Depends on your budget, the onexgpu 2 definitely out performs the original, but it's by about 27%. For the cost difference the original may suit you better. For oculink definitely recommend the onexgpu 2

That is correct, it seems like I missed adding that into the benchmarks notes just before the charts. Are you in the HU discord server? I have some benchmark data of internal vs external that I can drop in there. It's the raw data though, haven't made into charts

@ I'm sorry I'm not on discord. A rough estimate of what kind of fps can I expect when playing let's say forbidden west on the same settings like in the video with the onexgpu 1 on the native legion go screen. Is the performance drop off big or is it like 10-20%?

@@okestgamer i imagin lol they aint give u one for free ? lol they sent y the loner or was your buddys or something ? if they sent u the loner u think theyd let you keep it lol considering your video would probably make them more money especially with people who are on the fence of getting one i want to get an egpu so bad but hard to justify spending more on thay then i did on my legion go lol i have a 512 gb and spent 1100 canadian for it on release lol but still would be cool to have especially when i plau docked 95 percent of the time

they both use usb 4 right and they both have oculink as well dont they but the legion go doesent have ocu does it ? also is it plug n play with the legion go i heard that there is drivver issues since they both use amd or something like that is that still true or did they fix that ?

@ it’s actually something I setup so I could pass it along as a among a group of smaller channels. Ended up creating an opportunity for 8 other channels to test it out.

@@jiggy902 legion Go doesn't have oculink, I actually made a video on how to setup an egpu on the ally x which is the exact same steps for the legion Go. Just need to use 7840 drivers

@ hmm.. thanks for replying btw! I ended up just taking the whole membrane and the plastic D-Pad bit out. Problem solved! Just covered the hole it left and I can use it now. Thanks for the video! I have an Aokzoe A1 but this is the only tear down I can find of any Aokzoe of the dpad side.

Yeah it's always finding balance for speed, if I go too in depth or slow people stop watching and the video doesn't go very far. One tip I would suggest is trying to set speed to .75 if you end up seeing another video that's too quick

@okestgamer I liked the look of it before but now with that OLED screen with no bezels I just thought now is the time . Steam Deck has OLED but not enough power, the Ally X to me lacked immersion as the screen isn't Oled so the F1 pro is just the best of both worlds so I pre ordered .

I would say this one and the viture pro are my current favorites. It's mind blowing when you first use this type of product
