I feel the same way. My company made it possible for me to be with my dad before he passed. I will never forget that, I really loved that dude. He was my best friend. Its good to know that there are wonderful people in our careers who help with such matters.
@@StephJVaughn that happened to me as well. They gave me 6 weeks with him fully paid I only had to work remotely for 2 hrs every week to do the international shipping paperwork. When he passed they gave me an additional week to be with my family. It was the best company I worked for
An entire month at that, that's absolutely beautiful
And a girl at my work got written up for leaving early because her dog got out and killed by a car..she quit and I'm looking for another job...this woman has a huge heart...
I walked out of a job, when I had half a day off to bury my daughters rabbit, and they almost laughed at us for having a funeral for it..

I think Under Boss is fantastic because they find out on the ground floor just who is worth their weight in gold and who desperately needs to find a new occupation. This boss has done something that money can't buy....She has gave her best employee the chance to be with her mum once last time, that is respect. People wonder why they don't get respect just at a click of a button, but it is a two way street and has to be earned and as such this lady boss has found a lot of respect for this employee that works so hard on her behalf, I hope that make it in time lass and get to see your mum before it's too late, to give her that one last hug, kiss and tell her how much you love her. What a Beautiful and Kind hearted woman to have as a boss, the way she treated her employee was the sweetest most kindest thing I’ve ever seen, especially when the lady has been with the company for so long, her dedication and work ethics have paid off to send her to see her sick Mom, I can’t imagine how hard this must be for her to be so far away from her Muma in her time of need. My mom beat me till she kicked me out of the house at 16 so I guess this one hit me harder than most as I constantly looked for approval from her which I never received. I am so glad there are nice people in the world that appreciate hard work and loyalty

You so-called mother should be locked up in the nearest jail for child abuse! You should have told your school counselor about what your 'mother' did to you, so that the police could put your so-called mother in jail for the maximum sentence!

You can't help but love these heart felt moments. God bless her situation with her mom. But the boss's face showed not an ounce of emotion. Not saying she didn't sympathize, but the best shows are when the boss matches the tears of the employees.
This made me cry,I lost my mom to cancer 2 years and 5 months ago and it's still hard I wish everyday that I could hear her voice or hug her again..I know one day I will I always think it would be nice if there was visitation hours in heaven I'd go every time
Our mum is I think the most precious person in our lives, mine died much too soon, I still miss her lots.

Here in England we are not big fans of this series. Our take on it is, CEO's should know how their company is run, how it treats its employees without going on the Undercover Boss programme. I watched two episodes recently where the branch manager spoke to his employees like they were dirt under his feet & another episode where an employee worked 40 hours overtime every week without getting paid for it!! If a CEO is a caring person then he/she should already be aware of issues such as these!

I know how it feels to lose a parent to cancer and to be so far away, if her mother passed before she could get to her, may have taken the rest of her life to forgive herself.
Thank god there are bosses who have a kind heart, God bless the lady and her family and all my love and prayers to her and her family. I know what is like to lose someone to cancer , my grandma she lost the battle to stage 4 breast cancer in 2010. The lady she deserves to spend time with her family and see her mom again and to be with her

I was fortunate enough to be able to be close to my mom in her last days, and the same with my dad. I couldn't imagine being so far from them as this lovely woman is from her dying mother.
