Thanks for your support. Yeah there are a lot of little things with windows that just bog down a system or clutter it up. I usually make these guides with remembering my transition to PC gaming and the learning curve that came with. Keep it simple and straightforward to help them get started.
Great video man, I do not own the Ally X, but I watched the whole tutorial. I fully agree that most folks get tripped up by the initial setup of these devices hopefully your tutorial is going to alleviate those anxieties and frustrations.
Great vid for starters mate :) Suggestion / personal preference about the LED lighting while sleeping/ to disabled and also disabling the bios audio when booting up

In the optional performance settings, you suggested turning off the virtual machine and disabling the memory integrity. What do these two functions actually do?

Thank you! I think it should be fine. Microsoft has a way of being persistent with OneDrive, so don’t be surprised if it comes back from the grave in an update or something lol
Just got my rog ally x and I think their something wrong with my right trigger it feels funny compared to the left and making this noise and it not registering to 100% on the tester and I tried to recalibrated too in armory crate
@@okestgamer I figured it out ! I guess you have to open the AMD software atleast once before the feature will active. Kind of silly but atleast I got it lol
Pro tip to save you tons of heartache@@!!!! Make sure you UPDATE IN THIS ORDER WINDOWS ARMORY CRATE MY ASUS then steam and xbox. Make sure your windows doesnt have any updates pending! I had to delete 1tb to do a reinstall! Was a nightmare!! Again. Updates in that order! Your welcome
The main changes are the joysticks and the battery, performance is slightly increased but really it’s those other two upgrades that make the difference.

It should all be done through armoury crate on the ROG ally

Haven't had a single BIOS update showing in that since i got mine over a month ago
That’s so odd, mine popped up right away. Maybe we received different batches, some with the update and some without.
Wait what how can you add a custom bootup when launching armory crate I want to add a custom one???

Hi, I just ordered the Ally x and I plan on using it as my pc. I have a question though, which type c port should I use for a dock?
Either one will work fine, you shouldn't see any difference

My bios update shows up in MyAsus instead. But when I tried to update it keeps showing asus software manager is busy. Any idea?

Hey, Does anyone know How I can remap the right click from pressing the joystick in to using a different button?
You might be able to use third party software like handheld companion, it may mess up the controller though with conflicts from the Asus software

no, you need to upgrade the ssd, and flash bazzite os on it.

Yes doing things in order will prevent extra work. Windows is the main culprit for breaking things so I always do that one first.
Wow 🤩 nice but too complicated. Please make shorter videos for each main topic. And talk slowly!
One thing you can try is set the playback speed to 75%. I used to talk slower but people would just click away off of the video.

the battery lasts half an hour longer 😂the only thing that has changed is the color 😂@@okestgamer
I did a battery test with the two at turbo mode. 50 min ally, 1hr57 min ally x
