everyday and watching families just have the best time together. That’s a very strong woman.
It would be really hard, this woman is really strong. I hope life is kind to her from here on out.

@@YorkieSpace My dad’s aunt and uncle lost their son in a tragic accident in 1991. He was farming and apparently had a heart attack. They also wanted to run an autopsy to figure out what happened, but for some reason, his wife said NOT to.
Good thing no man has ever had to do that. Or lost his baby during childbirth, and his wife has to stay in the hospital, but he has to go to work to pay the bills. If that happens, he is doing what he is supposed to do.
OMG that poor woman. I have two kids, girl/boy twins, and the idea of losing them is making me cry writing this. I honestly don't know of I could go on after that, but this woman has. And she's done it with a smile on her face, making other families happy with her sunny personality and good nature. Thank-you to the boss who sent her home, she needs this.
I love your heart but remember people don't want pity because she is one of the strongest women I know
Gotta admire her character- much respect for her !
@@Godzgirl23
I don't think she meant the comment to come from a place of "pity", she meant it from empathy, Feeling like what it would feel like to walk in her shoes.
@@CherylBerryl exactly. You nailed it.
_Two_ good women, assets to society! 🌸🌼 Best Wishes to _both._
Not much of an under cover boss if the waitress is aware of being followed by Cameras ..... surly....
I really liked this boss…sometimes it’s obvious that they are faking the emotion just to make it look good. This lady was genuinely moved. She was unable to keep back the tears. Bless her genuine concern and desire to help this much deserving waitress.
God bless your boss. You needed one like this. I lost my son as a baby and I know how you feel.
😢. He’s your angel and is always with you ❤️. Your so strong and loved. 🫂. So sorry for your loss and I will hold you in my prayers. God bless
I'm so sorry about your little boy. I have 4 sons of my own. My 3rd son had spinal meningitis at the age of 6 months. It was agonizing to not be able to be with him in the hospital, but my older two were ages 2&3 and I could only get up to the hospital for short periods.
I can't even imagine the depths of your grief. I pray for those who are grieving, no matter how many years have passed since the event.
💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏
I lost my little boy when he was a baby as well. I don't think anything is worse then that. So glad this mom doesn't have to work as much
When you can cry with your boss because they can feel your pain is amazing. Lots of love too you both ❤
Had me in tears. Losing your child at any age is the worst. You see parents with their sick child and when you see the pain in the eyes of that parent, it cuts through your heart.
It was so nice to see her positiveness and hard work pay off. I’m so happy for her to get paid her 2nd shift staying home.
I love this show
More company owners should do this to improve their companies and to ensure staff are treated correctly.
:( my heart feels for her i lost my 16 year old sister due to a guy blacking out on Viagra and he hit her with his car and she died instantly losing someone unexpected and so young it one of the worst things ever and seeing my step mom literally going crazy hurts me so badly this women has an amazing mindset and i wish her the best of everything
So sad
So sad
I’m so sorry you lost your young sister, especially like that. ❤❤
I lost my daughter to cancer after being by her side for 14 years. I cannot imagine not feeling the heartache that I still carry with me instead of the attitude of this wonderful Mom.
this is why this show is so deeply important ...
When you lose a child....can't nothing else in life shock you or hurt you worse🙏🏽..she's so deserving...God bless this boss....she really is a BOSS 🙌🏽
There truly is people on this planet that care God bless you for helping this employee in this way wow!! You touch my heart ♥
I grew up in a restaurant family and it's hard work!!
It's unbelievable and your brain gets fried every day at work from all the orders and all the little different things people want, not to mention to keep people happy etc... everyone, everyone is different! You go home exhausted to the bone every single night!
My heart goes out to her. She is so strong God love this woman. Working doing her job as a mom. I have nothing but respect for her
Man this really had me in tears.. My goodness... Amazing
Me too ! God bless her !
Tears can’t help it and then more tears when I read the comments. Prayers to everyone who have lost a child, or even any loved one. Grief is real and tough. June 7th was five years for my husband. May 23rd we would have been married 31 years, but we made it to 26. We made it to the silver Anniversary. He collected silver coins. Ironic.
My sister died in November 2020. I remember not crying for myself but what really anguished me was the guttural raw pain and the change I witnessed in my Mother. She is so much better now but I can tell that part of the light that shines from my Mommy is missing to this day. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child and my heart goes out to all the parents who have lost one....
Such a Wonderful Boss & Amazing Employee..God Bless them Both!!❤🙏❤️
Dang this hit so hard...lost my son when he was 4 and that still breaks me till this day..but this woman right here...she is the best example ive seen of "living your life through the pain"
Bless to her and her family and also bless to the boss 🙏🏾 got me CRYIN cryin
60 year old dude here with tears. Damm!!!
Wow, what a strong person this woman is.
Her story really hit home for me my daughter passed away suddenly when she was 16 years old 😭💔 it's hard to move on with life knowing that my child is gone. I admire this woman's strength and courage💔❤️ God bless her and her boss 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Two Wonderful Women. God Bless them.
This one made me cry. I have never lost a child but I did just lose my precious granddaughter at birth. Very hard
Such an incredible woman……
Beautiful gift to spend time with her family.
It absolutely KILLS us when we hear about all of your stories, so we understand that we don’t know your pain like you do but a lot of us are here for you all regardless. ❤️
My mom died at age 16, 2 days after having me. I never met her. My grandmother lost her teenage daughter and on the same day had to take custody of a new born baby and raise him as her own. She was the most amazing person I've ever met and i cant imagine how hard it was for her to lose my mom and not have any time to properly mourn because she had a newborn to take care of 😢 my grandmother was mom to me, she raised me from birth and i was lucky enough to have her around until i was 27. She never got to meet my son and this will always weigh on me. In 2009 my mom (grandmother) passed away from cancer . August 28 2009 i lost the strongest person i ever knew, 3 days before her 64 birthday . Rest in peace Diane Brooks you are in my heart forever❤
I honestly dont know how anyone parent can carry on after losing a child. It really is the worst thing that could ever happen to a person.
I would eat there knowing this.
You will never know how you have touched people's hearts 💕!!
Wonderful ladies. May God bless you 🎉🎉
Deanna your a strong human being God bless you my love and the child you lost. You show others what life means and what family means. I'm so proud of you my ❤❤ God has blessed you my dear ❤
Great gesture from the Boss! Only mother can understand another mother who has to leave her newborn behind and work for money! Americans laws must be changed to protect mothers and babies at least to have a fully paid year off work for a newborns.
Two great personnality! God bless you!
God bless them both!!
I get 8 weeks patetnity leave from my job and my wife gets 12 months. Meanwhile in "the greatest country in the world"...
Haha, I just posted something similar. America is awful!
Right? They keep going on about 'Land of the Free' but they have the least freedoms of the Western World!
We get 2 years parental leave. In America you're lucky to get a week in some of these places!
16 weeks. Which is more than enough. 😊
Now that’s a boss who cares not only about the bottom line but the people that make that bottom line for them
Kindness starts from the Heart.
AMAZING LADY 👏
Civilized nations have paid family leave for all.
Yup 12 months paid maternity leave in my country

