I can’t really recommend a mic coz I only have a few mic. Not really a pro on it yet. If you’re using an audio mixer, condenser or dynamic mic will do.

If you check amazon and search audio mixer. There are lots to choose from. I suggest, buy the one that has Bluetooth and usb as it’s more hi tech. So you will be able to connect the music using BT. Good luck

Do you have also experiences with Zoom meetings? I have a Soundcraft Notepad Fx 8. I use it with a MacBook which I have to take for the live meeting because there I have all settings I need. I take the Iphone as the sound source It’s connected with cinch white/red. I also use my headphones for monitoring. while I am recording a song on Zoom. I can hear my voice and the music from the iPhone. But later when I watch the recording I only hear my voice. I want the audience hear the music too. Do you have an idea why it doesn’t work? Maybe you know this problem you may explain to me which controls and buttons I have to use to make it work? I would be very happy about it. 😊

Are you using an iPhone to record? Coz perhaps your phone is not connected at all coz perhaps it’s adapter issue which is common for iPhone users.

I’m not sure how good that happened. Or did you meant the vocals or music or both did not record? If you record to iPhone, common issue is the lightning adapter. If it’s not the right one, you won’t be able to record. I got my adapter from Apple Store.

I bought Maonocaster lite all in one mixer, but I notice tht the quality of my recording is not goog (My Iphone recording sound is better with my voice ) . tried with Shure voical microphone and it is similar quality. So I am interested in buying separately mixer and microphone, encouraged by this video. Do you think I may get better sound quality to rmy iphone recording? Thanks

Since I am not expert on audio quality, as per experience and in my opinion, Mixer is good to have, as you have more control to your audio output. In fact Mixer alone with mic and a phone you can do your recordings already. Again I am not good in sound settings but here are samples of my covers using Mixer, Rode NT1 mic recorded to an iPhone

Sorry I have not tried it yet. You can try connecting an xlr to 3.5mm male to connect the xlr to the mic port of the mixer then 3.5mm to the headphone port of your blue yeti

For me Audio is good. I hope you get the right adapter as you won’t be able to record or stream if you have the wrong adapter for iPhone. Ipad should work as it goes directly to the headphone port.

With this type of set of you want to connect a speaker through stereo out and to you can connect headphone/earphone through the headphone port of the mixer. Speaker should be not so close to the mic as it will feedback.
