The controllers have gyro inside, but isn't enabled yet by Lenovo. When powered Lenovo will go in to PSU mode when battery is charged 100%, so you don't need to unplug it. Unlike Rog Ally, Lenovo uses non drifting "Hall Effect" sticks. It comes with 3 months of Game Pass Ultimate, saving you over 50$.
Thank you for this video. I’ve got a new Legion Go, and I was overwhelmed trying to get it up and running. I love your bullet point list of things to do. And GO MICHIGAN!!!!
I’m so nervous because I have never done PC gaming! But I want to keep playing Palia, but I’m not down with these switch graphics. Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow and I’m intimidated. I don’t know what to do to start lol. That game is my first priority, but I also want to play monster hunters stories 2. And hell idk what else. Possibilities are endless. Cyberpunk maybe but that sounds like a commitment. Stray!!!! I think they’ll be a good transition from cozy game to pc game.
I'm going to best buy right now to get one. I'm so intimated also as I have not had a computer in about 15 years and I know absolutely nothing about computers and electronics. I'm about as illiterate as it gets when it comes to these but I love my handheld gaming devices. How did it go for you? Was it confusing and how long did it take you to setup and figure out?
@@ShadowOfDeath33 I may be able to answer some questions if you’d like. Yes there are headaches. Usually when it comes to getting it to work on the TV. The television is 16:9 aspec ration and the Go is a little different so games get confused lol. But I found if you go to game settings and change resolution to 16:9 it’s not bad usually. One thing with PC gaming is you have to go to the settings to tweak graphics settings to get a balance between good visuals and framerate for what works best for you. The virtual keyboard is finicky so I’m gonna buy a keyboard. But I think the hardware is great. I’ve reached out to Reddit with some questions and they can be pretty sassy but there’s good information there.
Dear All, I have watched a few videos. This Video and young Gentleman is Great. He explains everything easy and also simple to do.he has allot to offer in his explanations and full working ways to use. Thanks Man. Have a great one
Unlike the Ally and Deck that I preordered and dealt with perpetual tweaks and updates until stable, I'll wait several months for the Go. Also the Lenovo sales they always do, a few months after a product releases.
Just bought my legion go, didn’t know what to do or how to up date had a steam deck but it was plug n play no updates nothing with the legion I was pretty lost friends and family couldn’t help didn’t know what to do…..till I stumbled onto ur video thanks mate u really helped 👍👍👍liked and subscribed
Thank you for showing me how to do a windows update, I have been using computers ever since I got my first spectrum too many years ago to remember and without your great knowledge I would never have been able to update any of my 15 or so windows computers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Legion Go got a BIOS update and you can now set to 6gb or Auto for frame buffer size. 6GB seems to be the sweet spot for me since most of AAA games I play recommends at least 6gb of VRAM.
@@ALISHAPLAY10 it may vary depending on which game you play, High mem or high vid ram. Most AAA+ games requires at least 4-6gb vram. So basically have to sacrifice either one for what you prefer. I know my game requirements and set it accordingly, but wish these came with at least 32Gb memory
Great video straight to the point. One note though. Disabling UAC is not the best idea. You want to know when software is trying to make changes to your system and have the control. Disable at your own risk.
ESPECIALLY dealing with Steam. Nothing against them but they're the largest online digital game retailer so there's a lot of bullshit games sprinkled in with the good games that are pretty much spyware
Awesome explanation bro, keep up the solid work. Nice tips and tricks for this handheld device. Keep pushing you will hit that 100K soon, congrats God Bless on your journey
I got the legion go.. happy with it, specially its huge and vibrant screen! The best screen so far to me. I got 2TB version from Microcenter, an open box product with $720.
The Realtek Audio Console that comes with the sound driver already have a good variety of equalizer profiles to enhance the audio. "powerful" is what got me.
Most of all the genres. I'm getting older and the wrenching etc has wore my hands down. I mostly pick games that wo t be to hard on my wrist or hands. Pretty sad when it comes to that but I am blessed so no sadness here sir. How about yourself?
Really good examples of setup dude, appreciate it. I have e had mine since November and although I love it, it always felt like it was incomplete. I have followed your setup recommendations and it now operates like a boss. Thanks bro!
for your next video i would love to see you do some stress tests, i was wanting to get one because i like to play games like rainbow six siege and warzone. i would like to see the frames those games get
If you ever want to change operating systems to a linux distribution, dont update your controllers as currently there is no support for updated controllers. Plus being completely new out the box today why wouldnt you use the built in bluetooth connection rather than add latency via a usb socket?
I just bought Legion go this week. Any tips to make this run smooth? I have come from a console and need to get use to it otherwise I will be selling it. The battery is draining fast and I need to know how to install and update drivers. Also which are the best free pc games to download? Wish somebody would just do a basic run through of best settings for beginners on handheld and pc gaming. Such as optimised performance and enjoying the experience of playing games!
Nice video but me I play battlefield 1 and i have lag …why iss happening like that also battlefield 2024 i buy 2 day ago the console legion lenovo go 🙁🙁
Thank you for the tips! Hey I’m having issues running Sonic frontiers Steam on my Levono Legion Go … it won’t stay stable it stutters a lot. Rest of my Steam library games work great!
Any help with making my Legion Go to go into Landscape mode? I tried using external monitor but it is in portrait mode. Help needed pls. Thank you. Your videos are great!
The xbox tab in the Legion space always takes me to the xbox website and not on the xbox app even though it is installed on the Go. The stram app actually goes to the steam os. Thanks for any help great video
The ONE button I really want to change can't be 😭. I want to change the Legion Library (top left controller) to something else, like windows home or whatever game app I use the most.
Not sure if you already found your answer but. It's the vram or the amount of ram allocated to the graphics. On handhelds and most if not all laptop's the GPU doesn't have its own ram like a desktop gpu, so the system ram is utilized instead. By setting the UMA frame buffer (Vram) it sets aside a certain amount of the total system ram to be only used by the gpu. So if you go in and set UMA to 6gb your gpu has 6gb of ram and your cpu only access the remaining (i believe the legion go has 16gb so that would leave 10gb for your regular desktop use) Or if you set it to auto it should allocate what ever that game/program needs in order to match your graphics settings.
Noob question - can legion go play gamepass or just use the cloud gaming from gamepass? I would like to download and use gamepass games offline if possible
Let me know if you got one yet. I’m getting mine tomorrow morning and it came with 1 month of gamepass ultimate from Best Buy, so I can let you know if you haven’t already bought the legion go.
Does that audio app drain extra battery or performance? I noticed the game I tried playing got better performance when I closed other random apps like legion or Xbox even though Xbox wasn’t running a game. So now I feel like I shouldn’t ever have anything else running. I’m kinda worried for cyberpunk lol if Palia isn’t even running smoothe. Then again I don’t see any performance settings on Palia but I assumed all pc games have settings… the game looks REALLY good but I just need better performance..
My first time watching this and just now to here 2:29 but it might be too early to ask this because it might be on later in this video. So I’m a big fighting game player. I bought Streer Fighter 6 for my Legion Go and it plays so slow and it doesn’t go full screen. I also went on GOG Galaxy app and bought the first Mortal Mombat game and 2,3,4 and MK Trilogy and the first 3 games won’t go full screen and are just small one inch screen, as for Trilogy and 4, they go full screen and I can’t play them cus of the controls are outa wack. Please help me bro, I hope there’s help in the rest of this video. With that I’m going to finish the rest of the video 😊
For some reason the Top right button which brings up the performance modes doesnt work half the time. Sometimes i have to press it 4 or 5 times to get the window to open up. Is this a known issue or just me?
What about downloading games can I want to put it on sleep mode and download but it doesnt work like that so is the only option just to keep it awake throughtout ?
I just got mine and it says the controllers are connected, they’re updated and when I go to do a test it says the buttons are working however outside of that when I’m trying to navigate or press b for back or a to select, it’s not working. Any help with this would be great
Yes, there is an overlay. Press the right legion go button next to the 'Y' button (where start is on the steam deck) and its on the second tab down from the top
I don’t get the point of legion space. The buttons look so off brand and the images are blurry. Already looks like those scammy android apps that are just adware lol. Maybe I will try it again but seems like it’s just good for settings really.