Great Wolf Lodge forked over a chunk of change to give her six months off if she was working doubles. Good waitstaff like her make bank at a place like that and if they didn't cover her tips, she couldn't afford it. Good on that company and they should look in to moving her into management, she likes the work and she likes the company.
Bless her
That's so cool 🎉 I love the bosses attitude towards the employees 😁
If only 😢. My boss asked me to come back a week early. This is so good for her. Six months with her baby ❤.
I’m in tears now X
Is someone peeling onions in the room....? Wow, what a wonderful woman/mother.
This is a wonderful boss
THAT IS JUST A HEARTBREAKING STORY. I WOULDN'T SURVIVE IT. I LOST MY MOM TO SUICIDE 4 YRS AGO. THAT WAS SO WONDERFUL TO HELP HER LIKE THAT. I WAS A WAITRESS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. HARD JOB!!! SHE IS SO GRATEFUL TO YOU!!! SURPRISED SHE IS STILL STANDING AND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED YOU ARE GONNA SUPLIMENT HER INCOME SO SHE CAN TAKE SOME TIME TO BE WITH HER FAMILY!!! I WISH YOU BOTH LOVE AND RESPECT...
Sometimes you see something that brings you up short and changes your perspective. I pray that she got to spend some great time with her baby, without the worry of financial hardship 🙏
What a beauty story!
People matter the most👍👍
Beautiful ❤
This is on my bucket list!!!
Wonderful!!!!!
Very moving

