    So devastating to be kicked out of home just when you need the most help and support - and to sleep with your baby in a car... So glad her boss was raised in what sounds like a loving home and saw that she needed and deserved support - even if years later. Best wishes to her and family!

      She was 16, the parents were in their late 30s and the neutral response would be for the parents to raise the kid as their own and tell the daughter to go live separately until she could live on her own two feet and actually be a proper parent who could afford a room and everything, rather than an older sister.

    When he said that his mom would have taken her in …..my sister did the same thing. She was the “mom” to the neighborhood kids who just needed an adult in their life who cared. Our mom became grandma to one of the teenage girls who was kicked out because she got pregnant. When our mom passed 5 years ago, this girl came to her funeral.

    Edit: What a great man this guy is ❤
    Exactly what my mother did to me, when I refused to a*ort or adopt it out, she told "You have dragged our name through the mud, you made your bed, you lie in it, don't ever come to us for help"
    I told her I won't...I had a suitcase of clothes and nothing else...I lived in camp grounds, worked as live in maid so we had somewhere to live....a year later, when she saw that I was fending for myself, she went to Child welfare and tried to have my child taken from me, but failed.
    I worked hard and made a home for ourselves, and seeing that she tried and tried for years to have him taken away...she finally succeeded 8 years later and destroyed my relationship with my son, and destroyed him too...now, he is 43, a narcissist just like her and we have nothing to do with each other.

    • @leighhoppins9273
      @leighhoppins9273 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It has nothing to do with your parents, he could have chosen not to be like yoir parents but he probably made excuses to be that way
      Like saying “ well my parents raised me to be that way that is why I’m abusive and controlling”
      Like seriously are you kidding me people always have excuses for their shitty behaviour they never take responsibility for themselves

    • @leighhoppins9273
      @leighhoppins9273 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      How do you know your son wouldn’t be like that living with you? Having a child that is narcissistic doesn’t mean your parents had anything to do with that, he still could have made the decision not to be like them but he chose to,
      And you know if your parents were the reason he is a narcissist then, you’d be that way too but you aren’t because you chose not to be, you chose to be a better person in life
      And your the reason why you deserve a mental and lots of credit for your incredible choice it must’ve been hard to do the right things in life but you still did it
      And for that your son doesn’t deserve to have you in his life, he can stay with those losers, losers stay with losers, people like you are winners and winners stay with winners
      Only people like you deserve to have respect and kindness, that is my opinion people who make the right choices in life and chose to be better people even though they’re not treated nicely they deserve respect and kindness
      Your son can stay in misery I don’t give a shit, he can stay a loser

      @leighhoppins9273 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      One of my best friends Carrie she told me she had abusive parents extremely abusive she went though emotional abuse and physical abuse too both
      Sad isn’t it, so she once told me she’d hide in the attic until bedtime then she’d come out of hiding that is how scared she was
      And people used to say hot things to her in school because I think she came across to people as weird and strange, she was the outcast she did not know how to make friends so she would be bullied for that
      Yeah she made dumb choices in her early life, drugs and alcohol but she chose to change that because she didn’t want to be like her mother she knew she could be a better person in her life
      So she got help and yeah she has 4 children and she is an extremely kind person she has lots of friends too she is on the special Olympics bowling and other sports too
      Because once she got help people excepted her as one of them they respected her and showed her kindness and compassion so I think she felt wanted by people and that those people who she did drugs alcohol with weren’t really friends
      And it’s true they certainly aren’t her friends their nobody’s friends, because true friends don’t do things like that friends do normal things like go to work, play sports go shopping you know
      They don’t do drugs and that stuff, they pretended to be her friends and I honestly think she felt excepted by someone, but after quite a few years she realized that they were only taking advantage of her because she was feeling sad and alone all the time
      So she chose to not be like them and her abusive mother, because she didn’t like that they weee using her like that so she said “ you know what fuck these people I’m not going to be like them anymore, who wants people like this in their lives?”
      And you know nobody needs people who take advantage of somebody’s sadness and loneliness they need true friends they never somebody who is going to lift them up make the: feel great about themselves,
      That is all they want, so yeah I don’t understand why people do that t9 then people, it doesn’t hurt to show some kindness to someone who needs it most
