Hello I got my Legion Go today! I downloaded drivers, update windows, and downloaded games. I factory reset my new device, is that okay? Is there something I should be worried about?
The factory reset may potentially mess up the drivers that were installed. If you need the drivers they should be available on Lenovo’s support site. I would try everything out first and if you are not having any issues then carry on as usual
@@okestgamer Thank you for the reply! I was aware that my drivers would be erased, but I would repeat the setup process again coming from this video. Is that fine for my device?
Yes for the most part, there may be drivers specific to the controllers or other components that are specific to the Go. If you find any issues with some things (like speakers, track pads, etc) then try the Lenovo support site to download a driver pack. Legion space may also prompt them to be installed, I’m not sure if that’s been fully implemented or not yet.
It does, but it was a little outside the scope of this video. Wanted to keep it simple for this one. I can recommend a couple of videos for that if you would like?

Great video, has helped me a lot with my go. I have a question as someone who hasn't own a pc since windows 8, what antivirus software and browser would you say is good for a handheld pc?

I would suggest 6gb, it wasn't available at the time I made the video but does offer some gains in performance. Hype rx has a few features, it certainly can't hurt to have it on for the most part. Fluid motion frames is the one that may sometimes act strange, you can always toggle that one off
I changed the RAM optimization to "Gaming"..... Wish I had seen this video first. So far nothing bad has happened though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe it's because I didn't change the VRAM allowance in the BIOS?

@@insanityworld525 yes, it made games only recognize 2gb VRAM, even with it set to 4gb in the BIOS menu. I changed it back and games recognized 4gb.
I got this and after turning it on I’m confused with all these updates and what to do
Watch the beginners guide I have for the legion Go as well. Might be good to start there and then come back to this one
Thanks for the guide!
I noticed in AMD software vram is only 2048MB, even after setting 4GB in bios on my Go
Did you touch the AMD memory optimization? That is known to cause this issue
@@okestgamer I think I did the first day. It now shows gaming and not productivity like in your video. I wonder if it is really limiting vram or not, in bios it's still 4GB.
@@okestgamer Is it known with the Legion Go or other devices too? Because I couldn't find any info so far.
After flashing the bios it's back to normal :)
@@icephoenix7110 oh this is great news! Thanks for reporting back and I’m glad it worked out
can I play co-op with 4 people with ps5 controllers in the same legion go?
Depends on the game, but it should work yes
@@okestgameris there a way or a web to be sure if a game works with 4 people in legion go?
You can probably check steam. A lot of games are not local multiplayer but instead online. You’ll need to google it per game
About the zip things, didnt got the same thing. Doesn’t have the download folder
That's odd, it should work similar to the video for 7-zip
Should update my bios and add chipset to?
You should be able to update bios and the GPU driver. Just be sure not to touch the device when the bios is installing
everything was perfect, but for core isolation i can't access the page. Help Please
I believe there is a method to disable it from the registry