The glory is to God! Bless this boss for her compassion, and this Woman for her faith in JESUS NAME🙌🏼🫶
What's funny is that what is seen as a magnanimous gesture in the US is a legal right elsewhere, for example in the UK - with a new baby - you don't just get your 'second shift' off for 6 months, you get a whole year off, and not just one shift, all of your work, for a year . . . it's even longer in places like Croatia and Estonia (65 weeks I think), the two worst countries in the world are the US and Paupua New Guinea (both at 0 weeks). In the UK even fathers get 2 weeks off to be with the mother and the new born . . . it's funny watching people in the US see this as some grand gesture, to most people outside the US it's like a boss allowing a worker a lunch break and the right to go to the toilet, and everyone celebrating their generosity 😂
That’s why the UK needed America to bail them out in two world wars. Your military would stop fighting at “tea time” and the Americans kept fighting. If this woman had better skills, she would be able to find a job with maternity leave.
@@philtheheaterguy951 yikes…chill out heater guy
@@dontgetjazzywithit You sound like a Brit. “Chill out”. “Let’s have tea”. “Don’t worry, the NAZIS will still be here later. And the Americans will hold them off while we enjoy our tea and crumpets.” For the record, my Uncle fought in the European Theater and witnessed this, first hand. The Brits are weak. Americans are strong. See: Revolutionary War.
So the US doesn’t give time off for having a baby? BS! I guess we’ll continue to bail y’all out 🙄
There are a few things I thought of while watching. First my parents also lost a child. My brother passed away suddenly at 34 from an undiagnosed ❤️ condition. Second is how hard being a waiter is. I’ve done a lot of adventurous and challenging things but not sure I can’t handle it. Social media has made so many diluted fools think they’re the food critic for the New York Times. The final is about a boss showing appreciate for their hard working employees. There is nothing wrong with being a billionaire as long as you take care of the folks you depend on by paying them a living wage.
My twin sister had 5 miscarriages and carried one child to 20 weeks and gave birth . There is this emptiness in her that is so big . She did have 3 children 27, 18 and 8 😂😂 love the ages right and they are her world but as her twin I feel a emptiness in her and I know nothing will ever fill that.. I feel for mothers that have lost children it’s a lose that can NEVER be filled 😢😢
Love is important
It’s just odd that these bosses do this, it’s kind of like a lottery. All your employees have these problems and you just can’t give all of them 6 months off.
LOOOOOOOOVE THIS!!!!
I cry 😭 so sweet
At first, I misunderstood. I thought the boss was covering her just on her second shift only. I watched again and realized she was paying her for 6 months as if she had worked full-time. Not sure if that includes the second shift also or not? Great true story!! Would like to see the moment she finds out that she is really her boss.
Omg... is NOBODY asking the obvious here??? The lady HAS to work a double to get by!!!! Why is this shyatty company NOT paying employees decently? More so, WTF does 6 months of "no second shift" do? Nada. Great Wolf Lodge please pay your employees better!
How many companies have paid you for 6 months off. I know the answer zero its just the type person you are. Congrats.
Wow, I love great wolf lodge. I will never win. The first one came to Pennsylvania. She deserves it. Good mom
Ok Great Wolf Lodge. I'm glad this server will get to take some time with family and get some rest.
OMG awesome ♥️👍🙏
We just call it maternity leave here
Normal Waitresses don’t get to enjoy maternity leave….not a paid one anyways! No tips, no money to pay those bills.

Make America Great Again: empathize, and help each other wherever possible. People helping people - not guns and hate.
I wish all moms had the option to stay home until our babies go to kindergarten. I’m really happy for her and I hope she found away to only return part-time.
Ive already had 4 weeks paid annual leave in thd last 12 months, still have 5 weeks left , plus over 3 months LSL, plus nearly 20 weeks sick leave, all accrued. Lucky I'm not in the USA.
😢❤
Just went to one of these lodges and my grand boy came back with huge pink eye
It's a breeding ground for things like that.
Pitty she couldn't have been moved enough to actually pay her staff so the customers done need to pay massive tips so she has an income.
I’ve seen this same waitress on a similar video at a different restaurant
Walmart should do this!!!!
I can't believe that their tips are their wages it's so wrong. They should be paid a wage like here in the UK 😢
Such a shame that the well-to-do and the working struggling have such a great gulf between them still after so much of history showing that it cannot sustain. This country is becoming as it was in the late 1800s during the robber-baron days. So much for learning from history.
This worker was lucky, if this was real at all. The vast majority of bosses really don’t give a shit.
❤
Getting paid min wage for 6 months sitting at home and giving up your tips isn't what I call a winning deal, absolutely every waitress I've ever known in 40 plus years makes their real money on the tips
Give her 100k also
W boss
She isn't paying her to stay home she is paying her probably closer to what she deserves and only works one shift a day. It is a shame it is only for 6 months.
Well unfortunately she was fired from Great Wolf I’m guessing after this episode aired. Im not sure why she was fired. The last i heard she was working at Goodwill after she was fired from Great Wolf. Now Kim the CEO did not fired her it was the restaurant manger or hotel manager that fired her.
This all sketched ! Undercover my ass!
This is such a disingenuous offer in exchange for turning her into a billboard for the company. Great, now she gets an unlivable wage from the comfort of her home WITHOUT the possibility of the tips that give her a chance to stay afloat. That $9/hr is not going to give her the freedom spend time with family.
Maybe if her employees were compensated fairly and didn't have to rely on tips, this woman and every other server could still work and have time for family without having to work doubles out of necessity.

The major crime I see here is a "well-done" burger order.
What kind of psychopath orders a burger like that? Should have been immediately escorted to the door and banished for all eternity.
It's not a steak. Most places don't even ask and instead cook every burger till it's well done.
I don’t think anyone who saw this had a dry eye.
I like the outfits. Both pretty women. Good Job. Where is this place. Timber Burgers.