The Realtek Audio Console that comes with the sound driver already have a good variety of equalizer profiles to enhance the audio. "powerful" is what got me.
also, setting the power button to hibernate fixes the SD and the risk of it waking during charge in the case.

The orientation is Portrait mode because of the Aspect Ratio I think

Have not used that feature yet.

Tell me why game pass you can barely hear anything. Is that just me the sound quality on game pass sucks on the go.
They need to enable 6gb VRAM Usage. Many AAA Games uses 10gb+ of RAM. This is what I have seen on many Benchmarks for Lenovo Legion Go.
The ONE button I really want to change can't be 😭. I want to change the Legion Library (top left controller) to something else, like windows home or whatever game app I use the most.
Is it better to download games from steam, Xbox, or just windows? I’m lost on that.
battery bar app would help with not seeing your battery life.
Why are you using the Bluetooth settings on the inzone buds when you connected the dongle??
you forgot to do just one more thing which is to disable the background running apps on windows.cheers
So do you have to download games to the device if I want to play ps5 games? And I have to be on WiFi? Like can I play this on the go?
I appreciate the video but what the heck is the uma frame buffer size?
Not sure if you already found your answer but. It's the vram or the amount of ram allocated to the graphics. I’m confused. What does the button mapping menu do? Am I mapping buttons for certain games? What is the purpose of this?
You are mapping the buttons on the back of the controllers and side of the controllers. This will be used for certain games and mostly for FPS mode.
This may sound silly but, is there a correct way to hold the device? The bottom edges hurt my palms after awhile other than that I love this device
I just grab the controllers...not sure if there is a correct way but I just hold it normally.
Yeah, I am having that issue. So much so, it has me considering returning it for the Steam Deck OLED.
Is there already an update out now? If yes where?
For some reason the Top right button which brings up the performance modes doesnt work half the time. Sometimes i have to press it 4 or 5 times to get the window to open up. Is this a known issue or just me?

Turning 3G to 4G what did that do? And I thought there was supposed to be an option for 6. Does that mean I missed an update somewhere?
Maybe that’s what the bios update was on that bridge
Can u add links for the updates please !!
You can find it here support.lenovo.com/us/en
how to automatically set microsd card as installation path?
I think have a corrupted game file taking up memory on my go, any ideas how i locate the file and delete it?
I think they watch your video 😂 they actually added the auto option for the vram on the bios 😅
I like it when you put it right thurr, right thurr. Nice to not have a whiteboi lay down tech help thanks my bro!
My legion space game store not loading but loads as hyperlinks anyone had this problem? Trying to find a fix.
Does this thing have an FPS counter in game overlay?
Yes, there is an overlay. Press the right legion go button next to the 'Y' button (where start is on the steam deck) and its on the second tab down from the top
Hi bro, i am not able to move camera to view in assasians creed game, is thare any controller thing issue?
How can i screen record my clips? 🥺
I don’t get the point of legion space. The buttons look so off brand and the images are blurry. Already looks like those scammy android apps that are just adware lol. Maybe I will try it again but seems like it’s just good for settings really.
