Most likely it’s not detecting at all and the issue might be the lightning adapter. First to test if you are using the right one here is the video. th-cam.com/video/ILQcRfj6aaY/w-d-xo.html
Now if its the lightning adapter I bought mine from Apple Store and it works. Someone has message me if not original lightning adapter from Apple Store, select the one which supports calling. I can’t really assure you 100% coz I don’t have that kind of adapter yet.

Another nice demonstration .... um ... but what about all that buzzzzing (ground loop?) under all the audio when using the V8 sound card. (Too much reverb...) but the ground loop buzzing is really bad. Can you fix that? Thank you - love your voice. JR

You can lower the music volume from the source of the music itself like Phone, tablet, iPad, etc or the the music volume from the sound card.

Yes you can

@@ivanoharris456 not necessarily. There are different kinds of V8. Some V8 dynamic and Condenser mic both works at the same but some V8 one at a time only.

Do you record video on phone using its own camera ?
If I do it I can’t hear my voice in the audio recording if I use this exact set up
I only hear the background track
Yes I do use built on camera of the phone. There is something wrong in the set up or adapter issue like lightning adapter, or perhaps setting. Are up using android or iPhone? When you record did you make sure Record or Tape volume knob is on high?
Good video! Just I wanna tell you that when you have started recording whith the v8 card I heard a static noise all the video.

My instrument have dynamic device can I connect with sound card with my keyboard
If you connect your dynamic mic to your keyboard then connect to the dynamic port of the sound card, yes it works but audio is peaking. Better is possible if connected to the music input of the sound card. But please take note mic effects from the sound card will not work if mic is connected to the keyboard.

Yes this phone does not have a headphone port. So I have to use lightning adapter. I got my adapter from the Apple Store. Please note not all adapter works for Recording or Streaming-you might hear the audio but will not record/stream

No worries. That’s actually true. I’m still trying to figure out a clean audio output with V8. It’s just hard sometimes to expect high from a not so expensive device. Like using an Irig stream will have a clean output but an iRig itself is equivalent to 4 or more pcs of V8 😅

If you connect your mic directly to mac then your vocal effects is from your mac- maybe from the garage band.
Where is the sound coming from ..external speaker or keyboard
No external speaker connected. The audio you are hearing is the recorded audio as I recorded this tutorial and sync it to this video.
ok this was great. but i have an issue i have everything plugged in correctly and i hear everything amazingly but when i go live/record/ or go on social media live NO ONE CAN HEAR THE EFFECTS OR MY VOICE ON THE MIC..... they here me regular .... Very common issue Streaming or recording with no audio recorded or viewers cannot hear you but you can hear as if everything’s working is the lightning adapter. Please watch this video And Test you’re lightning adapter if you have the right one. th-cam.com/video/ILQcRfj6aaY/w-d-xo.html
You should buy a lightning adapter that supports calling off you can’t buy directly from apple store.

Much better if you plugged the keyboard in the Accompany instead. There's really a noticeable noise or feedback if you plug it on Mic.
I totally agree. I showed that I thin on my other videos. Audio output is more cleaner when connected to the music input.

The dynamic mic doesn’t on my v8 sound card but does when I connect it to another device.
Perhaps your using the dynamic mic port with the dynamic mic and also using the condenser mic at the same time. For some V8 you can only use one mic port at a time. Other V8 you can use both mic ports at the same time. If you’re just the dynamic mic port alone, I suspect Dynamic mic port is defective. Have you tried turning the mic volume to the max? If you’re recording or streaming, did you make sure Record volume knob is on high?

Did you use micro usb to usb A - from the charging port of v8 to usb port of your pc? Open setting from your pc then sounds- set input and output as the v8. Open camera from your pc then record.

If you have tried many times connecting to your laptop and still didn’t work. Try using a different micro usb to usb type A. I hope you have extra cord from your house with your other gadgets.

Yes you can. You might need an earphone to monitor the audio.

Sorry I have not tried Vmix yet. There should be a way. Most likely just set the v8 as your input and output.
Can I record just an audio
Yes. Just don’t connect a microphone then you’ll only recording the instrument.
Where is the speaker? V8 is not connected to amplifier but the sounds seem to be quite loud
When I edit this video, I combined the audio recorded from the laptop so I am also sharing what I am hearing as you would hear when you do the same set up.
Ma pls I did this connection to my keyboard...Thats The V8 and My Keyboard and I also used my fone for the recording but I was still hearing background noises .....how do I it please to stop the background noise and get only the sound from the keyboard direct
What phone are you using to record? Is it iPhone which uses a lightning adapter? If yes, perhaps the issue is the adapter. As far s as I know my V8 does not have a denoise button.

Wherever you connect your headphone, that’s what i meant. Most of the newer laptops now- mic and headphone are combined so you can connect it from there.

There was another way to connect v8 to phone which is connecting charging port of v8 to phone usb port. With this method i remember that the phone records my keyboards sound lossless because sound is recorded as a data file. I did it in past but i cannot do know. Maybe i remember wrong. If you know this method could you pleae make a video.
So far I have not tried it yet, connecting thru the charging port of V8 to Phone. It must be some type of OTG cable. I do not have that one yet.
I hear myself through my headphones, anyone know how to fix that?
For this kind of sound card, there is no turning off monitoring as far as I know

If you have tried a few times and your computer did not detect it, try using a different cable. I hope you have other same cable from your other gadgets. Make sure they are properly plugged in.

Why you need wire madam this sound card has built-in Bluetooth
Just call me Jenuds. The BT is if you connect a music wirelessly to V8. I used the accompany port to connect the Keyboard. If you want to connect the keyboard wirelessly then you need a transmitter and expect a delay. If you’re laptop has BT you can connect the music to V8 wirelessly using BT.

It must be the lightning adapter. If you can get a lightning to 3.5nn from Apple Store, it should work coz that’s what I’m using on my iPhone 8+. The lightning adapter I bought from Amazon- it only work as headphone adapter so I can hear but won’t work for Recording/Streaming. I don’t know yet what other brand works for Recording. If you can’t buy from Apple Store, you can try adapter that supports calling but no guarantee.
No matter how hard I try I can’t get the sound card sounds to project through my computer or tablet! 😢😢😢😢
Sorry to hear that. What tablet name and model you are using? Are you trying to record to tablet while background music is coming from laptop or vice versa?
